Had an elaborately carved old library table, a family heirloom, whose finish on the top was badly worn, about gone, and had some old water stains. In addition there was some damage to the veneer of the under-shelf and miscellaneous nicks and grime on the veneered sides and drawer-front. They recommended putting new finish just on the top and the shelf-top, and restoring the original finish on the legs and the other areas of the table, rather than refinishing everything, which was what I had considered necessary. The advice they gave was knowledgeable and good, the results came out great, and it was done on time, even a bit ahead of the time they had promised it.

I purchased a Big Deal for $99 for $200 worth of furniture refinishing. Daren contacted me promptly to schedule an appointment. He arrived on time, was personable and professional. He looked at two Adirondack chairs that I thought needed to be refinished for outdoor use. He demonstrated his integrity by explaining that it might not be necessary to refinish them and gave me several options to consider. I decided not to refinish the chairs as the cost would exceed their value to me, but would recommend Davinci Restoration based on my experience.

The bid was too high for the things that I wanted done.

They didn't do what I needed to get done. They don't do furniture upholstery. They were honest and upfront about what they do, and advised me to ask for a refund.

It was fine and nothing wrong with it. He came and looked it over. He saw what was wrong, brought it to the shop and brought it back the next day. Everything was a five. I’d recommend him. I’d say here is a good guy to go to for that particular situation. I can’t think of anything that was negative about him. The pricing is all-comparative. I didn’t go around taking estimates. Once they’re in Angie’s List, I’ll just take them because I assumed that they’ve been rated fine. Sometimes, I look them up on the computer so as far as the pricing goes that’s immaterial to me most of the time. If I have a specific problem or something, I need fix then I’ll see who’s available on that and sometimes there’s several choices so I have to decide among choices and it isn’t always by price. Their price to me is reasonable. The quality was the top. He was right on the ball. He was certainly professional. Yes, I would definitely use him again.

I had purchased an Angies List big deal -- $99 for $200 of services. The estimate was for another $150 for 3 - 4 hours labor to rehab the surface. The owner did the work in about 2.5 hours. The surface was cleaned of old wax, lightly sanded, and then waxed. The tops look nice now; time will tell how well the wax job holds up.

In addition to furniture restoration, DaVinci Restoration did a superb job on an artwork restoration project for me. I was amazed at the quality of the job and flawless results. I would highly recommend Daren and his crew for superior customer service and top notch work.

The table belonged to my father, who is not an overly sentimental guy. However, this table was the only thing that he has that belonged to his mother. The table always sat right inside the front door of our house and would carry all sorts of things from keys to Christmas decorations. I always remembered it being a bit wobbly but it has gotten to the point where my parents didn't want to put much on top for fear that it would collapse. Enter Daren and Da Vinci Restoration. They not only stabilized the legs but also completely re-finished the table, taking off multiple layers of finish and paint from my grandfathers attempts to repair the table. They even got out multiple water rings from plants that had sat on the table for a number of years. It looks just like new. I am sure that I will inherit the table in the future and I know now that it's strong enough to last another generation an beyond.

The restoration was magnificent! The care, detail and quality of the restoration was amazing. I was so concerned that any attempt at a restoration would reduce the beauty of the doll. But as hoped, Da Vinci's restoration brought out the detail, craftsmanship and originality of the doll. It meant so much to be able to bring back to life an important part of my family's history that we can share with generations to come.

It went absolutely wonderful! The owner was great! There was problem with one of the chairs and he came and picked it up, fixed it, and brought it back! I would recommend them to anyone!
