Description of Work: They have been busy so had to wait for appt, but the electrician that came installed a shower light, 2 lighted bathroom fans & replaced a poorly done new outlet a prior electrician had just done.

Description of Work: Our dryer and A/C were on the same breaker which caused the dryer to stop working if the A/C was on. We had called Duluth Electrical Contractors to add a separate breaker and they responded quickly and were able to come in that week. We plan to hire them again soon to install a ceiling fan in our bathroom as well.

Description of Work: The contractor had to be called twice, the second time they were very responsive. We had a simple task of testing an in floor heating system. Duluth Electrical Contracting gave me a very detailed report, and offered suggestions of what to do next. We will definitely have them back for the future work, and any other electrical needs we have.

Description of Work: This is without a doubt, the very best electrical contractor that I have ever done business with for many reasons. We did a complete buildout of a property so all new electrical was necessary and they always were focused on making it perfect. The electrician they sent went out of his way to do a perfect job. This is without question, the best electrical contractor that I have ever dealt with. Honest and Professional. They did what they said they would do and then some.

Description of Work: Contacted the Company to get an estimate on a couple projects either to be done as one or independently. On the good side calls were made and returned promptly and the appointment to do an estimate was also on time. The first project was to remove Knob and Tube wiring in attic prior to doing an insulation project. The representative looked and said I would be fine by just using the existing planking in the attic, fill in any gaps with plywood and insulate over it. This is contrary to all other discussions on this topic. Got the feeling the contractor was just not interested in the project. The other project was to upgrade 100A to 200A service and fix a couple after the fact wiring issues. The estimate received for this work was similar to others for the work so there is not much of a problem with this. I also have a bit of a problem waiting 2-3 weeks for an estimate. Ultimately I will NOT be using this company for my project once I decide to do it with a contractor wanting to do the work.

 + -1 moreOverall, good. But, the electrician did not do one part of the scope of work that was included in the proposal price: install GFI receptacle adjacent to electrical panel. Apparently a miscommunication between the proposal writer and the electrician sent to do the job. The missed work was not critical but now I have to ensure that the bill includes a deduct and then call them or someone else back to do that work.
Description of Work: The installed an exhaust fan in our bathroom and repaired an existing outlet to make grounded.

 + -1 moreVery prompt return of my initial phone call/message. Came to my home the following morning and gave estimate; faxed proposal to me by 5:30 that same evening. Very courteous, very professional, very respectful. Every phone call was returned promptly. The electrician came on time, was professional, personable, courteous and pleasant. - went above and beyond helping my son remove the existing wall oven and cooktop and bring it outside. Went above and beyond with hooking up range hood. I am amazed and so pleased there are contractors like this. A 100% positive experience. I was happy to pay them - seriously! They are 1st on my list in the future and I would happily recommend them to anyone without reservation.
Description of Work: - Removal of hard-wired cooktop stove and wall oven. - New wiring from switchbox in basement to site of new stove/install new outlet for stove. - Hook up new range hood to existing wiring. - New wiring from switchbox to future site of dishwasher.
