Joe came out the day I called, which was greatly appreciated because the temp was rising and I had a leak in the roof. Others that I called either didn't call back or couldn't come out right away. He removed about 3 feet of snow and 4 inches of ice in the roof valley trouble spot. He took pictures upon completion to show me what was done - no snow, no ice, no damage to my shingles and no more leak!

I chose this company after interviewing six other Roofing contractors. Your roof is very important as a homeowner so I did extensive research before hand. I like dealing with smaller companies and was impressed by Joe, the owner of TD Roofing. He is very professional and easy to work with. His crew are very hard workers and they finished the job on time.I was also impressed how well they cleaned up my yard,since my research lead me to believe I may have nails and shingles left behind.The workers even cleaned out the well of the egress window. My roof looks beautiful and has added great value. I would recommend that if you are in need of a new roof that you should put this company on your list of bids.

After getting an estimate from Joe, we were able to schedule a time shortly thereafter. Joe and his crew worked quickly and cleanly. My plants and flowers surrounding my house were not disturbed by the old roof removal. The new roof looks great now and I'd happily recommend TD Roofing to anyone who is looking for a roofing service that will get the job done right.

First, let me say we were selling our home, and II was having roof work done to meet the demands of the buyer's inspection report... so I was under a deadline, and need to get the work done right. SECOND, I am being verbose in this review because I was to be accurate. This is exactly how it all went down. From the get-go my experience with TD Roofing was disappointing: - NO SHOW ON ESTIMATE. My initial call: Joe (the owner) said he'd come by at 9:00am the next day to look at the project and give me an estimate. By noon he hadn't shown or called, so I had to call him. He seemed to be fumbling for an excuse, and said "Oh... hello... I'm in my truck... it's a mess... I thought I'd lost your number... oh wait, here it is." He agreed to come out at end of day for the estimate. - SCOPE OF WORK. The problems he was asked to look at were: 1) An inoperable power fan in the attic; 2) A small area of mold on underside of roof in the attic; 3) Installation of flashing kickouts; 4) Installation of additional hooded roof vents. Turned out the problem with the inoperable power fan was simply a switch that had been set to "off" accidentally, and that the related mold problem wasn't very severe. Joe agreed that if I provided the anti-mold spray or bleach, upon his return to do the job he would go in the attic and squirt the "offending areas." - TIMETABLE AGREED UPON. Joe said he couldn't do it the following week (Week 1) but he put me on the schedule for the week after that (Week 2). That was fine. - NO CHANGES TO SKED. Week 1 went by without hearing anything from Joe. No notice of problems, no need to reschedule, anything. We were counting on the work being done the following week, as agreed. - NO SHOW ON JOB. Week 2 (the scheduled work week) came and went and we heard nothing at all from Joe. - HAD TO HUNT HIM DOWN. On Tuesday of Week 3 I called Joe and asked what was up. Again, I got excuses: "Oh, that heat wave last week really backed us up... I'm on a big job right now... I'm not sure when I will be able to get out there, maybe Thursday or Friday." I forced him to promised to call me on Thursday morning with a FIRM day and time. He said he would, and he did. The work was now set for Friday of Week 3. (One week late.) - ARRIVED UNPREPARED. Joe showed up and needed to be reminded what work he was supposed to do. He couldn't remember where the flashing was to be installed. There was some confusion over whether the project was for two or four flashings. I had to get out the inspection report and show him the photos that I had shown him at the estimate meeting. We figured out that the project only called for the installation of two flashings - but, Joe said, he "could do four if I wanted them." We stuck with doing only two. - BROKEN PROMISE. As he went to his truck to get materials, I called after him, "Hey - don't forget, before you leave, you're going to go into the attic and squirt some spray on that mold." He replied, "Oh, today's really busy. I have a big job in Chaska. I'm not going to be able to do that." I said, "You said you would - it will only take ten minutes." Joe: "No, I'm really busy today - I know ten minutes doesn't seem like a lot, but it is." Me: "Whatever... I seem to have had to fight you every step of the way on this job, and now you won't do this, either. You do whatever you think is right." ONLY AFTERWARDS DID I REALIZE - he was going to have the extra time to put two additional flashings in when I was going to pay him $60 for each. But he couldn't afford to take ten minutes to fulfill a promise he had made to me. He did the work. I paid. I have no way of knowing whether his roofing skills are worth anything. But his business and personal skills did not impress me. UPDATE: Just got off a heated phone call with Joe. He didn't call to apologize, but to take issue. He admitted he didn't do what he had promised he would (spray my attic ceiling) because it would have earned him any money. I said I would have paid him if he had explained it was an issue of money - he countered that "I didn't offer to pay." He also said it was "low" of me to write a review like this. I hung up when we started yelling at each other. Then he sent me a text telling me that 95% of his reviews are positive... and that I am "disrespectful" for hanging up. Sorry, I don't have time to yell on the phone. Phew! Caveat emptor!

Process was very smooth from the initial bid to completion. All was was done as we had discussed and the clean up was great. I highly recommend working the TD Roofing for anyone needed any roofing services.

I called and spoke to somebody immediately who was willing to come soon to look at the roof. We set-up a time for the following day, however, the next day he never showed up for the appointment and failed to call and explain/re-schedule. Did not use, nor will in the future due to this experience.

I got the confirmation email from the website. They never showed up. I called a couple times to see if they were running late and got the voicemail. From the other reviews it appears as though they are generally very prompt so I'm assuming something came up, but don't know. Just heard back from Joe and he was out of town and had some issues with his website. I'll probably get a bid from him in the future.

It was great. He answered the phone when I called, I didn't have to leave a message. He came to give me an estimate in two days. Arrived early to do the work. Stayed right at the estimate he gave me. Very nice, polite, professional. Will definitely call again and would recommend to my friends.

Joe, the owner, was very prompt and pleasant. He explained everything well and made his estimate on the spot. His estimate for the job was right in line with other estimates that I received. Joe also gave me an address to see a roof with the color I was considering. His crew arrived on the agreed-upon day and went to work. They were obviously experienced and hard-working. Joe spent most of the day on site and had an excellent crew leader when he was not there. My roof is relatively small so the entire job took only about 6-7 hours. The clean-up was done well - I"ve only found one nail in my plants. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

Joe was very pleasant on the phone, and came out right away (when I told him the nature of our problem.) The estimate was very reasonable, even though the climb to the peak of our roof was a challenging one! We would be more than happy to hire him again, if we weren't moving out of state. Mr. Joe Thomas, whose experience dates back to his teens and twenties in Iowa, was clear about his plans and carried them out exactly. He scheduled the job and arrived precisely when stated; delivery of materials went smoothly. The staging of the job was excellent, given the risk of rain this spring. His experienced crew, led by Manuel, is excellent and we enjoyed interacting with them. By the end of the first day the entire roof was shingled and required ridge finishing, etc. over the last 25% or so on the second day. Crew arrived early on second day and was done before noon. Their cleanup job was sterling. We have come across almost nothing in the way of shingle pieces, nails, bits of plastic, etc. TD Roofing gives a company 10-year warranty in addition to the manufacturer's warranty. All in all we would not hesitate to recommend this firm most highly.

Company president Joe came to inspect the storm damage and to give an estimate, very forthright and honest. His crew came a few days later and finished the job in a single day, really worked hard.

The owner Joe came out and gave us our quote, between Joe being such a great guy and receiving a great quote, we hired him right away. We were under a tight timeline to get the work done which Joe met. Joe came out Wednesday morning at 7:30 am and was followed shortly by his crew, they started working right away and worked until 8:30 pm. They did a great job, our new roof looks great. They did a great job with the clean up and were able to get the job done in one day. I can easily recommend TD Roofing, we need new siding and gutters and will be using them to fulfill those needs. I had some flashing separating from my roof and called TD roofing to repair. Joseph Thomas the owner was able to reattached the flashing as well as seal some exposed nail heads he found. If you are looking for an honest and hard working roofer I highly recommend TD roofing.

I was one of the many unfortunate homeowners who had defective organic shingles. In short, a class action law suit against the manufacturer of my previous shingles did not pay for the bad shingles to be replaced. It was almost entirely all my financial responsibility to pay for the new roof. Joe, the owner of TD Roofing was very accommodating. He provided a great price. I felt very comfortable hiring TD Roofing to install my new roof.
