Excellent. Andrew was able to remediated to acceptable levels as promised. He seems to keep it simple and his pricing reflects that. Other quotes I got felt as if they were trying to make it more complicated than the process really needs to be and their prices reflected that complexity.

A1 quickly responded to my invitation to come and give me a bid on a radon mitigation system. Andrew came and carefully looked over our home to determine the best possible way to install the system and offered two proposals, one indoor and one outdoor. They did an excellent job installing the solution I picked. The team - Andrew and Rob - were efficient and clean, and the installation looks neat and professional. They include the electrician, if needed, in their bid and the electrician comes over to properly connect and install an outlet to code.

I have a difficult 1950ish house. The foundation is half crawl space and half basement with an early spancrete type concrete ceiling. Andrew recommended a stepped approach starting with a single suction point to be followed by additional suction points as necessary. He is very persistent and returned several times to improve the holes underground, install two additional suction points and put in a larger fan with a sound muffler. Each time we tested until the basement met the guaranteed stricter European Limit of 2.7 pCi/L. I will say that Andrew patiently went above and beyond to meet his guarantee and I couldn't be happier with the service.

Andrew was always very responsive and willing to help. We were not the ones that paid for the system, as it was installed prior to our purchase of the home. However, he wanted to be sure that we were completely happy with our system. He was professional and provided superior quality of service. I would suggest A1 Radon Services to everyone!

Our basement is roughed in and has in-floor heating. The best location for a fan is in the garage, where it can be protected from the elements. Usually, the radon is vented out of a sump pump hole. In order to vent it out of the garage, the piping needed to go across the basement floor. A1 determined the best place to pipe in the basement and how to vent it using an existing electrical outlet in the garage. In addition, A1 sealed the unused sump pump basket and any cracks in the basement floor. I had another estimate that was close in price, but not in service or options.

We were buying a new home, as well as selling our existing home - and both needed radon mitigation. A1 was wonderful to work with. They were able to complete the radon mitigation system install in the home we were selling well in advance of the closing date and provided a paid receipt and lein waiver for the title company as required. A retest of the radon level in the home indicated a big improvement - going from 4.1 to .9. We had the installation of our system in our new home scheduled for a few days after we closed - again, they were on time, worked quickly, left no mess behind, and very easy to talk to and work with. The radon level in this home went from 4.2 to .5 - very happy with the end results. We paid for both systems - price listed in review reflects that.

We were in the process of selling our house, and agreed to install a radon mitigation system for our buyers as part of the sale. Andrew came right out and gave us a bid. We decided to go with him for that work, and have him install a system in our new house as well. Both jobs were done efficiently and professionally. During such a busy time in our lives, I hardly had to be involved at all -- Andrew did great work and left everything clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Andrew helped us out after our builder told us we'd be getting a Radon System and then later told us that were only getting a passive Radon system. Our builder then tried to gouge us $$$ for putting in an active system. I called Andrew and he gave us advice/guidance for what we should know as builder was putting in a "passive" system. Once we got electrical in attic, Andrew came out, put in a fan, made sure it was working and provided a radon test kit. Andrew pricing was fair and way less than the builder. He offered help/guidance before he knew he had our business. That type of integrity goes a long way and we would hire A1 Radon again.

I contacted A-1 because their website showed lots of indoor complex routings. I couldn’t get onto the property yet, but Andrew was able to see from the realty pictures what could be done to route the system inside my closets. The execution was awesome! They worked hard to place the system in the very best location even though it wasn’t the easiest location. I love the results! In the basement, the unit is in unused space behind a door. They worked hard to run a complex set of curves to get up to the perfect location on the main level. On the main level, ithe pipe is in a pantry. From the street, the pipe looks great on the roof. Oh, and my radon levels... I bought a monitor online and it has dropped SO low. 0.06! I couldn’t be happier!

The process went smoothly and successfully. Andrew was pleasant to do business with and competently got the job done in an efficient manner.

The whole process was smooth, professional, and responsive. A-1 Radon made certain we understood what was going to happen prior to installation and was very quick to respond to follow-up questions. Our radon levels in the basement were fairly high and now the reading is so low it's almost at the level as the air outside. A+. Have already given their name to others. And if we were to sell, we would definitely hire them to do the work again.

Andrew was very responsive to my original request and answered all questions I had about the project. The project itself was done in less than 3 hours as promised and with the final result of 90+% reduction of radon from 4.1 to under 0.3.

Andy was very prompt and communicated very well prior to the installation. When we settled on a date and time, once again he was spot on punctual. Always friendly and willing to address any questions during the install. As for the install, I couldn't have asked for a better job. Its hidden as much as could be and I don't really even notice it anymore. He even had the exhaust pipe run behind the sump so I could get in and out of the under stairs storage more easily. Does it do its job? you bet it does. My radon reading before was 55.6 and the after was 0.3 (.5 and lower is equivalent to outside air) Talk about a huge reduction! (Your results may vary). Would I recommend A1 to any friends and family? Yes - already did.

Andrew did a terrific job with the installation of a radon mitigation system in my home. On our first visit, Andrew came to the house and we discussed how he would do the work and where he might route the vent pipe given unrelated remodeling work I was going to have done. At that time, I had a number of questions regarding radon and how the system would work to reduce the radon reading in my home. Andrew was extraordinarily knowledgeable in this regard and gave me confidence that I had the right person to do this work. Once my remodeling project got started and the walls were opened up, Andrew came in and seamlessly worked around my contractor to install the radon remediation system. The quality of Andrew’s work was very high. He took the time to seal exposed areas of my drain tile with spray foam, seal areas around the vent pipe in my crawl space, left a mark on the pressure indicator to denote the minimum pressure I should see when the system is activated, and he left a clean job site once he was finished with the work. I initially started with a radon level of 3.4 pCi/L. After the work was completed, the level declined to 1.3 pCi/L. Andrew was a pleasure to work with. He was easy to get a hold of when I needed him or had a question. He is very knowledgeable about radon and radon mitigation systems. And, his work is impeccable.

Great company! Very responsive and professional. First post mitigation test was much lower but not low enough. They came back on their own to improve system. Now radon level is less almost zero! Highly recommend
