Description of Work: They were VERY responsive and VERY punctual -- they even provided us with options as to where we could go to have furniture stripped, as that is what were were initially planning to do. We should've have done our homework prior to purchasing the deal on Angie's List -- we didn't realize how expensive stripping or refinishing furniture had become, even for a small piece. As a result, we didn't use end up using the deal offered through Angie's List.

Description of Work: The roll top for my 100 year old oak desk needed to be re-backed. Da-Vinci did a great job, completing the work as promised. I would certainly recommend them for any furniture rebuilding or restoration job.

Description of Work: The provider and I put this project on hold; he gave me advice on how to do the planned repair myself, which I later did successfully. He indicated during our meeting (at my house) that I could then decide to get other services later or ask for my money back, without a strict time limit. I will decide soon what to do. Anyway, I was happy with the consultation and evaluation of needs, and plan of action for how to apply the value purchased.

Description of Work: I bought a package from Angies List for $99.00 for 199.00 worth of furniture refinishing. The quote on the ring on my table was $1300.00 so I decided to try to remove it myself. So far, I haven't tried it. Received a refund from Angies List in about two weeks.

Description of Work: I contacted DaVinci after purchasing the Big Deal "$200 of furniture restoration for $99" Per Daren's request, I sent him photos of the work needed. He quoted a price and sent me information on a private pick up service to collect the furniture in need of repair. The cost quoted for the restoration of my table with pick up and drop off service was close to $1000. The completion date was 3-4 weeks out. I was able to get the service performed in my home last week for $350 by a cabinet contractor. I think DaVinci either didn't really appreciate the nature of the work needed or prices too high. In any case, I would like my $99 back as I no longer need to use their services.
