Description of Work: Complete professionals from initial bid to installation of the drain tile and sump and concrete work. The workmen kept me informed as to when they would arrive / how long each phase would take and were available for any questions. They sealed off the work area to minimize any dust and completed the work on time for the quoted amount. I would highly recommend this contractor for any basement repair work you might be considering.

Description of Work: Every Spring and Summer water would leak into a small corner of the basement. I assumed it was snow melt and storm run off. They very quickly indicated from the flow pattern that is was neither and did not charge for driving out and checking on situation. It ended up being the out hose for geothermal A/C was cracked and leaking. I can not tell you how thankful I am for their professional and personable service. A+

Description of Work: I called Standard as a result of the reviews on Angie's List. I explained that I had a drain tile system that was usually very active, but it had quit draining and I thought it was plugged. They explained that they don't repair existing systems, but recommended a company that could scope it and possibly unclog. I called that company and they came out and looked, but indicated they did not think there was a drain tile system, merely a sump pit with a hole in it for water to run to. They did not think there was anything to clean out. So I got a bid from Standard and another Angie's List contractor. Standard had a lower bid and I really enjoyed their salesman so we set it up. They came in one day, busted up the floor and removed the seriously plugged tile system they found there (it was not connected to the sump pit just running up to it) and put in a new one. The next morning they came back and laid down the new concrete. I did get a follow up questionnaire and I indicated on that that I did not know how to open the cleanouts in the system as I couldn't get them to turn. The owner recently called me and instructed me how to do it, but indicated that he wanted someone to come out and reset the cleanouts as they were not all installed flush with the floor surface. They are coming out tomorrow. I think that is great follow up on their part and I give them an "A" for that.

Description of Work: Waterproofed basement. Went as expected without a hitch. Crews were courteous and professional.

Description of Work: Installed a basement waterproofing system and egress window. Install went pretty well, installer communicated well, was very courteous, kept house clean as possible. Overall pretty satisfied.

Description of Work: Drain tile and sump pump. Went well, this is the second house we have used Standard on. Only issue was from some concrete debris we had to clean up outside after the snow melted. Standard probably would have come back to clean it up but my son took care of it so i never called them.
