Mr. Fossum came out with in an hour of my call just like he said he would. He looked at the leak, plugged it - for free! He told us what the possible problems & their costs would be but advised us to wait until the snow melts. We will definitely call him after the snow is gone.

He explained everything involved with the job in detail to my satisfaction. He was on time and professional. The actual plumbing work was done very nicely and he even re-routed some other pipes and allowed for future expansion in that area of my house. He was a very nice person and cleaned up after his work.

Everything was cleaned up and I couldn't have asked for a better job.

We tried unsuccessfully to unplug a drain using a rented electric drain snake. It worked for about a week and was clogged again, so we called Fossum after reading the good reviews. He got gobs of gunk out of the drain. It was immediately apparent that his skill and equipment were far superior to the snake we rented. It's been more than a month and the drain is still working well.

Tough job under bad conditions . I think most plumbers would not have even attempted it. He just charges too much

I first called Jamie on a Friday with a problem with a cracked portion of the cast iron drain pipe. Jamie spoke with my tenant that night and arranged a time to come out to the house Saturday morning. I thought Jamie would just be looking at the project to get an idea, but he called me once he arrived and said he knew where he needed to get started and verified that I was okay with him getting to work. I was pleasantly surprised. Jamie sensed my urgency and got to work, at this point I do not think he had my billing address or last name yet. I really felt like he was on my team, and he was working in my best interest. After finishing the project he politely asked the tenants a few questions about their plumbing. Based on their response, he discovered an additional problem with the connection of the main stack to the clay tile. Under a heavy load it would seep back into the basement where the connection was failing He tested it by draining washing machine at same time as shower was running). Jamie checked with me first but let me know it was a problem. I asked how soon he could take care of it. Jamie got on it right away and worked the two days before Christmas. Horrible time to ask someone to fix your sewer lines, but like I mentioned earlier, Jamie looked at it from my perspective and knew it had to get done as soon as possible. I was in the area and stopped by to see the work. Jamie patched the concrete and cleaned the basement floor, with bleach/water. There was no dirt or plumbing mess on site. I called Jamie back and had him fix two stems (shower valves) that were stripped, leaking, and initially set wrong. Again, took care of it in quick fashion. Jamie was also very responsive to text messages. I appreciated that because I could just text him a question and ask him to call me back when he was free, which he always did. This was better for me because I knew I wasn't calling him when he had his hands full. I will call Jamie first when I have plumbing issues.

I thought the old faucets would have to be replaced, but he found the parts and fixed the leak at a fraction of the cost of replacing the faucets. He made a total of three trips to complete the work. I thought the cost ($125) was very reasonable.

He took care of everything and the work was done as promised.

Jamie arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work on the removing the old toilet and installing the new one. The job was done quickly and without problems. The installation was not straight forward because the old toilet was bolted right to the floor without a flange. Jamie had an appropriate new flange in his truck. My Angie's List coupon was accepted with no problem and the final cost was $100.00.

He was here on time and was friendly, professional and efficient and accepted the coupon with no problem.

Mr. Fossum promptly returned my initial call and was able to develop a solution to the issues I was having. We agreed on a day for him to come over and he showed up on time with all the necessary parts and tools. He was courteous and knowledgable and solved my problem just as he said he would over the phone. I have had issues in the past finding reliable and reasonably priced plumbers and am glad to have met him. I am already planning on having him come by to inspect my boiler. I was also pleased to find out that he would show to my house near Poplar from Duluth and not charge me additional drive time.

Answered my call immediately. Set appointment arrived on time found no problem. No charge. Could have charged me for repairs that had to be done. Very honest.

Plumber arrived early. Inspected air conditioner, found no problem. went to basement turned on switch that had been turned off and unit began to work. Man was punctual, polite, and knew the equipment. I intend to have him return to clean the conditioner.. I would recommend him without reservation.

Jamie arrived on time, friendly gentleman. I showed him the malfunctioning tub, and after 15 minutes of investigating he found a hard to see adjustment that I never knew existed. He essentially turned the jets on. As it took so little time and was on his way to another job he graciously declined to charge me, even though I offered. Needless to say he has my business going forward.

Jamie is the best. We called him at a very busy time of year and he normally doesn't travel that far from Duluth, but based on the magnitude of our issues, agreed to travel over an hour to our cabin (twice). He went out of his way to make time for us and responded promptly to emails and calls, spending plenty of time explaining what was wrong and how to avoid similar problems in the future. He really goes above and beyond for his customers.

Jamie the plumber was friendly, knowable, on-time and good price. He is very prompt with returning any phone calls.

Mr. Fossum delivered exactly what he promised. We are very pleased with his responsiveness, the quality of his work, and his directness and thoughtfulness. We would recommend him to all of our friends and neighbors.

Jamie was on time and finished quickly and took my Angies list coupon no problem.

As in the above, all went well. He also had a twenty-five dollar deduction for being on Angie's List

toilet not functioning, called and he fixed it., needed a part, got it and had it back and installed with in a few houres

Jamie did an excellent job in short amount of time.

This is a 100+ year old house that was vacant and not winterized, so plumbing and heating were the biggest job on the rehab. Jamie had to replace the boiler and lines, water heater, and find and fix a multitude of broken water lines and fittings. He would fix some, pressure test, find new ones, fix, and pressure test again. It was a tedious process, but he got everything up and running within my timeframe. He bid the job less than others I had bid, but with so many unknowns, it was difficult to know what the final price would be. I just got his bill and it was less than I expected. The quality, price, and timeliness of the work were all excellent. I would definitely use and recommend Jamie to anyone that has plumbing or heating needs. He earned his straight A's.

We made an appointment for 9/28 at 8 am and he said it would take him about 2 hours. He showed up on time, did the job in just under 2 hours, cleaned up after himself and billed me for the amount we had agreed on. I am very pleased with his professionalism and work ethic and will have him submit a bid on replacing our furnace when we get back to Duluth in the Spring.

This was great from start to finish. Phone calls were either answered directly or returned within 15 minutes maximum. Jamie advised me on what type of faucet to purchase (this was my first plumbing repair) and how to make sure I was getting the correct fixture for my sink configurations. He showed up promptly when he said he would, took off his shoes at the door (we don't ware ours inside), cleaned up under the sink where the leak had been, and the faucet has been working great. He was also very nice to my little dog who was home with us at the time. I've already called him back for another repair. Highly recommended!

Very well. Quick on providing estimate (low of three) and stuck to estimate. Very accommodating with regarding plan for bathroom and plumbing - made good suggestions and was receptive to my needs/suggestions. Provided services promptly, was flexible regarding schedule, and was easy to get a hold of for questions, etc. Was efficient in getting replacement for a tub that arrived with some damage. Good quality work and I ended up with a much more efficient and neat plumbing layout.
