They are alway competitive with prices. The men our very nice and allow my kid to watch him since he likes trucks.

I am finally fed up. I pay Waste Management an additional fee to pick up my yard waste. Every Fall and Spring it is a nightmare. Last week they took my leaves away, but they took the yard waste container too! When I called customer service the rep said she could not explain why they had taken my container, but they'd have a replacement sent out the following week. I had to bag up all of my leaves and carry them down a long driveway one-by-one. When they came for pick up this week, they dropped off the new yard container, but didn't take the 10 bags of leaves that were sitting there!! So, I had to haul all of the bags back up my long driveway, load them in my car, and take them to the compost site myself! I have called 3 times asking to speak with a customer service manager and have had no response. The last rep I spoke with on the phone could not locate a manager to discuss my situation, but instead offered to transfer me to a "residential specialist". When I asked what a "residential specialist" was, she informed me they are the people who cancel service. I think I'll take that as a sign and cancel my service!

Timely, professional trash pickup. Great job of accommodating out travel schedule when service is suspended. Readily available on phone.

We have been fighting with them for about 3 weeks to get them to come and pick up the units. Up until then, they were okay. We called them about 6 or 7 times and they finally said, "Yes, we will be here today & they finally came out today. When they perform the service they do it very, very well but, when you call them up to get something done, it doesn't get done.

They do a good job. We like the recycling at the curb and the extra bin is great. They are very good at notifying us if garbage day is delayed a day by a holiday or weather, by making automated call reminders. We can pay online and automatically with them, which is a huge time saver.

I am billed $59.89 every three months for one 64 gallon trash and 2 64 gallon recycling containers.

Pickup is okay. Billing is terrible and inaccurate. Between the regular three month billing cycle we receive numerous small bills. Customer Service tells us these are for "extra bags" of which we have no knowledge. These bills range from $3 to $20. Waste Management refused to combine these questionable charges with my regular bill which would, at least, eliminate some of the annoyance.

I checked four companies, Waste Management was the most expensive (but not by much) but they also were the most professional. The dumpster was dropped off on time and placed exactly where I wanted it (in a very hard to get to spot, overhead power lines), boards were placed to protect the driveway. The dumpster was also picked up on time. Everyone I talked to knew their job, had the right answers, and were very professional. Two of the other companies had "get back to me" with an answer, one never did.

We've had consistent, good service from Waste Management.

I've been very happy with Waste Management. They have a nice on-line billing system that allows you to manage your payments and even set up automatic payments, which I like. I like their single-sort recycling cart (versus our old provider's small bin that required sorting). WM has been very reliable, and I have no complaints. Their customer service, when I've needed to call, has also been very professional. Our price has gone from about $53 for 3 months in April 2005 to $65 for 3 months in October 2006, which is negative, but I'm guessing other providers have had similar increases due to fuel costs.

Collection is timely and if they drop something, they pick it up. We receive notification, if there is a holiday and delivery will be delayed a day.

WM is priced competitively and offers some nice options - automatic electronic payments, all-in-one recycling, and a container for ward waste.

The office was friendly and polite and scheduling and arranging for the payment was painless. I did find out that there were definitely cheaper companies out there who provided the same service, however. Another outfit brought me another same-size Dumpster for approx. $200 less this past weekend.

I have been very happy with Waste Management. They have a large bin for recyclables which is much more convenient than the small tubs. Also, earlier this year there was confusion over whether a day was a holiday or not. No one in my neighborhood put out their trash until the next day (assuming it was a holiday). It was not, but because it was obvious that so many people were confused they did come back the next day to pick up anyway and then left a note on the bins saying that it hadn't been a holiday. Ever since that day, they now call and leave a message when there's a possible holiday week to tell you explicitly if you're affected or not. I really like that feature! Now I don't worry about holidays any more.

Our local company was bought by Waste Management and I have to admit that I loved their BIG recyclable container. Their billing was awful and they never could get it right. I went with another provider after they cancelled my service (without informing me) for a $10 charge I did not pay while I waited for them to correct the billing. The pickup was fine. The billing and canceling the service for such a small outstanding balance will make sure I never spend my money with this company again. I hired another small family run business to replace this provider.

Bad experience with another service led me to call WM. Customer service was prompt, informative and very customer oriented. Service is being performed as promised. Use of recyclables cart for biweekly pickup preferred over use of small bin. First invoice a little confusing but promptly explained by customer service. Price is competitive but not substantially different than others. Like their flexibility in suspending service when on vacation.

THE PEOPLE AT WASTE MANAGEMENT HAVE BEEN FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WHEN I'VE SPOKEN WITH THEM. THEY HAVE THE SINGLE CONTAINER RECYCLING -GOOD OR BAD DEPENDING ON WHO YOU ASK. THEY PRICE HAS GONE UP A BIT DUE TO FUEL COST, BUT I'M SURE THAT'S TRUE WITH OTHER COMPANIES AS WELL.

NO PROBLEMS WITH THEIR SERVICE.

THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND PICK UP EXACTLY WHEN I NEEDED THEM TO.

GOT US A LARGER RECYCLE BIN WHEN THEY SWITCHED TO EVERY OTHER WEEK PICKUP. WE STILL SOMETIMES EXCEED THE 96 GAL. BIN FOR RECYCLING. THEY CAME BACK ONCE WHEN WE DIDN'T HAVE BIN OUT IN TIME.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO MY WORST ENEMY
