They were very quick and professional and did exactly as we had discussed.

We have used them 5+ years for this service. It went well - they were on time and performed the work needed.

We had a few problems last year with our pump and they were great about helping us figure it out. They are great about fixing anything that needs repairs.

The system they installed is very reliable and easy to use. They did not over promised and the system works great. Their scheduling process is excellent and they are flexible to meet my times. We had to reschedule last time because I was going out of town and they were able to do this on short notice.

It went as expected. The staff at Clearwater Irrigation are extremely professional. They show up on time, they communicate professionally and are always responsive. I have been working with Steve for several years. He helped us repair our the sprinkler system in our first house (installed by the previous owners - by themselves). He did a fabulous job designing and installing an irrigation system in our second house, and now is back to helping us repair another system that was installed by the previous owner in our third house. I would not go to anyone else!

Steve and the staff at Clearwater did an excellent job installing our new irrigation system. He was extremely responsive and flexible. I had obtained multiple bids to determine if I needed an entirely new system or if an old, unused one could be salvaged. All the other providers jumped to the conclusion that a new system was needed. Although a new system was ultimately needed, Steve took the time to trouble-shoot and show me why - including having a plumber do the initial hookup to test the old lines. This didn't cost any more overall and gave me peace of mind that I wasn't throwing away money unnecessarily. I'm looking forward to contuining to work with them for winterization and spring set-ups. Steve had provided a quotation a year or so earlier and we ended up not doing the project then, but we thought he was professional and asked for him to re-bid. He was very responsive and came out. He noted that last time he bid, he told us we must have 12 gallons per minute at 60 psi of pressure to have an irrigation system. We are on a well, so this time, since we are going with it, I called the local well specialist and he came out and tested the well. I did not have 12 gpm @ 60 psi. So he put in a new well pump - same size as before - just newer. $3600. I contacted Steve again and he came back out to review the plan. That is when I pointed out the septic system. When you have a well, you often have a septic system. In my septic system, I have a lift station in the backyard with a line that runs from the lift station to the drain field in the side yard. Steve was concerned. I called a septic company and they told me the line is 18-24" under ground. I sent a message to Steve about this. Then I got a message addressed to John (not my name) - here it is - copied directly from my Email. John, When our company had originally bid your job I was unaware of the lift station and the pipe between the two septic tanks. Not being able to positively identify where the line is creates a problem for our company. Working under this condition is prohibited. It endangers our workers as well as it effects our underground insurance coverage's. If we were to damage your septic system we are not covered under the terms of our insurance policy. This is a risk that Clearwater Irrigation is not willing to take. For these reasons, Clearwater Irrigation will not be able to provide you with an irrigation system as we had discussed. I am truly sorry that we cannot help you. -----End---- In the end, I found someone that had no problem with the septic line - they just hand dug until they found it - 24" underground. They also told me I would not have needed 12 gpm @ 60 psi as they design for 10 gpm. I have confirmed these numbers with other irrigation suppliers. This is what bothered me the most - I wasted $3600 on a new well pump because Steve told me I needed it and then he bailed out on me.

It was great. The timeliness of how they got back to me, and got me on the schedule stood out to me. It was very easy to work with them. They're super nice.

Clearwater showed up on time, service was friendly and prompt. The site person went and checked all heads and replaced those necessary. Replacement went well and sprinklers coverage was set. One week later I had to adjust most of the heads due to improper coverage, not a big deal. The major issue I had was the automated telephone answering service and trying to pay my bill. It was very difficult to get a hold of anyone and hence made paying the bill difficult. The return phone calls were during inappropriate times of day ie. evenings and weekends which I am not a big fan of. We eventually got things settled out. Update: Since "the customer" is being placed at fault, I thought the situation should be clarified based on the response to my initial post. I contacted the receptionist the week of September 3rd, within 7 days after the work was performed, in order to make payment. The receptionist alerted me that she was not able to take payments over the phone. She said that she would have Steve return my call, as he could take my payment over the phone. I never received a call back from Steve until 3 weeks later, which is when I started to receive the barrage of phone calls during evening and weekend hours. I was out of town for business when the calls started. When I returned, a check was immediately placed in the mail on 10/1/12. So it is clear, the bill would have been paid in full within 7 days if the receptionist had the ability to take payment and / or Steve would have returned my initial call.

I called 3 local irrigation companies to get project bids. I selected Clearwater Irrigation. Steve (owner) was quick to respond after my initial call for an estimate. He called back within 24 hours to schedule a site visit. He was flexible to meet me on the weekend.He was prepared with technical information (brochures), provided "show and tell" samples of sprinkler heads, valves, tubing, and controller of his typical equipment. We walked the site perimeter and he explained his approach to his installation process. After walking the site and getting my feedback, he provided a written estimate. He explained the proposal (number of heads, zones, valves, location of controller, etc.). After reviewing the other bids, though he was not the cheapest, I went with Steve's company. Of the three bids, he was the most thorough and I thought he could provide the service and quality I was looking for. After I told him he had the job, he quickly arranged for a plumber to do the pre-installation work. He called a few more times confirming the date and time. On the day of the installation, his crew arrived as scheduled. We again walked the perimeter and he & site foreman explained the installation steps (at my request). His crew was professional, courteous, and worked h****** the job. There were some areas on the lawn where the sod had been damaged during the tube burying process. Steve's crew smooth the rough areas and applied lawn seed. Within a week, Steve followed up with a phone call. I did have additional questions about the controller and he talked me through another program setting. The system has be operating for about 3 weeks now without any issues. I'm pleased with the project. The project met my expectations.

The overall experience was positive. Workers were friendly and informative. The work was done quickly and at a fair price. Our irrigation system is sourced from a pond and Clearwater had no issues with the shut down.

Every time I call Steve and Clearwater he is VERY responsive and came out to see our job right away. He has great suggestions for how to handle the problem and it is always at great price. He makes you feel like your his only customer!!! In would highly recommend Steve for any sprinkler job.

Steve did an excellent job of talking me through the entire process. There are many ways to approach an irrigation project and I believe he found the most cost effective way of handling mine while at the same time ensuring the system would be effective. Steve showed up on time for our initial meeting, came prepared and got back to me promptly with a final estimate. My neighbor had used Steve's company earlier in the year so I had a chance to observe the process. I decided to go with Clearwater even though I might have saved a few hundred dollars with someone else. The installation took one day, as promised. The crew was very professional and even re-seeded a few areas. Steve personally came back a few days later to make a few adjustments (without me calling him) and to make sure we understood how to use the system. The bottom line is that the system works as anticipated. Very easy to understand controls.
