We spoke with Tom about some mold concerns we had in our basement renovation and he gave a lot of helpful advice on the phone on how we could clean ourselves. I have always been concerned about mold companies charging high prices and using scare tactics to make money --so I very refreshing to find someone honest and with no pressure to do unnecessary tests and charges! Would definitely recommend for your mold and cleaning needs!

Tom, the owner of the company, was punctual, personable, and professional. First and foremost, in this day and age that carries it weight in salt itself. Tom took the time to walk through all areas of our home and thoroughly understand all aspects of moisture in our basement as well as taking into account our future plans to remodel. He laid out for me the steps to take in correcting the issues we have and was very encouraging that I would be able to tackle the projects myself even though his company does perform remediation services. I did pay his fee to have him come and perform this assessment for me, but it was worth every penny to walk away from our meeting being confident that I had a good understanding of what would need to be done. Additionally, should I attempt the work myself and get in over my head, Tom also assured me that I could contact him at a later time and the initial fee would be credited toward future work. What can I say? A good, honest, trustworthy company. A+

Frank arrived the next day to clean up the area. He also repaired a hole in the dryer vent which was a factor and gave us advice on how to keep the area dry.

I called Tom and told him I thought I may have some mold in the basement. After asking me to explain it more he told me that I shouldn't have to worry about such a small amount and recommended a way for me to treat it myself. It's refreshing to see a businessperson who is so honest and is willing to help you out both with the issue at hand as well as not spending money unnecessarily. If I ever have any other issues, I'll call Tom first!

I called and spoke to Tom for information on some mold I found in my basement. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with his assessment of my issue. Not only did he provide expert advice on how I could investigate/fix the issue myself, he was considerate of the scale of my issue and that paying for ab in-person assessment from him might not be necessary.

I called Tom and described the situation. He immediately diagnosed the problem. Tom told me what I needed to do to see if the problem was serious enough to need his services. He expressed that he did not want to charge me for something that might easily be fixed by me. I wanted to make sure because I have a child with asthma and allergies, so I asked him to come over anyway for his basic service fee. Tom came over within an hour and checked it out. He was correct in his summation over the phone. He told me what products to get and the steps to take which cost about $20. Tom's knowledge and expertise really helped lower my concerns. This kind of honesty and good business is so refreshing and appreciated! I highly recommend Tom and his company.

Went perfectly. Tom was courteous, professional, and incredibly knowledgable. He explained everything in detail to our satisfaction. The tech was on time, thorough, and professional. The work was in our attic. Would recommend, and use again if we needed to, but hopefully not!

I called Tom for assistance with mold growth in my home. He walked me through the causes and how to remediate it myself. Tom's mold guy was at the house when promised (another wow, to the minute), was very professional, got the job done and he and the mold were gone in a matter of hours.

Tom didn't try to sell me anything. He gave me very good advice, and wished me luck. I'll definitely pass Tom's name and number along to family and friends, and there's a good chance I'll hire him for this job if I'm not able to complete it myself.

My wife called Tom because she was concerned about moisture and mold in our basement, and we have asthma and allergies in our family. After describing our concerns on the phone with Tom, he told her he did not feel like we had a serious issue, but he would come out and take a look. Tom arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and friendly. After looking at our basement, he felt that we would be able to handle the issue on our own and did not need to spend the money to have him do it. He even gave us some pointers and suggestions on how to safely remove the existing mold. At my wife's urging, he agreed to do an air quality test and we decided to see the results of that test before moving forward. I would definitely hire Tom. He was very honest about the scope of our project, and did not try to sell us anything he did not feel that we needed.

The meeting went extremely well. Tom was able to instantly confirm that the mold growth was a minor problem due to a one time problem in the ventilation system. He recommended several products to clear up the issue for only a few dollars. Different handymen had also suggested a variety of ideas to make sure the problem did not come back and he was able to help me evaluate those ideas based on the true cause of the problem and not just someone else's desire to make money off of the situation.

Mark and Frank appeared promptly on the agreed-upon day. They each went to work in a specified area. Throughout the day, they explained the procedures as well as what we would do after they had finished. Frank and Mark are living encyclopedias of information about mold, and this was not only fascinating but a great help in our understanding of the issues. An added bonus: they brought their delightful senses of humor with them. Ultimately, Mark and Frank went beyond our expectations in their respect of and attention to our house. It feels like a new beginning.

We will not be using Tom for this project but greatly appreciate his expertise and will use on future projects if necessary . Nice job Tom and thanks for all of your expertise

Let me state up front that we didn't have to use this service because fortunately we were able to address our mold problem ourselves with the help of Tom who walked me through what we needed to do. Here's what happened: I emailed Certified Mold Inspection & Remediation Services with pictures of our small mold problem: mold on a small section of baseboard in a bedroom. Tom emailed me back and asked me to call to discuss. We discussed the situation and he asked me several questions about the room and the humidity level in it and if there was any furniture that usually sat in front of that part of the baseboard. His instinct was that the mold was limited to the baseboard and not coming from within the wall. He was right. In a nutshell, Tom saved us a lot of money. And that was his primary concern. Should we have bigger mold issues in the future we wouldn't hesitate to call Tom.

Project is not completed yet but he is great to work with.

They could complete the job to make things better. They seem to be competitive in there pricing and what they have to offer. He came out and did a nice job. We talked about what needed to be done. My problem was he didn't do the job himself. This person seem well qualified to do the work. Tom came out and discussed a problem I had with me but I told them I could smell it and wasn't sure what it was. He said that he couldn't see any problem. I tore of more sheet rock and found some mold. I found more mold after that in the hardware.

Prior to Tom coming out to take the air quality samples, we had a few conversations over the phone. During these phone conversations I explained that my tenants suspected a mold issue due to a shoe they had found in a back closet with mold on it and that I had already conducted an initial air sample test myself that produced results that I needed verified. He made a couple recommendations one of which was to conduct another air quality sample myself instead of having him come out to do the test. I appreciate Tom's honesty and his willingness to share cheaper alternative options with his potential clients even if it means he could miss out on a job. I chose not to follow his recommendation and had him come out to inspect the property himself instead. He arrived on time for the appointment and he did a nice job of explaining the testing process and what he was looking for. He conducted the tests on a Tuesday and I had the results by Friday, at which time he explained in an email what the results were and what he recommended for next steps (clean and sanitize duct work). Overall I was pleased with Tom's service. However, I did downgrade his responsiveness score as I felt the entire process was delayed a bit due to Tom being on vacation multiple times and not having a backup. I was not dealing with an emergency situation so being delayed a week or so wasn't a big deal but I thought it would be worth mentioning. I will definitely use Tom again if I have another mold situation.

He was super patient and very kind plus informative. I much appreciate his time even though he made nothing from it. IF I ever have an issue in future, he will be my first call. I would recommend anyone to call him.

The inspection and evaluation process was complete and very informative. A very complete discussion of the causes and probable remedies was offered. The remediation work required was much more than originally projected. As they proceeded I was very involved in the ongoing evaluation and the discussion of how much added work was needed. The workers were very clear in their explanation of what we saw and what needed to be done. During the initial work the workers spent a little too much time chit - chatting with me before getting down to the work. As it turned out there was much more work required than originally projected, so the chat time became an issue.My fault, as well as theirs. The second day of work was much more focused I am satisfied with the overall results and quality of work. The work they did was clearly explained and my next steps for reconstruction were clearly explained. They gave me sound advice on what materials I could safely re-use. I am very confident in the advice I got from these folks and satisfied with the quality of work done. The cost was satisfactory.I would recommend these folks for mold remediation work to others.

Even though Tom had just returned from vacation and he had a lot of calls, he contacted me very quickly. He explained my options, and helped me determine I can probably do the work myself. He was patient and answered all my questions. He offered up his expertise for free, and told me what to buy, where to get it, and how to use it. Very professional, and would definitely use him if I'm unable to complete the work myself.
