Innovative Irrigation Specialists

I found them on Angie's List. It has been very good. They did a nice job. They came on time, they were nice and friendly, and they set up everything just the way we wanted it. They had good ratings on Angie's List so I just picked them and they were fairly close by.

After my wife got a job out of state, we decided to rent out our home. However, we've spent the last several years establishing several large perennial gardens in both the front and back yards of our 1/2 acre property. We didn't want to see the gardens disappear while the house is being rented, and we didn't want to place the burden of watering on the new tenants. We decided to put in an irrigation system to ensure the health of the gardens, trees, and lawn. I contacted the top rated irrigation companies on Angie's List, and I received bids from six different companies. John was one of the few to return my call promptly, and he was able to get me on the schedule quickly for a quote (a couple of the other companies took nearly two weeks to actually show up to give a quote!). As soon as I met with John, he separated his level of service from all the other companies that gave quotes simply by checking our water pressure. Turns out, we had miserably bad water pressure at the house! He took extra steps to contact the city, revise the plan for the size of each zone, and found ways to creatively compensate for problems even before I had accepted his quote! NONE of the other bids I received took into account the water pressure, and it would have caused huge issues during the install and a jump in price if I had chosen the other companies. After providing the quote, John continued to check in with me to see if I had any other questions or concerns. He was always polite and patient, even though the other bid companies were dragging on the process for quite a while. I didn't get follow-up calls from the other companies. In the end, his price was right in line with the other top companies (even with the extra time and materials to compensate for the water pressure problem). Given his attentiveness and thoroughness throughout the bid process, it was an easy decision to go with Innovative Irrigation. We had several other construction projects happening around the same time to get the house ready to rent. John was able to rework his schedule to accommodate our timetable perfectly, and his crew was able to get the install completed in one very long day! This is no easy feat, since our 1/2 acre lot included 14 zones comprised of misters, rotors, and drip lines! They completed the installation, tested and programmed the system, and walked through the controls thoroughly with me. A couple months later, we had them come back to finish up a zone after construction was complete. In both cases, they left very little trace that they were even there! During construction in the following months, we severed some of their lines and one of the valve boxes froze up. In all cases, John quickly returned my calls, and he got us all fixed up quickly. He was also prompt to get the lines blown out this fall before the freezing temps set in. I am completely impressed with Innovative Irrigation Specialists! John and his crew have consistently exceeded my expectations with their knowledge, service, responsiveness, value, and the quality of their product. I have worked with hundreds of contractors over the years, and I would honestly put them in my top 5! You won't find a better irrigation company out there!

John was a great help. We purchased our first home late this fall, and he came to help us out...even though our sprinkler system was well on the way to freezing. We really appreciated this and will use Innovative Irrigation again!

I needed to winterize my sprinkling system. They were every professional on the phone. Followed up with me and was timely and provided the service I was looking for. The owner was very easy to work with. I definitely will use them again!

Everything from the initial estimate through the final install was handled very professionally. All necessary plumbing work was completed as scheduled and the attention to detail was great. Originally estimated installation date for the sprinklers did get pushed back by about a week but this was the very end of the installation season so they were trying to fit in jobs as the weather allowed. The crew arrived promptly and finished the work quickly and contentiously.

They were great. I used them in June or July to repair a valve and he also did my winter irrigation on my sprinkler system in November. That costed me $70.

They have always done a very thorough job. Since originally purchasing their Angie's List Deal, I have used Innovative Irrigation several times. They are my go-to sprinkler company. John has always been very responsive, making sure that he can fit my work into his schedule. He works until the job is done. I have been very pleased with their work.

John showed up right on time and was quick to get the work done. Very nice to deal with. Look forward to working him next year on some other projects.

Everything turned out really well. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The installation was quick and easy, and our grass and perennials looked much better as a result and I'm sure we use less water. They also sent us a reminder card when it was time to drain the system for winter. We will definitely hire them again when we decide to add a system to the back yard.

I called Innovative Irrigation Specialists and heard back from them very quickly. John came out the next day to meet with me and give an estimate. We decided to go with them because of my first impression with him and his great posts on Angies List. Within 2 weeks they came out and installed our irrigation system throughout our yard. They did a very nice job, cleaned up the mess, and went over everything with me including adjusting the heads and working the controller. I would highly recommend Innovative Irrigation to anybody that I know.

John and Innovative Irrigation Specialists were exceptionally responsive from the initial estimate for the project, to installation, to winterizing the system after it had been in operation for a few weeks. The installation in an established lawn was completed in one day, leaving surprisingly few scars in the lawn, despite the area covered. Most of these scars are already healed, and I have new grass growing in the few places that required more digging. I am impressed with the quality of the equipment that Innovative Irrigation installed, and with the extremely professional installation and service. I am excited to see the effect of this system on my lawn next summer. The price was very competitive and I am convinced that it was a great value.

I called late in the day on Friday and got a return call. They were very busy with winterizing sprinkler systems and was told there might not be time to get to me until early next week OCT 21-25. The owner called on Saturday morning and was at my house when he said he would shortly after noon. The owner said sprinkler systems was what his company was all about so he will be the one I will use from now on.

John was responsive from my first contact which was via his web site. He called promptly and set up an appointment to come provide the estimate. He is professional and thorough in explaining the system and parts he will use in the install. It did not take hime long to take measurements and come back with an estimate for me which came in a bit less than what I had expected. It was getting late in the year and I wanted to gain some irrigation benefits for new sod and seeding I was planning to do. John quickly worked me into his schedule. Prior to the installation you will need to have a plumber come and install a tie-in to your main water line. I have to comment on how professional and efficient John's plumber is! I've never seen a plumber RUN but this guy did! He had it installed very quickly and efficiently. The day of the sprinkler install came and the crew showed up right on time (7 AM) and worked steadily until near dark to complete the install - a three section project. My neighbor who is retired and was home to observe the work, commented to me how professional and efficient the crew was. I have to agree. I did have one problem with a leak after the install, which John came out and fixed as soon as I called. Thanks to others on Angies List for recommending John's company because that is how I found it. I am pleased to make the same recommendation to any of you who are interested in a top notch irrigation company for your project.

Went really well. John was very professional, polite, pleasant. He was very punctual. He tried hard to fit in my schedule. Will use his service again in the future.

We go through them for any further work on our sprinkling system. They didn't do any work, I called them out and the sprinkling system doesn't have quite pressure that my neighbors do. He looked at it and basically he did notice that and he did not charge me anything. He measured the pressure on our irrigation system and also measured the pressure at our neighbor's place, got the difference and he made some suggestions that was implemented took care of the problem. The suggestions that he gave me had to do with replacing some plumbing valves, the bolt and my son is a plumber so he did the work for me. He did fixed the problem in giving more pressure and he didn't charge at all. I would highly recommend them. He didn't quote me any price. He spent at least an hour here going through the sprinkler system and looking at my valves. He went downstairs and did that with no charge, so I decided to go with him and give him my business in the future. He was very punctual and he showed up when he said he would. I also used him for the blow-out irrigation system and they showed up punctual, they're very good and very professional.

John had actually provided me a quote on a system installation a few years ago and I made the mistake of selecting a lower cost provider. This was a huge mistake as it cost me more in the end due to having a poorly designed system which needed modification. John was on time, friendly, and very knowledgeable of what could be done to solve a dry spot in the backyard. His price was competitive and his service is superb. First rate service provider. Showed up when scheduled, very professional job and performed service in an efficient manner. On top of all that he's a really nice gentlemen. Would highly recommend!!!

John was on time, and because it was early am was nice enough to knock instead of ringing the doorbell. I had turned off the water inside, but he was happy to help me with that if I needed it. Our rain sensor was hard-wired so he accessed the system through panels in the yard. We have six zones and two access panels. John worked quickly and answered all my questions as he worked. He took a look at the controller to make sure the fittings were tight, showed me how to turn the system back on in the spring (because it seems easy enough to do myself), and offered to show me how to program my system in the spring if I wanted to unplug it for the winter. He was in and out in 30 minutes. Perfect from my point of view.

John, provided a very competitive quote from the start with quality Hunter products. I did quite a bit of internet research and Hunter got good reviews. John was very knowledgeable and professional. He and his crew showed up for the installation after some delays from rainy weather this spring. They worked quickly and efficiently. I was very satisfied with their quality of work. When they were done, the foreman walked me through how the system worked. John followed up after a few days to make sure everything was running okay. Overall I'm very happy with Innovative Irrigation and would recommend their services for sprinkler installation.
