John and the boys from Innovative Irrigation were hired to come and move some sprinkler heads and extend some drain tile for our landscape project. We hired him at a very busy time for him and we were in a bind and needed help fast. Despite being extremely busy, John told us "not to worry" and that "he'd take care of it." The day came for him to do the job and daylight was getting scarce. He'd said that he'd be over later in theday and that it wouldn't take too long to do the job. He and his crew had been doing projects all day and were probably very tired. Just before dark they drove up and immediately started shoveling the dirt and moving the heads and extending the drain tile. Just as they were about to finish I found 3 other heads that needed to be moved. I hadn't seen these heads originally and it wasn't planned to move them. Unphased, they said, "no problem" and moved the rest of the sprinkler heads without complaint. I have to say that John and his crew were very good at their job. Its always fun to watch pros do their thing. Not only were they proficient but they were very nice to talk with and did the job exactly how it needed to be done. Thanks again to John and his crew. I had them come out for a quote just for fun. I never thought I would be able to afford a sprinkler system. However, I Was floored when her gave me the price... $1650 for my 0.25 acre yard. I was expecting at least twice that. They came out right on time and got the job done very quickly. The quality of the system seems to be top-notch and everything is set up perfectly. He even came out later in the evening to show me how to use the system. I am very impressed with this company and will be recommending them to everyone I know!!!

I called on Friday, 08/24. Received an answer, and was told to call back to leave my call back info on his voice mail, and that I would receive a call that evening. I didn't receive a call back until midafternoon on Saturday. He said he would call on Tuesday morning, after getting his crew set up, and come out to give me an estimate for the job. Never received the call. Checked my caller ID on Wednesday morning, and found I had received a call at 5:01 on Tuesday evening from the owner, but no message was left. As of Wednesday at 1:15, I haven't received another call. I went with a company that responded to my call quickly, and within a day of that call, came out to give me an estimate. We will be spending $4200.00 with that company.

The person came in on time, diagnosed the exact problem, and fixed the issue before leaving rather than coming back and forth. The work feels good for now, we will watch it for another 30 days to see if the problem recurs. I thought he was pricier by around $10 - but at the same time - he got the job done within 30 minutes with no hassle

Called John. It was nice to have the owner of the company answer the phone instead of an answering device or service. He came to my home that day and gave me an estimate. The cost was similar to the other 2 estimates I had gotten, from other companies but they were not willing to do a couple of special items that I wanted. I felt like John listened to what I wanted for my yard and flowers. He was able to customize the system to what I had in mind and add some other great ideas. Instalation day was long but went smoothly. Even though it was late in the day one of the installers went over running the system in detail with my Husband and myself. John was on site the instillation day. I felt confident about the system when they left.

John got me on his calendar and came to my home within 3 days of my call. He looked and acted professional and friendly. He diagnosed several problems for me and solved them. I plan on using him again to blow out the system in the fall. I am hoping all my neighbors will join me as he has a neighborhood rate.... which is great!!!

When John arrived I showed him what needed to be done, and I was greatly appreciative that he wasn't judgemental, because some of the repairs needed were due to my maintenence attempts! Not only did he fix what I showed him, he also discovered some other things that I totally missed. Since there was more work to do than I originally thought, I was completely expecting to pay more. I would HIGHLY recommend John and Innovative Irrigation. John was very prompt in returning my phone call for an estimate and came out the next evening to provide an estimate. He walked through the estimate in detail about what he was providing to make sure I didn't have any open questions. Several years ago I had several irrigation companies come out and they wouldn't touch my yard. I live in SW Mpls and the property has 2 paver patios on different tiers and multiple flowerbeds that require a lot of hand digging. John said they do installs like this all the time and he has the crew and equipment to handle the project, which he did. Before the install, I had a couple of additional questions for John. Again, he was very prompt in returning the phone calls and text messages. I ended up installing the rotary sprinkler heads, which I'd recommend you check out for your project. On the day of the install, they arrived on time. The crew was extremely professional and took great care of the property. They were constantly cleaning up and actually left my patio and yard cleaner than when they started! Before they left, they setup the controller system and showed us how to operate it and to make any adjustments. John was onsite helping with the install except for a few periods in which he had to run out to do the estimates. I'm very happy I went with Innovative Irrigation for my installation!

We had multiple lawn sprinkler issues arising from having our driveway torn out, which needed to be addressed quickly before the new driveway was installed. I called John first thing in the morning. As it turned out, he was on his way to a job in my area, and was able to fit me in within the hour! He did an outstanding job troubleshooting, identifying, and repairing a leak in the system. Additionally, he expertly replaced and adjusted 7 or 8 broken sprinkler heads. He did all of this extremely efficiently--no wasted effort or time. John did an excellent job of minimizing the impact to my lawn. We found his price to be extremely fair, well below what other companies quoted. It's refreshing to work with an honest company. We will absolutely utilize Innovative Irrigation Specialists the next time we have sprinkler issues. I would be very comfortable working with them on a large-scale project. We highly recommend their services!

John was able to find the leak and repair it within an hour. Plus he readjusted our heads. Great service!

John was on time and got the job done as promised. Even though the install went smoothly, we had an issue with some wiring and John was able to locate the problem and fix the issue to our satisfaction. We would gladly recommend him for future work.

I do intend to use his services each spring and fall. He was prompt with responses and my system seems to be working very well. My grass is looking good and I expect it to continue to look even better. I am beginning to think that the sprinkler system may well be the "key" to better looking lawn for which I have been looking. I believe John's installation plan was well thought out and on target for my property and his firm executed it well. I believe his pricing was fair. I will say that it is taking longer than I expected for the grass to recover in the areas where they laid the piping but that would likely be the case no matter which company did the installation. His crew also faced an unusual amount of old tree roots and a couple other issues on my older home property. I am very comfortable with giving John's company a recommendation!

They measured and looked at our landscape plan. We had a professional landscape plan drawn a few years ago. They drew up the plan of act and gave us the bid. He showed us the product. But this particular guy did not have product but had wires and information of sheets with the product. He went cover the trimmer mechanism very thoroughly. They explained where they would use which size sprayers head or if he would use misters then sprayers. We looked at a bunch of reviews and we wanted to stay local, we like doing that. We took positive comments on Angie’s list that’s what they were about. As far as the guy showing up and explaining, it that’s was great. Nothing went unexplained. If I had questions or if he had questions he answered it. He covered it thoroughly.

We LOVE our new irrigation system. We redid our entire yard (1/3 acre) that was in awful shape. Before hyrdoseeding, Innovation Irrigation came in and a nine zone irrigation system in about 8 hours. The technician then did a fabulous job of explaining how to use the system (I have yet to read the manual and I've had no issues.) It works great and is keeping our new yard nice and green. Phone calls were answered immediately or returned quite quickly. The estimate was given without bashing the competition. We would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks for the great work. It was done efficiently. They came at 7 A.M. and left at about 2 P.M. and everything was completed in that time. They were very professional about what they did. They cleaned up well after themselves.

Innovative Irrigation showed up when they said and took care of everything for a reasonable price. I would hire them again.

I called to set up an appt for sprinkler start up and they were able to get me in the next day, which was nice. They arrived right on time and worked quickly. John alerted me of a couple of heads that were leaking and suggested replacing, which we did. He made sure I knew how to get my system up and running on the right watering schedule. They were helpful and we plan on using them again for fall shut down or any other problems that may arise. UPDATED May 22, 2012: I called yesterday to tell John that one head wasn't spraying and that I think there was one along a fence line in the back that hasn't come up yet. They had a totally full day and full for the next week but knew we were going on vacation and came out early before his first appt to help us. They found and corrected all the issues quickly and were on their way to their "first" appt. These days not many customers are that big on customer service but this company is, and it is much appreciated. Thanks!

John and his crew did a great job, were very professional, on time and the clean up was fantastic. John was very thorough in reviewing how the system worked with me and was told I could give him a call at anytime with any questions or problems. I would recommend Innovative Irrigation to anyone, in fact he wrote an estimate for my neighbor the same day.

Based on Angie's list, I called him to give an estimate on replacing the timer and moving it to the outside. He quickly determined what was needed and made an offer of $450 to do the work. He called when he was ready to start and I gave him the garage code and turned off the security system since I would not be home. He started the work and called with some questions. When I came home he needed a little more information on some of the lines that were tied together. He gave me a tour of the new timer and rain gauge and it has worked perfectly. I especially like that the system no longer turns on during a rainstorm.

I called Innovative Irrigation Specialists at the end of March on a Saturday and I left a message stating I would like an estimate on a sprinkler system installation. John called me back within a half hour and he said he could meet me at 6:00 that same day, and he was prompt. John was very thorough in explainging things to me and I thought the estimate was very reasonable. I decided I would go with Innovative Irrigation Specialists because of Johns promptness, professionalism and price. John told me the plumber would call me and set up a day to come and do the plumbing for the system. John called me a few days after the plumber came and we set up the date for the installation, which was 12:00 on 4/25/2012. John and his crew arrived at 10:30 and started the work immediately. They were all very nice and did a great job of installing the sprinklers and cleaning up after. They explained the system to me and made sure all the sprinklers were working correctly. I am very happy with the outcome and I highly recommend this company.

You owe it to yourself and your lawn to work with Innovative Irrigation! John is an expert in his craft and he is passionate about providing an excellent customer experience. If you have any needs (large or small) you can take my personal recommendation that Innovative Irrigation will take great care of you and your lawn.

We had the big deal and it was about $100 with the deal included. The deal was for $49 and there was a little bit extra for a repair. They did a good job and they were fast. I would use their services in the future too.
