I called Direct Home Services around nine in the morning and they were there around four o'clock the same day. The serviceman immediately found the problem (the igniter) and said "It's a $59.00 part and $79.00 for repair, is that OK?" I said, "yes", and he went and got the part from his truck, had it installed, the oven put back together, and was out of the house in less than 30 minutes. I couldn't have been any more satisfied.

After finding out our washer wasn't covered by purchasing company, we started calling around. I called him on a Saturday a.m. and before 1:00 he was at our house, had repaired the problem within 30 minutes, and was half the cost of what another company said they'd charge us. He even helped us re-level the machine. He was very professional, very accommodating, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Jon Williams is the owner and serviceman. I think he is very well qualified. He had the washer opened up and the problem isolated in a few minutes. His work style shows confidence from long experience. The repair extimate was made quickly, but he did not press for the repairs to be done by him. After some discussion we decided to just get a new washer so Jon gave some recommendations for reliable brands. He could not make his original scheduled repair time, but he called during that time window and rescheduled for later in the day. I am confident that if I did have an another appliance problem, he would be a good person to do the repair work.

EXCELLENT! This is the best experience I've ever had with a repair person. He came less than an hour after I called (which is unusual in itself), fixed it promptly, explained it to me, and charged me less. He was extremely courteous and professional. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

We were so impressed with the service Jon provided. We noticed our problem on Friday morning, checked Angie's List and gave Jon a call around mid-day. He was very professional and told us that he had a full schedule but that he'd be able to stop by after 5:00 PM (on a FRIDAY). Jon was as good as his word, arriving around 5:30PM. He was extremely professional and very informative about our questions regarding the how and why of the problem and really seemed to know his stuff. Our oven is acting a little odd, and we have already talked to Jon about this appliance as well. Without question, Jon will be handling all of our large appliance repairs from now on.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH DIRECT HOME APPLIANCE. THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT THE SAME DAY WITH NO EXTRA COST. HE WAS VERY GOOD ABOUT EXPLAINING THE PROBLEM. I FELT THAT HIS RATES WERE REASONABLE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

HE DID GREAT. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE HIM IN THE FUTURE. WE CALLED THREE PLACES AND HE WAS ABLE TO COME OUT THE NEXT DAY. ALSO, HE WAS ABOUT HALF THE PRICE OF THE OTHER COMPANIES WE CONTACTED.

THE SERVICE MAN SCHEDULED TO COME EARLY THE NEXT MORNING, BEFORE WE LEFT FOR WORK, EVEN THOUGH HE WAS LEAVING ON VACATION LATER THE SAME DAY. HE SHOWED UP AS SCHEDULED, QUICKLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND REPLACED THE PART. HE WAS POLITE, ON TIME AND EFFICIENT. WE'LL DEFINITELY CALL THESE FOLKS NEXT TIME WE NEED AN APPLIANCE SERVICED.

WHEN I CALLED JON ON MONDAY, HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM OVER THE PHONE, LOCATED THE PART, QUOTED US A PRICE FOR THE PART AND LABOR AND SAID HE WOULD COME OUT TUESDAY AFTERNOON TO INSTALL THE PART. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME. JON WAS HONEST ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND HELPED US DECIDE TO NOT REPLACE THE TIMER SINCE HE COULD NOT GET IT TO MALFUNCTION AND THE MACHINE SEEMED TO BE WORKING FINE. BASED ON HIS INPUT, WE DECIDED TO WAIT TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM RECURS. SINCE OUR HOSES WERE 6 YEARS OLD, WE HAD JON REPLACE THOSE FOR NO ADDITIONAL LABOR COST. THE WASHER IS IN A CLOSET OFF OF OUR KITCHEN WHERE THE LINOLEUM FLOOR IS SOFT AND VERY EASY TO DAMAGE. JON APPARENTLY WAS VERY CAREFUL SINCE, WHEN I RETURNED FROM WORK, I FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF DAMAGE TO THE FLOOR. JON INDICATED HE WOULD CHARGE US ONLY $15.00 IF THE TIMER MALFUNCTIONED AGAIN RIGHT AWAY AND HE HAD TO COME BACK OUT AND INSTALL IT. WE APPRECIATED JON'S KNOWLEDGE AND HIS DIRECT AND BUSINESS-LIKE MANNER.

THEY ADVERTISE "SAME DAY SERVICE". WE CALLED, LEFT A VOICE MAIL AND THE CALL WAS RETURNED WITHIN 15 MINUTES. HE WAS AT THE PARTS STORE, PICKED UP WHAT WE NEEDED AND WAS THERE WITHIN 30 MINUTES - AS HE STATED ON THE PHONE. HIS PRICE WAS A LITTLE LESS THAN 2 OTHERS WE CALLED. EXTREMELY COURTEOUS AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS COMPLETELY.

JON WAS TERRIFIC AND HIS CHARGES WERE EXTREMELY REASONABLE. HE CONFIRMED THAT THE COMPRESSOR WAS GONE ON A BASEMENT REFRIGERATOR, AND THAT IT DIDN'T MAKE SENSE TO REPLACE IT. THE ICE MAKER ON MY KITCHEN REFRIGERATOR HAD NEVER WORKED PROPERLY, BECAUSE THE ICE ALL FROZE TOGETHER. HE FOUND A TINY PIECE OF STYROFOAM THAT HAD BEEN BLOCKING THE WATER LINE, AND CAUSING WATER TO LEAK INTO THE DRAWER HOLDING THE ICE. IT'S BEEN WORKING GREAT EVER SINCE. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL HIM AGAIN FOR ANY APPLIANCE REPAIR.

JON IS A ONE MAN CREW THAT DID THE JOB FAST AND FRIENDLY. HE SHOWED UP FAST AND DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I LOOKED AROUND AT A BUNCH OF COMPANIES AND DIRECT HOME WAS THE CHEAPEST.
