Innovative Irrigation Specialists

John is great to work with. We called him last week to ask if he'd be interested in doing the work noted above, and possibly doing spring/fall startup/blowout. He stopped by the next day, took a look, and gave us an estimate. We shook hands and waited for him to fit us into his schedule. That didn't take long. He and one of his crew (Sorry, I'm getting old and forgot his name. :) were here today and did a wonderful job. Our rain detector "disappeared" a few years ago when the house was resided. I asked John if he would be able to install a new detector. He did, and it's much nicer than the one we originally had. Wireless, even. It's going to be nice to not have to second-guess Mother Nature and manually turn the system off/on during rainy periods. We asked him to fit us into his schedule for adding an additional sprinkler in the front yard, and replacing a couple ancient ones that don't have long for this world. He'll let us know when he'll be able to do it. We've also told him he's hired for our spring startup and fall blowout. We've had several companies maintaining our irrigation system over the years, but none of them can hold a candle to Innovative Irrigation Specialists. Great work, John!

John and his team showed up on time, in uniform! and got the job done in conjunction with a sod team to make this a non-stressful re-landscape of our entire yard. He came to do the estimate and took time to walk us through what he and his team would do, asked us questions on what was important to us and gave us a very competative quote. John and his team were very personable, and professional. John took care of everything for us! Our old sod was removed, new sod layed, and having our yard staked (twice), and the installation of the irrigation system. We had them come back out to make a couple minor adjustments and we recieved the same upfront and personal attention. I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing this service. I cannot thank John and his team enough!

Although they postponed coming for 2 weeks because of the bad weather (which they communicated clearly and upfront), they came on the day and time planned, and did an excellent job. Set up a professional irrigation system in the backyard and the lawn on the boulevard (between sidewalk and street). Not an easy job - we have an old picket fence around the yard that we did not want destroyed, they found the less visible spot to remove it (to allow for their tractor to enter), and they replaced it impeccably. The service went smoothly - very polite guys who asked my husband if they could take their shirts off in super hot weather! Extremely clean work - you cannot tell that they did so much digging (they said we would not see much difference afterwards and we were skeptical, they were right). They also trained us on how to operate the system and spot issues. The price was the best we found, and they offered to come back if we have any issues opertaing the system. Highly recommended.

I had called several companies and left messages. Another company called back first and repaired the leak. I appreciated the information and the callback from this company even I didn't end up using them.

John and team did an excellent job installing the sprinkler system. I can clearly see the quality difference between my neighbors sprinkler system and my sprinkler system. Very friendly folks. Very punctual. Prompt in replying to the calls. I got quotes from some other companies who installed sprinkler systems in the community. They all quoted high. One company stopped by and dropped their advertisement. Their price quote was cheaper compared to what John quoted by $250. But the quality difference is quite visible. John and team installed Hunter brand 6 zone sprinkler system, set the range of each sprinkler head correctly and set the system to turn on at particular times in the day. They did an excellent job, if we could give them 10 stars we would. We had an issue with a company we previously contracted to put our sprinker system in due to not keeping appts or calling. I went on Angie's list and found Innovative Irrigation and are we glad we did. The owner of the company came out to give us an estimate the day after we called and he was there right on time:) due to the weather they were backed up but fit us in there schedule and we had it installed within days. There customer service is outstanding as well as there professionalism. All of the staff were wonderful very polite respectful and answered and explained everything to us regarding the operation of the system. If you are looking for a company to install your system no need to look anywere else. Thank you

We met early one morning at my home and walked the job. He commented that this would be a difficult job but that he was the owner of the company and he could handle it. I never received a bid so I called again and asked if he had it yet (this was about a month later) and he said he would make sure to get it out to me. I have yet to date seen a bid for this work. I work with GC's and contractors for interior commercial work on a daily bases and I usually find the quality that you receive is usually indicated and continued from the initial meeting. While I hate to give a contractor a negative review his inability to follow up gives me no other choice. I picked him based on his Angie's list rating and I would only assume from that my experience was unique but it was my experience and in this case he failed miserably in the follow up department. I would be concerned that this would carry over to other aspects of his service.

They did a great job! They had to work around a lot of obstacles (including many perennials) for the base sprinkler system and also the install of drip lines to flower boxes and landscaped areas and were very cautious. John and team took the time to explain how the system works and the different components that were installed. The job was delayed multiple times due to the weather but John was always on top of things and proactively communicated the schedule changes. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Can't comment on the efficiency of the system yet as it has been rainy since the install, but it appears to be of very high quality, so I'm confident I'll have something that works great! And, given the responsiveness of John, I have no concerns that he would immediately address any issues should they arise.

They do their job and then some.

John and his crew made the trip to our cabin and install a complicated system using the lake as the water source combined with a lot of hand digging to avoid underground utility lines. This was the second time we used Innovative and it went great -- "we are a customer for life"

I needed some irrigation lines moved and some sprinkler heads removed in advance of some street reconstruction. John picked up the phone right away even though he was very busy with system installs and other customer's repairs. He was very helpful and knowledgeable on the phone. He came right out and did an excellent job at a great price (only $70 and he had another coworker with him). When I had a head fail a few days later (unrelated to the other work- it was in another zone in the back yard) he again came right out and replaced the head. Another great job at an excellent price (only $20). John is a hard worker who cares about his customers and his work. He has a customer for life. Please give him a call when you need an irrigation system or service or repair of your existing system. You'll be happy you did!

We had priced irrigation systems with several people. John was priced fair and was pleasant to deal with as well as all of his crew. He really took time to think out his plan for our yard. We sit up on a hill and have a strange layout so it definitely wasn't an easy job. John and his crew showed up on time when they said they would be here. They worked an entire day through off and on rain to get the system in. We have yet to use the system with all of the rain, but we have no doubt that John will stand behind his work and make sure that we are happy with our irrigation system. I would definitely recommend them.

John came out today to do some work for me regarding some sprinkler heads not performing properly. He was there right on time and actually beat me to my house as I was dropping off the kids. I was a few minutes late and he was not upset at all. The weather was nasty and wet and I felt a little bad about having him do the work in the rain/cold/wet weather. He was smiling the entire time and we were talking as he did his work. He is very efficient and fast and when the job was done I had exactly what I had hoped for. I love working with Innovative Irrigation Specialists and you will too. They are knowledgeable, fast and fair. The guys were terrific. I called late in the season when they had a very busy schedule. They were able to get out to my house within 10 days. I knew what day they were coming and the approximate time (it was later in the day and they had numerous blow-out jobs before that). They showed up when I expected they would and were very professional. They completed the job quickly. My controllers are in the basement and they were conscientious about taking off their shoes and not making a mess. Great organization that I will use again in the fall. You can call the other guys who advertise $50.00 blow-outs by the side of the road (with no company name on the ad) and take a chance that they will treat you right. I am more than happy to spend a few extra dollars to hire a company who is professional, punctual and I know will do the job right. Innovative Irrigation Specialists is that company.

The staff was here on time and completed the job when promised. They were professional and cleaned up after they were done and they explained to me again how the system works.

We recently bought a house with an irrigation system, something we've never had before. We called two places - Innovative Irrigation Systems and the company listed on the control box who must have serviced it with the previous owners. I found Innovative Irrigation Systems on Angie's List and received a call back within a couple hours, while the other company took two days to call back. John came over the same day to take a look at what repairs needed to be done. He gave me an estimate of $150 for the pipe repair and said he'd include the blowout towards the end of October. Since this wasn't an urgent matter for us, we scheduled the repair a week later. He came back and repaired the pipe and tested all of the sprinkler heads to ensure they worked. He found a few things that need to be repaired, but those can wait until the spring time. He came back another week later to perform the blowout. All in all, I can't recommend this company enough. I'm looking forward to having them get everything working in the spring.

I had 3 estimates and Innovative Irrigation was right in the middle, but offered the best product (Hunter) and I was confident they were looking out for me. They installed in one morning and then came and blew the sprinklers out this fall. My lawn looks great.

These guys ROCK. John is VERY responsive when I have an urgent issue. His crew is courteous, clean when they come in the house, and do a great job.

John saved me. Late in a landscaping project, the day before my driveway was to be torn out, a different irrigation company bailed out on me. That company was concerned because I have a septic system with a lift station and an underground line running to a drain field. I found Innovative Irrigation Specialists via Angie's List and called. He came out that evening and reviewed the project. I told him about the lift station and he said he wasn't worried - he would simply dig to find it. He got a bid back to me right away and agreed to get started with the idea of coming back after the driveway was done and making some location changes to some heads and re-adjusting the spray. On the day we had agreed on, he showed up early and his team started working. This was a big project and took two full days to complete. The system has 9 zones and approximately 75 heads. Several weeks later when the driveway was complete and had set, his team came back, moved every head that needed it, re-adjusted all the sprays and made some special changes we asked for and replaced ahead that had been run over. I hired john for these reasons: He was: 1.) Punctual and always called me back. 2.) Professional in the way he does business - both the way he and his team appear, clean vehicles, company shorts, etc; but also the way he handles himself as a business man. 3.) Had good ratings on Angie's List In the end, I am very happy with the system he set up, his willingness to listen and his personal work ethic.

We had our irrigation system installed by a different company(Through our Builder). Although, they did a fine job installing the system I thought there cost to winterize were very expensive. I came to Angie's list to find a highly recommend irrigation company to winterize my system. I spoke with John, the owner, on the phone and he was professional and personable. He was installing an irrigation system and said he would call me within a week to schedule my shutdown. As promised he called and we set up the appointment. I wasn't sure if he or one of his crew would show up, but was pleased to see John at my home. He was knowledgeable, polite, and punctual. The whole process doesn't take to long, but it's good to know someone is taking care of your stuff like they would there own. I will be using John and his company for both shut-down, start-up and any other irrigation issues I may have. I will highly recommend him and his company.

I called Inovatve Irragation because of their rating on Angie's list. I was recovering from surgery and coud not make the necessary repairs to my irragation system myself. John came out within two hours to look at the project and give me an estimate. He made some immediate, necessary repairs in the process. John told be the entire project would be $ 250.00, a very acceptable price. He had a crew out the next business day, they neatly and efficiently repaired and adjusted the sprinkler heads and checked the system. When I recieved the bill for $ 240.00 (less than estimated, that doesn't happen often) I was pleased. When the job was finished, John came out the check on it, noticed two areas that were not up to his standards and had them repaired. When I thought about it, by the time I determined what was needed, went and got the parts and then had the hastle of running back and forth to the control box while fixing thing myself, I don't think it was any more expensive to have Inovative Irragation do the work than it would have been to do it myself. Inovative Irragation is on my speed dial for the future. Infact, I'm leaving my compressor in the garage this fall, Inovative Irragation's schuled to winterize my system.

The work was completed in one day, without any problem and the yard left in great shape.
