Very well. Tom was punctual, responsive, competent, and good at explaining what was wrong and what would need to be done to fix the problem. He seems to be a very nice guy with good integrity. It was a while ago (this summer), but I believe he came the very next day after I contacted him, right before work, so it was very convenient for us. He provided a detailed, written estimate and proposal of the work to be done (all for free). We would have used his services except that later, more intrusive investigation into our walls revealed that we needed waterproofing as well. We were able to find a company that could do all of that work for us in one shot.

He explained that I did not actually have mold growing in basement. Musty smell was caused by periodic water in basement through two basement windows that made some items wet. He explained that this was really a drainage problem and offered suggestions on ways to correct that. He did not ask for any money and declined my offer to pay him for his time.

This is a small one man company that knows his business and is very fair in pricing. I certainly expected to pay something even though my problem was simple.

Tom was on time, professional, courteous, and friendly. He informed me that the fungus in my bathroom was most likely a moisture issue from my children spilling water on the floor and that future problems could be prevented with adequate cauking. He treated the area already affected along with a second bathroom. He also gave me tips on removing mold myself. He was knowledgeable and didn't use any "scare tactics" to make me believe that the problem could been part of a bigger issue that could be throughout my house. I have a new house, and was concerned that it may be too "air-tight" and was thus holding in moisture. Tom explained that this was not the case and that measures were already in place to prevent such a scenario. He could have easily led me in the other direction, leading to unnecessary costs and destruction of my home. What he charged for this service was beyond reasonable. I would absolutely recommend him and use him again if I need to.

In the end, Tom refused to be paid for his work and information--and I would have been happy to pay him as he well deserved it. If you have a need for any of the services this company provides, do not hesitate to call. This is one fine operation. And no, I'm not related! I'm just very, very impressed.

Tom was extremely helpful and we felt assured that we did not need mold removal. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is concerned about mold in their house.

TOM WAS VERY HELPFUL AS HE EXPLAINED NOT ONLY WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO TO REMOVE THE MOLD, BUT ALSO WAYS IN WHICH WE COULD PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. TOM SPENT AN HOUR LOOKING FOR VISIBLE SIGNS OF MOLD. HIS PROFESSIONAL ASSESSMENT WAS FREE OF JARGON AND EASY TO COMPREHEND. WHAT I LIKED WAS THAT HE TOOK A CONSERVATIVE APPROACH TO THE MOLD SITUATION AND DIDN'T TRY TO 'SELL' ANYTHING NOT NEEDED. HE EVEN PRESENTED SOLUTIONS THAT I COULD DO MYSELF, GAVE ME INFORMATION FOR THE EPA MOLD RE-MEDIATION BOOKLET, AND RECOMMENDED STEPS TO TAKE TO PREVENT FURTHER WATER INTRUSION. HIS ESTIMATE FOR REMOVING THE MOLD WAS VERY REASONABLY PRICED AND HE CLEARLY SPECIFIED EXACTLY WHAT WAS INCLUDED AND WHAT WAS NOT. UNLIKE ANOTHER MOLD COMPANY I WORKED WITH IN THE PAST, TOM & CERTIFIED MOLD ARE DEDICATED TO FINDING SOLUTIONS FOR CUSTOMERS, NOT GOUGING THEM. HOW REFRESHING TO FIND SUCH AN EMPHASIS ON INTEGRITY AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS. MY EXPERIENCE WAS EXTREMELY POSITIVE, AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

TOM & HIS COWORKERS ARE EXTREMELY COMPETENT & PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATORS; CLEARLY EXPLAINING WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY. CLEAN-UP WAS VERY THOROUGH. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

HE ALLOWED ME TO ACCOMPANY HIM AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTION I HAD. HE WAS FRIENDLY AND CORDIAL AND OFFERED EXCELLENT INSIGHTS INTO WHAT MIGHT BE A GOOD COURSE OF ACTION TO TAKE. HE OFFERED A FAIR ESTIMATE AND WE HIRED HIM. HE ARRIVED ONLY TO FIND THAT THE CONDITION WAS WORSE THAN EXPECTED BUT HE WENT THE EXTRA MILE AND DID NOT CHARGE US OVER AND ABOVE HIS ORIGINAL PROPOSAL. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND LEFT ON THE MOLD REMOVAL AND CLEAN-UP. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOM FOR ANY MOLD INSPECTION OR REMOVAL!

TOM DID AN EXCELLENT JOB CLEANING UP A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF MOLD IN MY CRAWL SPACE. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME, FINISHED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE, AND SEEMED VERY FAIR AND HONEST. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY MOLD INSPECTION OR REMOVAL.
