Innovative Irrigation Specialists

First off, John was the first one to give me a quote. He showed up a half hour after I called! We did get quotes from other irrigation specialists, but we were impressed by Innovative's quote, and the reviews on Angies list. They did not disappoint. They showed up promptly at 7 am, and John was with them. They did the whole thing in about 3 hours. My lawn looks great now, and is healing up well too. Also, I asked him for a invoice a few weeks later ( I got a receipt earlier but I wanted the invoice), and he mailed it to me the very next day. Great customer service!

Not only did John Sandberg save our sprinkler system, he likely saved our marriage. The sprinkler system was a continual source of frustration in our household and we had consulted 2 other providers on it before we contacted Innovative Irrigation. One we found on Angie's List and they were ok, but refused to come out and help us with our current issue. John came out on a Sunday and took his time to fix the issue we were having. We had low water pressure on all heads of our system. John came out and discovered that one of our valves needed to be replaced. He cut into the system (PVC) and took out the master valve which we did not require anyway. our system works great now and our lawn is looking great! We are now committed to using John's start up, mid-season check up and end of the season blow out service. Thanks John!!!

I was very impressed!!! John arrived right on time. He saw the problem and needed to go get some parts to repair it;(which John stated when we scheduled the service call). He was back in 15-20 minutes and had it fixed in 15 minutes. I had recently moved into my home and never had a fixed lawn irrigation system. John checked the entire system. He made some needed adjustments. He found a small leak at one of the zone controls when that zone was running. He attempted to open it and it would not open. He stated that he did not want to break it; which would disable the entire system. I appreciated that!!!!!! He could have easily increased the cost of this service call. I firmly believe John had my best interest in mind. John gave me options on this situation; some of them would not make him money. Again; John had my best interest in mind. We made a plan for this. Innovative Irrigation Specialists has made a new customer. I am on their schedule to winterize my irrigation system. I would highly recommend them!!!!!!!!

I called Innovative Irrigation Specialists to fix our leaky sprinklers. One zone of sprinkler heads was constantly running so we had to go to the basement to shut off the water every time we watered our lawn. Plus, the water pressure was down on all the remaining zones - so our grass was dry and brown. John Sandberg came over because he was in the neighborhood installing another system. He found the problem right away. The valve for the leaky zone was left in the "on" position during our blowout last year (by another provider). We never would have figured that out because we never open up the green covers in the lawn. John was really knowledgeable about sprinklers. He said he's worked with them for 11 years. He fixed the leak in 2 minutes, set the schedule for even days, and walked around back to check all of the sprinkler heads. He did all of this in about 20 minutes. I wanted to pay him and he said there was no need - he was in the area. He just asked me to leave a comment on Angie's List. I promised him I would. By the way, I also decided to sign up for the yearly maintenance plan to have our sprinklers turned on in the spring and blown out in the fall. I highly recommend John with Innovative Irrigation Specialists. He's an honest man.

They were fabulous and did a wonderful job. They had to change the date a few times because of the weather but they stayed in communication with me the whole time about it. They were very prompt, professional, courteous, did exactly what they said they would, where here when they said, and did a good job.

I contacted John based on great reviews on Angie's list. I needed him to come out as soon as possible and he fit us in right away between larger jobs that he was doing in the area. He called in the morning letting me know when he was coming and then called later to let me know when he was running behind. John was professional, helpful, friendly and a very hard worker. You can tell that he cares about customer satisfaction and wants repeat customers. He did a great job and didn't make me feel bad that it wasn't a larger more profitable job. I will definitely call him again and recommend him to others. Definitely satisfied and happy that we stumbled across such a great guy who truly cares about his customers and business!

I contacted 3 or 4 sprinkler companies to get estimates. John came out on a Saturday morning in early to mid June, was extremely friendly and was a lot more thorough in his initial evaluation than any of the other companies. He talked through a high level layout of where the sprinklers would go, and tested the water pressure to make sure it was ok for a sprinkler system. As far as price goes Innovative Irrigation Specialists was right in line with the other 3 companies I checked with. John was upfront in saying how busy they were but thought they'd be able to do the install early July. He hit the date exactly and when he and the crew showed up they were extremely friendly, surprisingly well dressed for having to work in the dirt, and happy to answer any crazy questions I could throw at them. The entire install took about 4 hours and at the end I was given a fairly detailed walkthrough of how the console worked and how to adjust the sprinkler heads. Since the install we've had a couple of issues due to a faulty water meter that had nothing to do with any work Innovative Irrigation Specialists did, but John was extremely helpful in troubleshooting the issue. While the water meter was being replaced some junk in the pipes got loose and got into the sprinkler system causing an issue and John came out within an hour of calling him to get the system cleared up and working again, and also took a couple of minutes to show me what he did so I could probably do it next time if it happens. Nothing but the best customer service so far. I highly recommend these guys!

The installation went very well. They did the entire job in one day, installing 32 sprinkler heads in our front yard, 9 in our back yard and drip lines in 3 different gardens along with a moisture sensor system. We have 11 different zones. Everyone on the team was very nice and the guys all worked super hard. We did have an issue with a neighbor complaining about sprinkler heads and the property line. I called John and he came out in a day or two to move them - no complaints or questions, just let me know where you want them moved to to keep the peace. It was awesome. So far it's all good! Everything seems to be receiving the right amount of water and our yard looks better than it's ever looked. Plus I have a lot more time for other activities since I'm not tied to the hose.

I called for an appointment, describing the leak (big enough that the sump pump kicked in every 10 minutes unless the water to the system was shut off.) John asked for 15 minutes to check/rearrange his scheduling, and was able to get me in the NEXT day! He was able to fix my system in a relatively short amount of time, and described to me why the leak had occurred. There were two options for preventing a future leak - one we could try on our own, and if that didn't work for us, one he could come back to provide that would be a permanent solve. I had previously talked to two other potential servicers (neighborhood recos, not from Angie's list) - they didn't seem sure of what was causing the leak, and one suggested a really complicated solution that involved some excavation (yikes!) John was easily able to tell me what was causing the leak, fix it quickly and inexpensively, and coach me on the issue. I really appreciated the flexibility in getting us scheduled, the professionalism/integrity in providing the possible solutions, and the expertise. As always, Angie's list is the way to go! I will definitely use Innovative Irrigation Specialists for future needs, and would highly recommend.

The entire process went extremely well. John and his crew were punctual and very professional. The installation plan was covered in detail until I had no further questions. My install date had to be postponed due to weather, but John called me in a timely manner to reschedule for two days later. The whole crew showed up on time and finished the project in about 3 hours. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves and then they all helped tune the system and explain how it all operated. I would definitely recommend these guys to whoever asks me. We had a system installed a couple of years ago by another installer. From the beginning we had issues with the water pressure not being able to handle the number of sprinklers on each zone. John reviewed the installation and concluded there were 2 two many heads on each zone for the water pressure and water flow we were able to provide. He recommended removing the old heads, rezoning the whole lawn and providing the correct number of heads per zone. He was able to reuse the current sprinkler heads to help me save money on the upgrade. Him and his crew finished in record time with a "correctly installed system". Can't say enough good about the work, the crew and John. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new sprinkler system or to upgrade a system that just isn't doing what it is supposed to.

John and his team did great. From the first call through the end, the process was handled in a professional manner. John's presentation of his products and services were first class. Better than the others who bid on the job. And his price was right. John juggled schedules to fit us in earlier than scheduled. His team arrived and it was amazing to watch them work. An entire six-zone system installed, tested, and trained me in 3 hours! You won't be disappointed.

After many years of hand and sprinkler watering compounded by city water restrictions, I decided to automate my lawn watering. We contacted John of Innovative Irrigation based upon reviews on Angie's List. He was very prompt in getting back to us and setting up a visit to our home. During the visit he was very thorough and gave us a detailed explanation of the system he proposed for our yard. The price was reasonable for the scope (9 zones) of the work to be performed. We told him to go ahead and schedule the work and he was close to the time predicted for the work in spite of terrible weather conditions (very wet). John was present on site to direct his staff of about 8 people and the work took part of two days (due to a rainstorm on day one) to complete. When the system installation was finished, they took me thru the controller programming and sprinkler settings for my yard. The system completely covered all of the areas in my yard. Since the installation took place during a very wet time, it was difficult for them the smooth the ground around some of the sprinklers. John was willing to return at a later time with his full crew and spent about an hour tamping the ground and making certain that the system was running properly. We have been very satisfied with John and his staff. He always responds promptly to my calls and cares that we are satisfied with his work. I would not hesitate to recommend Innovative Irrigation for lawn sprinkler planning, installation and support.

John came out to turn our system on after our new home purchase. We have never owned a home with a sprinkler system and were looking for someone to give us a system tutorial as well. We decided on Innovative Irrigation after reading the other reviews. After looking at our ?dinosaur? of a sprinkler system John gave us the option to turn on as is or do some minor updates to make the system run more efficiently and more cost effective. We never felt as if he was selling us something we didn?t need. We decided to do the minor control panel updates and he was able to complete the install and test the system within an hour. Would definitely use Innovative Irrigation again.
