Someone recommended these people and they were terrific in every way. They have a guarantee that if there is any water they will come back out for the lifetime of the home, and transferable to any owner. I'm an insurance agent and have personally recommended this company due to the job they did for us. They are the best contractor that I have ever worked with. Even after jackhammer the floor, they cleaned up so well I couldn't tell that they had been there, leaving no trace.

The work was done on time and to our satisfaction. There was a slight mix up in communications with the block sub-contractor, but all was right in the end. They followed up with a radon check kit too.

Extremely professional and trustworthy. Said installation of basement waterproofing probably would not solve my problem of water seeping up through the basement floor. Recommended a couple of other things to try first.

The tile system was installed 3 weeks after the estimate, which was great! The work was done well, and the cleanup was pretty well done. There were some problems with debris left behind, and one basement window was left open. The best part is that the basement is dry!

The company representative showed up when scheduled. He was able to assess exactly what was wrong and had the necessary replacement equipment immediately. The installation was very clean and efficient.

Not well. Their representative was punctual but spent only about two minutes in a small section of our basement and declared the whole basement fine. It turned out to be far from fine. We ended up having to spend thousands to fix water problems we found and reconstruct our basement. It made me wonder if the representative was being paid by the estimate, in which case the company should reconsider their incentive program. Later, when I challenged him on the phone about his quick judgment, particularly in light of what his closest competitor had found, he spoke to me in a condescending tone. I would not trust this company. I'm glad that I had such a negative experience, though, because their competitor did an exceptionally good job.

The estimator was early for our appointment, provided a detailed explanation and video of the drain tile installation process. I like the fact that he didn't push additional products that we didn't need for our situation. They also provided a 5 page list of references and have called since to see if we have questions.

Our existing pump failed. We are in the middle of finishing the basement, so seeing water coming up through the cracks isn't good. Standard was able to send somebody out the same day, although they promised the serviceman in one hour, it was more like three hours. On the phone, I was told that the serviceman would assess whether pump needed repaired ($75) or replaced ($350). The serviceman told me upon his arrival, "I only do replacements, not repairs." Feeling a little backed into a corner (what choice do you have at that point? keep the water?), I asked him why he wouldn't attempt to repair. He explained further (involving motor, check valve, etc.) and I was then satisfied that a replacement was necessary He finished in about 15 minutes, asked for a rag to wipe up the water around the sump pit, but left the old pump.

They were exceedingly clean and tidy. They worked until 8:30 at night, in the dark. They were all very nice, all of them showed me all of the stages of the job and they were very pleasant. Betty the scheduler was super-great and sweet. Len, the salesman, I loved him.

I thought we needed our sump pump replaced, but he checked it and found it to be working fine. He suggested working with the original contractor of our drain tile system for warranty work. I was very grateful he saved us 300+ dollars, we would have unnecessarily spent on a new sump pump. I found the man on the phone and the one who came out to be very thorough and concerned we had our problem solved. Thank You!

Overall, experience was good. Sales rep arrived on time for original estimate, all work crews arrived on time and cleanup was acceptable for the type of work being performed.

Overall, good experience. They did exactly what the said they were going to do, were very clear about the process from start to finish and were on time. Plus their estimate was much better than the other one we received. The only negative thing I can say is that the workers were smoking right outside the window to my office. Normally I suppose people aren't at home, but I work out of my home and didn't like to have to smell it. But I also could have asked them not to and didn't. Otherwise, though, everything went perfectly and everyone was friendly.

They showed up really late, were ill prepared and ended up working until 10:30 in the evening.

Communication with office was excellent. Crews arrived on time both days. They took care to keep my house clean during a messy job. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The day after the install was complete, we had a heavy rain and my system was easily up to the task.

They were on time and did what they said they would do when they said they would. I have my receipt and life time of the house warranty and instructions for maintenance. There have been two significant rains since installation and there has been no water in the basement. They did get cement on the paneling in two of the basement rooms that I will have to have cleaned off.

Excellent company - good price and they were on time. Got the job done well and quick. I would use them again!

In Jan. 2002, I hired Standard Water to install a sump pump and drain tile system in my basement - and I have been singing their praises ever since! Recently, I noticed my sump pump was constantly running, and it was very hot when I removed the cover to the basin. I left a message at 10 pm Friday night, and my call was returned promptly at 8 am on Sat. morning by Mike. We determined that the pump needed to be replaced. Good thing - because the pump burnt itself out on Friday night. By 8:30 am Sat. morning, reps. from Standard were at my house, and the new pump was installed by 8:50 am. They were prompt, friendly and cleaned up after themselves (it was a very wet job!). I would recommend this company and their product a hundred times over!!!

Excellent Job. They came out within a day for the estimate. Very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. The process went as explained. It took 2 days, and the crew was very courteous and didn't track any dirt into the home. They were very detailed and organized. When the sump pump kicked in for the first time, I called them at about 11 pm, left a message, and they returned the call within 5 minutes! My basement has been dry since.

We felt the price was on the high end, but the company has been around for quite a long time, and it appeared that all the parts that would be used for the job were high quality. The salesman that came to give the estimate was on-time and very professional.

EVERYONE WHO WAS INVOLVED FROM THE ESTIMATOR TO THE SUPERVISORS AND WORK CREWS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. MATERIAL WAS LEFT AT TIME OF ESTIMATE EXPLAINING HOW WORK WILL BE PREFORMED, AND LOCAL REFERENCES WERE EXCELLENT. THE QUALITY OF WORK AND PUNCTUALITY WAS EXCELLENT. THERE WAS FAR LESS DUST AND MESS THAN ANTICIPATED. THEY ARE PRICED QUITE REASONABLY FOR THE QUALITY AND AMOUNT OF WORK PREFORMED.

I was very please with the work performed. The crew was very courteous and hard working. This is very difficult, labor intensive work. They jackhammer up an 18 inch wide strip of the basement floor all the way around and haul out the broken concrete and dirt bucket by bucket out the basement window. They explained everything in the process of bidding the project and had very good reading material, including a DVD that walked you through the whole process. They were very prompt and have good follow up, including a free radon testing kit that you set up and mail to them to get it tested, a nice touch. My only complaint is that they did not inform me (until the morning of the work) that they would have to tear up the bottom three steps of the stairway in order to install the drain tile at that location. Once they tore the steps out, it was up to me to put them back. If you can swing a hammer, this is not a problem, but if you have carpet to deal with, it is a little more complicated.

The representative was professional, friendly and informative. I am planning to have the work done in March 2006.

Happy with the quick response, not too happy with the price -- the work took less than 15 minutes. After the technician left, I reconnected the alarm battery and the alarm went off again. The office radioed the tech, who returned in minutes and replaced the alarm -- no extra charge.
