+ -1 moreWe selected this company based on Angie's List ratings. The move was easy to schedule for our date. Jake & Landon arrived on time and were very efficient and careful. They unloaded everything completely, and set up our bed and cleaned up completely b4 departing. They were helpful, courteous and respectful throughout the process. We were pleased w/ the whole experience.
Description of Work: Moved furniture in 3 rooms, plus some misc. items, for a distance of about 20 miles.

+ -1 moreThe move went very well. We had two movers helping us who were on time, very polite and professional. They worked incredibly hard lugging boxes and furniture up and down two flights of stairs. At the new house they did accidentally damage a light fixture carrying furniture in. The movers were very apologetic which was appreciated even though we signed a waiver covering incidental damages that could occur like that. We weren't too upset about it, we didn't particularly like the style of that light fixture anyway.
Description of Work: Two Men and a Truck helped us move from our old home to our new home. We closed on both houses on the same day so Two Men and a Truck simply drove from the old house to the new one on the same day.

+ -1 moreThe crew showed up right on schedule. We had an awesome team of movers who were very courteous and worked very efficiently. They listened to our requests on both ends of the move and were very helpful throughout the whole process. Seeing that we had more than could be done in the time frame, they called for a second truck and crew and with that in place everything went very well. Unloading at the new house was great too - they placed all the items wherever we asked and got the whole job done way faster than we had imagined it could be done.
Description of Work: We were moving from one house to another and needed some assistance to haul the items. We had most small things pre-boxed. Two Men gave us a phone estimate and scheduled our appointment. They also followed up with reminder calls ahead of time.

+ -1 moreOur experience was outstanding. We were expecting our moving date to be long, hard, and stressful. The team arrived on our moving day, backed in the truck, got a tour of what needed to be moved and what didn't, laid down their mats and runners and GOT TO IT! We were amazed at how fast and well they did their jobs. We were packed up and ready to head to the new location in half of the expected time. Nothing was damaged at all. Then at our destination, they unloaded again in half the expected time. Everything went to the right place. All we had to do was direct them on the items that weren't labeled, hold the door open from time to time, and stay out of their paths. They were absolutely wonderful. Friendly, courteous, careful, focused, and all together a great team. Thank you so much to our team! You made our moving day so much less painful than it could have been.
Description of Work: W were moving from a one store house with a fully finished basement to a 4 story split level. We were already packed. They loaded the truck in the poring rain, drove it to the new location, and unloaded it again - everything into it's proper room.

All items were carefully moved to exactly the correct location, wiht no damage to the items, the stairs or the walls. It was money well spent. I will definitely call them the next time we need this kind of help.

Description of Work: We cannot begin to convey the outstanding service by this company. The measures they went to after our previous scheduled movers told me they were now unavailable (another company by the same name but a different home base) AND then told my move date had changed to a day earlier (this was the day I ended up having to move) was without question one of the most professional and accommodating teams I have ever worked with. Chad was exceptional in scheduling, rescheduling, storing and then delivering our items (he made it possible for me to store my furniture overnight in a truck when I found out my closing date had changed and had to move out in four hours); Jeff and Cory were expedient, thorough, and funny (which to a girl moving an entire house by herself in a matter of four hours makes a huge difference); and everything arrived pristine and without a hiccup. Again, I cannot express my appreciation for this team and how they went above and beyond what they needed to do - and especially after the other Two Men & A Truck from Edina cancelled my contract, was unapologetic and rude. Even if you have to pay a little more for the Burnsville Two Men & A Truck team because they are further away, make the investment - they are worth their weight in gold.

+ -1 moreThe two movers were very polite, professional, and efficient without being hasty or rushed. They wrapped up our furniture well and found creative solutions to moving big pieces (e.g., lowering the couch over the balcony when it didn't fit down the stairs). One's name was Josh, and I can't remember the other. It took them about 2.5 hours to load up the truck and about an hour to load it into our new home. The only thing I would say is that this felt like a slightly expensive move. We paid $617 for the move, and I didn't think we really even had very much stuff. We only hired them for the bigger pieces, including two couches. My partner and I had already moved all of our books, clothing, dishes, food, etc. ourselves, so there were no boxes. We did that to save money, and I'm glad we did, because the move would have probably been closer to $1,000 if we hadn't. But I felt very confident with the movers, who took good care of our stuff, and they bring their own truck.
Description of Work: We moved from a third-floor apartment to a single-family home a couple miles away.

+ -1 moreWe did our own packing. They arrived on time with five men and two trucks. They loaded all boxes and furniture at our old home and unloaded everything at our new house on the same day. Since we were closing both houses on this day also, much of the moving was done without us being present. They were prompt, professional and we had no damaged items; not even a broken glass. I went over where the large pieces of furniture were to go before leaving for our new house closing and when we arrived back, everything was unloaded and where it belonged.

+ -1 moreThe 2 young men who did the job were excellent. Although they were very quick and efficient, they were very careful not to mark up the walls or floors. They were always polite and a pleasure to deal with. When it came to unloading the items in the storage locker, they made maximum use of the space available. It's obvious the team has had a lot of experience doing this kind of work. We would highly recommend the particular team that did this move.
Description of Work: We are preparing our house for sale and needed to put furniture and other household goods in a storage locker. The workers removed all the items, packed their truck, then unloaded them into the storage locker.

+ -1 moreThe two men, Nick and Jim, arrived on time. They were professional yet fun, very accommodating and cheerful. Seemed to really enjoy their job. They were tidy, efficient, and used their brains (in addition to their brawn). They wrapped everything well, handled everything with care, were resourceful and didn't require babysitting. I can't recommend this company highly enough. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend to friends and family.
Description of Work: Two Men moved the majority of my household (all the big, heavy stuff and a lot of boxes) from one location to another about ten miles away.

+ -1 moreThe crew showed up on time, in matching shirts and looked ready to work. They seemed very young, but were extremely pleasant to interact with and very hard-working. At no time did I feel like they were slowing down or doing less than they should. They worked hard the entire time they were on site. I didn't see them take a break or anything. It was amazing how much they could carry at one time (I got tired just watching them!). They wrapped all my furniture so it wouldn't be damaged - and they definitely didn't scrimp on the wrap. At my new place they put down plastic and pads so as to not leave dirt on my carpet or floors. Hauled everything in very quickly and stopped the clock as soon as they were done. The final cost was exactly within the amount quoted. Overall, I had a very good experience with this company. I felt like I got my money's worth and I would absolutely recommend them and/or use them again.

+ -1 moreThe company called right back, and gave an estimate over the phone, including travel time- they would be paid on an hourly basis. They called to confirm the day before, and told us what times to expect the movers, Juan and Bryce arrived right on time, swept the sidewalk, and came to look at the job. The office had not told them we had a piano to move, and they were annoyed, but after discussing the location in the new house, they agreed they could do it. We had mentioned this in particular when we booked the move. The movers brought several wardrobe boxes - just the right number. They quickly got everything loaded, and then discussed stopping for lunch- telling me that they would take 1/2 hour off the clock for lunch. They moved everything into the new house, and were done more quickly than I expected. Did I mention the cold drizzle? Nothing was damaged. Juan and Bryce were great to work with, and responsive to requests. They packed things very efficiently into the truck. I would recommend them any time.
