Description of Work: The electronic panel on my oven was beeping and showing an error code. Jon was great about researching the problem (which ended up being two defective parts...yuck!) and getting right back to me. One of the parts came in within a couple of days and he had a guy out to install it that afternoon. Unfortunately the other part is taking longer so I'm still without an oven till that comes in - but that's certainly not their fault. They've been great and I would definitely call them again!

Description of Work: Excellent responsiveness and service. My electric range malfunctioned during a self-clean cycle, causing the door to lock and the range to become inoperative. Trevor fixed the problem at a reasonable price, replacing the motor controlling the door lock mechanism. If not for him, we would have not had the use of our range over a weekend, as other repair services could not be scheduled. We would certainly use this service again!

Description of Work: I realized on a Friday around 11 AM that my refrigerator/freezer were not working. I called Direct Home Appliance Service, and he came within an hour and a half. I was amazed about this. He was wonderful -- identified the problem and gave me his assessment -- yes, he could patch things up for about $150 but he predicted that things would not work too long -- a week, a month -- hard to tell. His advice was to purchase a new refrigerator. He took the time to give me advice about what to look for. | |I will definitely use this service again. He was so honest and helpful! We hear about "bad" rip-offs all the time -- I was so happy to have someone here who could give an honest assessment about my options.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with this service. He arrived on time, was careful when cleaning the fireplace, made sure that nothing ended up on the carpet or rug in front of the hearth. The fireplace and surround are beautifully clean now.

Description of Work: I called them for a dishwasher that was leaking. The technician showed up promptly on time when the appointment was scheduled and he quickly assessed the problem. As it turned out, it couldn't be fixed. The dishwasher was old and he recommended that I replace it. (His company does not sell them, so I believed him.) I had to pay the service call, of course, but I thought it was reasonable.

Description of Work: They do not service microwave ovens. However, they returned my call and told me of a service that might be able to help.

Description of Work: Very punctual, friendly and professional. Replaced the gasket in my dishwasher and gave me tips on cleaning, and maintenance. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Oven wasn't working-called and was taken care of that afternoon. Repair was simple according to repairman. He was punctual, professional and efficient. I will call them for any appliance repair needs I have in the future.

Description of Work: Called in the AM and received same day service for a broken clothes dryer. Service tech arrived on time, isolated the problem and was completed in 30 minutes. Would definately use these guys again

Description of Work: Well, I think this is the right company! I had called them to come out and check the fridge. They did, but for a long complicated reason (on our end) they couldn't do anything at the time. But, they didn't charge me. Which, I have to say, was a HUGE breath of fresh air! So, without doing any actual services, I give them an A for being understanding and not trying to nickel and dime people!

After calling an Eden Prairie appliance service and being told they don't work on weekends, I consulted the yellow pages, checked Angie's List and found a good report for Direct Home Appliance Service. Jon Williams showed up exactly at the time he said he would, thoroughly checked out my refrigerator so I knew it was working properly. His price for a weekend was extremely reasonable, his work mode was professional, and I will definitely call him again if I need more help.

Description of Work: HAD JON COME OUT AND LOOK AT OUR REFRIGERATOR TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT WAS WORTH REPAIRING. FRIDGE WAS A GONER, AND NOW I CAN QUIT WONDERING ABOUT IT.
