The salesman was very polite, but the bid was high in comparison to others.

Our overall experience was amazing! This is a company to hire for anything they can do. You will not be disappointed.

They came in exactly as budgeted. They got all the work done sooner than expected. The workers themselves were excellent and were very nice people. They are very professional. They did all they could to not make my house dirty. They were excellent workers.

After staying home the entire afternoon to meet Hage's representative for a 3:30 PM appointment to discuss the potential work at my home with the representative, Hage's representative called me at approximately 3:20 PM (10 minutes before his appointment at my home!!) to CANCEL the appointment and reschedule for ANOTHER DAY. After receiving the phone call canceling my appointment, I called Hage's office to express my dissatisfaction with lack of professionalism with which my appointment was handled and to request another Hage representative to honor today's appointment. The person staffing Hage's office was very apologetic and told me she was very understanding of my position and that she was already trying to schedule another Hage representative come to our house on the same day to honor the company's appointment. She then assured me that she would be getting back to me "shortly". I expressed my appreciation for her understanding and taking these actions. I explained to her that getting another representative to come to our home for the appointment later today would be very helpful as we were scheduled to take a friend to the hospital for day surgery on the following day. Unfortunately, my definition of shortly and Hage s definition of shortly must be substantially different, as I did not receive as much as a courtesy call back before the end of the business day.

They called back shortly after I signed the contract. They set up a time and came out on that time. He came out and worked hard that day. The next day another person came out and cleaned up. They were strict about doing a good job and took their time to ensure that.

The timing for completion of the project was nearly six weeks later than initially indicated. The communication we received from our salesman and the office with respect to various delays was poor, and we were typically the ones having to call to find out about the status of the project. While there were some efforts to compensate for this, it fell short of what we felt was fair. That being said, the patio turned out exactly as we'd hoped. The masons were polite, hardworking, and did beautiful work.

We could not have been more pleased with the service or finished product! Liz Hage went above and beyond to get this job done for us in time for a party we had planned, including rearranging their schedule to install the patio about one week after our estimate was made. Liz made several trips to our house with sample materials, and even stopped by after it was done to check the finished product. She had many good ideas during the planning stage that we used. The workers were timely, courteous, and very hard working. They even went so far as to warn our neighbor that noisy, dusty cutting was about to begin so they could close their windows. The patio is beautiful and perfectly graded to keep water away. The price was more than fair, and considerably less than the other quote we obtained from another Angie's List company. We have already recommended Hage to family members planning a similar project.

When they dug up the patio blocks they really had to dig down deep. It was quite a job. All of the crew were very nice and good at their jobs. I have used them before and they always do a great job. It was a lot of work this time, but the got done and it was done well.

They arrived on time to do the work asked of them. I would use them in the future. They were courteous and kind. I would recommend them. They were professional while they were working.

Martin came out and measured the driveway. He provided me two separate estimates: One is to replace it with concrete, and the other with exposed aggregate. He didn't give me an estimate with exposed aggregate with paver border. Though Hage has a good reputation in workmanship, its estimate is way above other companies.

The work was lovely. When we walk around our neighborhood, you can tell which concrete work has been done by Hage. The lifetime guarantee is a real plus (our previous steps cracked right now the middle). We could have gone cheaper, but certainly not for better quality.

Did not end up selecting this contractor.

Excellent! The Hage concrete guys are craftsmen. They listened to my concerns and created a system that directed rainfall into the yard.

Most thorough estimate I received. Excellent in designing options. Very disappointed in price, even with 6" depth cement and lifetime guarantee. Also, $25 fee for estimate is unreasonable. Double the price of two other estimates.

Based on a recommendation, Mr. Hage came out to give an estimate on concrete steps and brick work on an addition. He was very thorough and quite pleasant. It is now too late in the year to do any exterior masonry, therefore this project will have to wait until spring. The price is almost double what other estimates have been, but based on the recommendation, Hage masonry does excellent work. I do not know at this time whether or not I will hire this company to do the work. I have the winter to make a decision. I might hire this company in the spring.

Just gave an hourly rate over the phone without coming out to see what actually had to be done and the number of hours that would be required.

Their bid was double that of the bid we chose. They tried to sell us more than we needed and seemed not to care at all if we gave them our business.

Very clear estimate of work with no extra charges after work started. Beautiful craftsmanship to match existing brickwork on old home. Good value on repairing bad cement step and sidewalk done by previous contractor. Slightly more costly than others but when saw reference homes/work knew they would be worth the expense (especially after one bad experience elsewhere).

Prompt and professional estimate. The most expensive bid from three top Angie's list providers. I'm sure the work would have been excellent, but decided to go with a lower bid.

They were able to co-ordinate all of the different types of contractors out to work. I felt I got a fair price and they did a good job.

Responded well with a written estimate.... Crew showed up exactly on the date and time promised. Work was high quality and looked wonderful....They were willing to do half of the job, wait 2 days for another contractor to add something, then complete the job. ...They added coloring to the mud to make it match the existing tuckpointing.

I got an estimate from Hage to replace a brick retaining wall. The estimate was rather high but I know they do excellent work. I chose a different material instead. Mr. Hage was most pleasant and sent me a nicely detailed estimate but I did have to pay for it and it is the only company I've ever had to pay for an estimate.

They did a great job. We had problems with water retention and they solved the problem well. We've had lots of comments on the difference. It was a bit pricey, but worth the money.
