It was great working with Peak. Everyone was very professional and informative. The sales representative came out to our home to go over our options of replacing our units. He made sure to inform us of any additional costs related to upgrading our unit to a high efficiency unit. Once we made our decision, the installers were able to come out within a day or two. The installers were extremely polite, and efficient. They had both units installed in one day. They removed the old units, and hauled them away. They also cleaned up after themselves including vacuuming the area around the furnace. I would call Peak in the future.

I have used them before and will use them again.

I was a little disappointed because I thought their salesperson over promised a little bit one of their products that they were not as familiar with, or the installers were not. And he was sure that it would not be a problem, but it was because they were not familiar with it. And that was some work they had to do, but the furnace they put in was fine, I thought they did fine.

I have called on Peak a couple of times over the years and they've given me GREAT service, but my most recent experience was so wonderful I have to complement them on it. My furnance recently stopped workng on the coldest day of the winter so far. I called Peak after-hours and got a hold of their on-call service tech. He helped me trouble shoot the problem over the phone--a blown fuse. I trip to the hardware store and $4 later my house was warm again! His over-the-phone diagnosis saved me an expensive service call and saved the service tech time away from his own family. In the process, Peak earned my continued loyalty. If you live in the Carver Co. area, these people are well worth your consideration.

I have used their services a few times. I thought they were fair. They had a good price. I would use them again in the future.

They arrived promptly, listened courteously to the problem, repaired the areas in question and went over it with me before leaving. We have used Peak and, before that, the company they replaced, for over 25 years for all of our HVAC needs. They have been responsive, prompt, reliable and competitively priced. I would highly recommend them.

I used to work as real estate assistant for couple other real estate agents. They had Peak heating in their preferred list. They were recommended by others. They were pretty good. They fixed the problem and they didn't put in the whole new furnace. They just replaced the broken parts because my pilot lights had gone out and they figured out what was wrong. They repaired the minor parts and didn't try to up sell me a brand new furnace. They were so efficient that I don't need to have whole lot of interaction with them. I called them one day and they were here the next. They fixed it right away. My contract with them was minimal because they deliver their promises. I think their pricing was good.

I like the people that come to do the service. They are always on time.

We had a small power outage that ultimately caused our furnace to stop. Our house was already sitting at 52 degrees and we were heading out of town that night so we needed to get it serviced right away. They sent over a technician within hours and immediately he diagnosed the problem. Since it was such a minor issue he fixed it without any additional charge and showed us how to fix it in the future. In addition to the furnace he gave us maintenance tips on our furnace and air exchanger - going above and beyond what he was asked to do.

I have been using them for almost a year now. Their employees are very respectful, hardworking and very good.

Service Tech did a very good job. He is friendly and professional. Good around dogs. He explains the system, adjustments, maintenance, etc.

I recently purchased a home that was about 1yr old and needed to have the HVAC system checked for proper operation. I also had questions about the air exchanger operation and maintenance. The service technician, Chad, was VERY professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. My expectations were exceeded.

We live in a town house and several other owners had their heating and air systems installed at the same time, and they gave us a discount. The crew was professional and very knowledgeable. They were timely, came when they said they would, and finished on time as well. They cleaned up very nicely.

The technician called on his way over and arrived at the beginning of the 2 hour time window given. The technician performed the service and then took time to explain what he had done and found and also instructed me on how to use the equipment more efficiently.

Our furnace blower failed and we had Peak Heating & Cooling come out to make needed repairs. Called them around 8 a.m. and they had someone here by 10 a.m. This was on March 6th and it was a cold day. It only took Andy about an hour to replace the blower motor and get us warmed up.

The representative was prompt and identified the problem quickly. He made the fix, then spent some additional time with us, giving us tips on how to keep both the heating and cooling system running properly. Was very friendly and helpful.

Next day service, polite technician, arrived during time specified.

The company representative - Steve - was very prompt for the initial call for an estimate. Steve gave me a fair price (confirmed by three other estimates that I received), and Peak was able to install the new equipment quickly, efficiently, and did a great job with no hassle to the family. I would highly recommend using Peak Heating & Cooling to anyone that is in need of HVAC work.

I cancelled the service request for three reasons. First, because the representative told me that someone could come out later in the afternoon but she was not very reassuring. Secondly, the company did not have any endorsements in Angie s List (and I regret having to add the first knock). Finally, the company did not have a Web site which makes it hard for me to visualize who I m doing business with and whether or not they are professional and organized. When I called back to cancel because I found a company that could reassure me that I would have a resolution today, the Peak Heating & Cooling representative was short.

ESTIMATOR WAS ON TIME AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. ESTIMATE WAS SECOND LOWEST, I CHOSE MERIT BECAUSE OF ANGIE'S LIST RATING AND BECAUSE OF SUPERIOR EQUIPMENT. INSTALLATION WAS VERY QUICK. ONLY TOOK 6-7 HOURS. WORK WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY AND VERY NEAT. MERIT ALSO PROCESSED MY TWO REBATES AND I RECEIVED THEM WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF INSTALLATION. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY USE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.

THE SERVICE PERSON ACTUALLY ARRIVED OVER AN HOUR PRIOR TO THE TIME FRAME QUOTED OVER THE PHONE. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF THEY ARRIVED DURING THE PROPER TIME. I DID SEE THAT MERIT HAD CALLED OUR HOME THE DAY BEFORE ON CALLER ID, BUT THEY DID NOT LEAVE ANY MESSAGE. HE WAS AT THE HOME FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 MINUTES. WE WERE CHARGED A SERVICE FEE OF $85 AND A LABOR FEE OF $65, WHICH SEEMED HIGH. USUALLY, THE SERVICE FEE WILL COVER THE FIRST 15 TO 30 MINUTES OF WORK IF IT IS A QUICK JOB. THE PART WAS AROUND $30. I DID CALL ANOTHER LOCAL SERVICE COMPANY AND THERE RATES WERE MUCH BETTER. I WILL CALL ON THEM FOR FUTURE REPAIRS OR INSTALLATIONS.

THE COST WAS COMPETITIVE WITH OTHER BIDS. IN FACT IT WAS LESS EXPENSIVE. I WAS MOST IMPRESSED BY THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT HAD TO BE DONE FOR SUCH AN INTRUSIVE PROJECT. THEY WERE GOOD ABOUT COMING BACK TO TAKE CARE OF A PROBLEM.
