Description of Work: They gave me a 6 to 8 week delay before they can repair my painting, so it is hard to do an honest review.

Description of Work: I did not use the services of DaVinci Restoration after signing up for the Big Deal. The company contacted me by email the day after I emailed it with suggested dates to have my furniture refinished. Once I looked at Angie's List reviews I realized that I needed to shop around for a furniture repair person who was more reasonably priced. I am requesting the refund within the 30 day period of signing up for the deal. I gave an A rating to the company because I do not have any reason to question the quality of their work, and because their response was timely. Thank you.

Description of Work: Refinished four antique wood captains chairs

Description of Work: They refinished an old bookshelf that belonged to my mother. I wanted it to look as close to the original finish as possible. The refinishing looks exactly like the original. They did not remove all the blemishes to give it what they called a "lightly used look" which kept it looking like it did when it was still being used. "Character". It looks great and is prominently displayed in a favorite room of my house.

Description of Work: My husband and I have had an antique mission rocking chair for over 10 years that has needed refinishing and reupholstering. I finally decided to surprise my husband and get it done for his birthday. Daren worked with the upholsterer on the timing and I was able to have it in time for my husband's birthday. The chair turned out GREAT! I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work as well as how accomodating and easy to work with everyone was. I would definately give them my business again.

Description of Work: It actually went very well. They were very prompt and professional in their replies. The estimate they gave me for refinishing my table was way more than this table is worth and therefore I declined the service. I would appreciate a refund.

Description of Work: We have a set of Heywood-Wakefield living-room furniture pieces and one end table needed the top resurfaced. Darren did a great job. When I picked it up, I was a little concerned that he said he hoped the color was right - I had expected the original stain to be matched. While it's not an exact match, the grain of the wood shows better than the original.

Description of Work: I sent in an earlier concern when after giving me an estimate Darren said he would not do the work we had agreed on earlier. | |We finally came to an agreement for him to do repair another piece at what I considered was at a high cost as compared to the original estimate for the other larger piece. |I did ask him to do that and the restoration was beautifully completed.

Description of Work: Repaired 4 drawers of our chest. They had fallen apart. They were reglued & one had to be sanded. We picked up the last drawer today!

Description of Work: I had an antique tea table that was badly damaged by water, and had lost part of a wheel. DaVinci came out to give me an estimate on this and another table. I did have the tea table restored, and it is beautiful. It was done more quickly than I expected and delivered promptly.

Description of Work: Refinished the top of a 20+ year old Henredon dining table. They're not inexpensive, even with the coupon, but they did excellent work. They kept in touch with me throughout. Darren is a good business person.
