I had a wet, musty smell in a small access area in my wall. A leaky faucet one month prior was the culprit. It was determined that I did not have a mold issue. The area needed to be ventilated. The inspector was very professional and did not try to find an issue or try to sell me any unnecessary services. I would hire them again in the future.

Tom referred me to another provider on Angie's List who can help me identify the source of the moisture, and get the problem resolved. That reference answered right away and is coming over today. I would use Tom's services again in a minute. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

Provided prompt and extremely helpful advice over the phone about how to remove the mold ourselves from our crawl space in the basement. Was very well informed about the types of mold and relied on solid source of information about health impacts (CDC). Was able to reassure us to not get overly afraid about the health impacts and at the same time provide effective step by step instructions on its safe removal. I would definitely call them first if we have any mold problem in our living areas, or places where we can't do it ourselves.

Information and recommendations to prevent future damage were very helpful. Work was done efficiently and professionally. Frank took care not to track in or disrupt any of the surrounding area. Overall, given the problem, it was a very satisfactory process.

Tom, told me to run my dehumidifier in my basement full time so that the humidity stays around 45%. He would normally charge around $200.00 if he had to come out to my house to do the assessment. He gave me the assurance that I was looking for without any charge. If my situation changes, I will be asking Tom to come out to my house for further evaluation. I strongly suggest that you call Tom for your mold assessment services.

Went well; however, mold had extended further along the wall than was estimated so the cost was considerably more than the initial calculation. Final outcome has been excellent and the mold problem totally resolved.

My rental property has some mold issues reported by the tenant. I contacted Tom via email and left a VM. He went to my property in 2 days after my VM. Then immediately he sent me a report back and detailed out the problems with the mold and told me that there is no need for further professional cleanups. I spoke with Tom today and he gave me advice about cleaning up after a water leak in my refridgerator's water line. Because my mold situation was small he was able to save me a lot of money and a service call by giving me instruction on clean up. He told me what to buy, where to get it, how much to use and how to apply. Thanks Tom, you saved me $600 plus dollars!

Tom was very knowledgeable and helpful in determining the source of mold on a kneel in our basement. He gave me great recommendations as to how I could test for the mold source myself which saved me hundreds of dollars. He didn't end up coming to do testing and remediation as I found the source and fixed myself but I will definately contact him again in the future should the need arise...But hopefully I won't need to do that.

I found a mold spot on the ceiling of my kitchen and Certified came out the next morning from my panicked call. By that Friday a technician came out and clean out the part of my ceiling and could tell me where the leak (which caused the mold) came from. I was very thankful with their knowledge and efficiency!

We were closing on our house on a Tuesday morning. We knew there was mold issue but didn't know how extensive. Before we were to move into the house we wanted the mold removed. On that same Tuesday afternoon Tom was over at the house inspecting the extent of the mold. He gave us a quote on the spot. By that evening he had a 3 page job summary typed out detailing out what the expectations were and what they were to tackle. He was able to have Frank start on Wednesday. Usually we would have gotten multiple reviews but with the number of Angie List reviews, we didn't think we could miss. We wanted the job done right. Frank is more than someone who gets the job done. In all four areas of mold, Frank was interested in cleaning up the mold and helping figure out why it happened. The most troublesome area we had four separate water intrusion issues all contributing to the mold. As we brought in experts to give us quotes and help solve the problems Frank was able to speak "construction" language and help sort through what was professionally done vs. the weekend warrior. When asked he was able to translate what was going on and point out the problems he saw. Without Frank's help we would not have solved all of the issues and we would have had further water in our house this Fall and Winter. Regarding the quality of the work, the clische "top-shelf" is appropriate. Frank was detailed and efficient. He didn't remove the entire wall, just the bottom 18" where there were issues. He had nice clean straight lines on what was removed. When Frank was done, the job site was clean with ALL the waste removed. He had painted an anti-fungicide paint on the walls, and much of the woodwork that was in the area of the mold (even took out 3 dead mice that were in the wall). The job was finished by Friday afternoon. Frank waited until I was able to get home from work and walked me through everything he did, even what we should watch out for so it doesn't happen again. He went through the next steps we should do with regard to the carpet, duct cleaning, and what type of furnace filters we should be buying. On Saturday we got a final report from Tom documenting what the mold issues were, what they did to resolve and how the issues compared to the initial work order. On a personal level, Frank is great. Very professional. Worked hard to make the house safe. and Very friendly. On Saturday when we went back to the house, our kids were sad that Frank was gone and wasn't going to be back. We can't recommend Frank (and Tom) enough.

The service was really good. He arrived on time, was very professinal and extremely knoweldgeable. He not only performed the mold/air quality testing but provided numerous insights about other steps I could take if I was concerned about mold in my home. He also provided me with resources I could look at online to learn more about mold in homes. THe service was performed quickly and the results were sent over promotly. Overall a great experience!

WOW! I was blown away with the fact that Tom talked to me for over 20 minutes and told me exactly what to do and where to get the supplies needed in order to take care of my mold problem myself. He said, "Do you want to know how to do it yourself and save a lot of money?" He saved me a ton of money and could have totally charged me for his consultation if he wanted to make money off of me. Analysis/inspection was completed. Information, explanations, and comparisons were given to aid in the understanding of the causes of moisture buildup and techniques for prevention of said buildup in the future. Pamphlets and suggested stores were given for advised self-remediation.

Tom answered my call and talked through the issue with me. He walked me through how to resolve the issue over the phone. I would definitely use him again!
