I called Joe to fix a leak that was coming in from my bathroom fan vents (after the first guy I called never showed up when he said he would fix it). He immediately identified the real problem that the first guy missed. and came back a couple days later to complete the repair. While he was there, he also identified a couple other minor issues - One he fixed that day (without charge), and the other he told me to contact the company that replaced our roof 5 years ago as they should fix it under warranty instead of him charging me. Joe took the time to explain each step of the repair, and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Joe for any roofing work!

I hired Joe (owner) and his team to replace my old masonsite siding with new vinyl, and install new gutters. Joe was transparent from our first interaction and listened to what I wanted. When they started the job I was surprised to see Joe helping his crew and working alongside his team, making sure everything was done perfectly. His team was professional, efficient, and very accommodating always asking permission if they could stay late, come early, or if I was okay if they stopped by on the weekend. Even with rain they worked quickly and made me feel like a priority. With my house being old there were a few things I didn’t prepare for, such as crumbling brick but Joe was quick to call it out and offer a solution at a reasonable cost. So glad I chose TD Roofing and Remodeling, very happy with how my house looks!

They did a good job. They had to come back out this spring and fix it with no cost and no problem. I was very pleased with them. It was the first time they were here. I’m very happy with them. I thought the price was fair. They were very fair, they were fine. They just did a great job. Probably 4 or 5 guys came out. The workers were all polite. They left the area clean.

They didn't even quibble about charging for the repair. Quality is good because it's not leaking. They were very responsive when I called them in the early spring when it was too cold to do the work. They came out took a look at it and took responsibility. They came out when they said they would. They left the area clean and the workers were polite and genuine.

TD Roofing & Remodeling is terrific! I highly recommend them. Joe (owner) promptly quoted my small repair job, while other companies wouldn’t even bother to return my calls. When Joe arrived at the scheduled day/time (right on time) to do the work, he was courteous and professional. He thoroughly explained the job and then set to work. The job was completed professionally, on schedule and at the quoted price. I’ve been thinking about upgrading my gutters, and I will definitely be contacting TD Roofing & Remodeling again when it’s time for that job. Thanks again, Joe!

TD Roofing did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the work.

Joe was very responsive. We met him at the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show, gave him our contact information, and he followed up immediately. He was on time for the initial assessment and was on time for start up. He was running several jobs simultaneously - my only complaint is he said he would start on Wed and be done Thurs morning - he started Wed as planned, but was finishing up at sunset on Friday night - no big deal, but if it's going to take 3 days, then bid 3 days. They ran out of shingles on Thursday and had to stop - that prevented the crew from finishing earlier. Clean up was very good - I found a couple of nails in the driveway before someone ran over them with a car - other than that, the crew did a good job. Workmanship was very good - Joe used a latino crew and they banged everything out very well. TD Roofing also gave us a discount for hooking up at the show as well as paying in cash. I would recommend TD Roofing in the future - he's a go-getter that gets the job done. Overall, I rate the experince an A. Good job!

Joe and his crew were very friendly as well as professional. He gave me a variety of options and was able to do it the way I wanted. They are a smaller crew but did the work as fast as a larger crew and when they said they would do it. He offered me high quality shingles and it looks great.

Went great, including the follow up visit to fix the leak. Joe identified a second spot that would develop a leak and fixed that too. He was attentive, communicated quickly and Di the work expertly. Great job!

I had 2-3 issues with my roof that I was hoping to get answered and possibly repaired. Joe responded very quickly. He was also very thorough in accessing and explaining trouble spots throughout the exterior and was able to repair all spots I had concerns with.

Better than Sela!: I first met with Sela Roofing to get an estimate for my roof, but there seemed to be little follow-through, and the sales representative's receptionist (let alone the sales rep.) didn't seem to remember who I was whenever I called. It was completely different when I met w/ Joe. He really worked with me to make sure I got the roof that I wanted. I changed my mind on the type of shingles I wanted several times before the installation date, and Joe was completely flexible and accommodating. He is also very detail-oriented, knowledgeable and nice to work with. He has a one-crew operation, so he is closely connected to the project from start to finish. The crew is extremely hard-working and meticulous. Joe followed-through in all respects, even with the tiny (but not-so-exciting) details at the end of the project. Our new roof and skylight look awesome! I'm so glad we chose Joe/TD Roofing!

Came out to assess the issue and provide an estimate, but was able to replace the shingles at the visit for a very reasonable price. He educated me as to why the shingles fell off, which was due to nailing too high and too few nails per single. TD did not do the initial install. He explained that I would likely see more fall off each year and should plan on annual repair costs or decide some day to have the shingles replaced correctly. No pressure either way...he just wanted me to know what I faced if the whole roof was done that way.

Joe did a fantastic job. From the promptness in scheduling to reviewing my options (reusing old shingles vs. new) to sharing before and after shots of the work, I would highly recommend him and he is on my short list to call again should I need a repair or a whole roof replacement.

Joe not only put on a new roof when he said he would it turned out perfect. in addition to the roof he noticed and corrected a long standing problem that was caused by the incorrect installation of the chimney next to the garage. he corrected the problem and installed proper flashing. Joe takes pride in his work is honest and professional.

We contacted several roofers who were very positively reviewed here, but only two came through with an estimate--perhaps because it was late in the season. TD was approx $1000 lower than the other estimate. I liked Joe's straightforward communication, he seemed quite knowledgeable from what I could tell. I learned a little online about flashing details, and when I asked about his techniques Joe had very good answers. We have had ice dams and leaks in previous winters, so we were hoping a new roof will help with this. We discussed options such as heating wires, and Joe suggested a relatively new technology "STEP Roof De-icing" which is a kind of warming mat laid under the shingles. He and I both did some research on this and concluded that the cost was too high. But I appreciated his suggestion and exploring this enough to see if it was an option. Joe estimated 1.5 days for the job, but it ended up taking 2.5 days of work, and with a rain day in the middle it took most of a week. The crew worked hard, seemed to be careful and attending to details. We ended up applying a little extra ice & water shield, and they had to replace a small amount of decking, but the charges for these turned out to be minimal. They applied some extra-heavy-duty ice & water shield that he had leftover from a previous job at no cost, which I appreciated. Clean-up was good. After they finished I was still finding nails in some of the bushes and little corner areas, so at my request they did another pass with a magnet in nooks & crannies areas--went the extra mile on that. The roof looks great and I no have reason to think it won't hold up well, and that Joe will follow-up if it is needed. A big improvement to our home! Joe communicated well overall. I needed to check with him a couple of times to keep communication going, but he was always responsive. He wears a lot of hats for his company.

We had ice dam damage on our roof and some rotted wood behind a fascia/gutter. Joseph came in and gave us a, I felt, genuine inspection and quote to our damage. Most companies I felt were just "selling" us on their company. I felt like Joseph really understood what we needed done and that we didn't want any short-cuts either. The only reason I gave them a couple of "4's" is because it took a little while to get their invoice and some photos. Other than the paperwork, they were perfect!

My neighbor who is very picky recommend joe and I was not disappointed. He is not only prompt but does excellent work and calls if there are any delays he is very professional. I felt very comfortable giving his name to a former co worker of mine.

Joe and crew were very easy to deal with, answered any questions in a knowledgeable/professional manner. Most important to us besides workmanship was the cleanup.

He never came out on that Friday to provide an estimate.

Experienced a leaking roof during the first big rain storm of the spring. After contacting several roofing companies, Joe with TD was the only one able to respond the same day (May 9). Joe arrived on time and found the cause to be a poorly assembled roof vent which caused water to pool and eventually leak into the exhaust. Joe was able to schedule us for a repair he guaranteed for around 7 years, and despite some delays due to windy/rainy weather completed the work within a few weeks. However, a second large rainstorm blew through on June 1st. We awoke to found a large amount of water pooled on our stove top and in our cabinets over the stove, including some that drained into the microwave itself. Joe was able to return a few days later, and while it appeared part of the issue was straight line winds blowing water directly into the vent pipe (the potential cause of the water on the stovetop) he found that in the process of correcting the vent installation they had neglected to caulk a few spots along the edges, which created a gap that water was able to run through and down into the kitchen. Joe fixed this new leak, and asked us to follow up with him if the microwave needed out of warranty repair/replacement due to the water from the leak. There has since been a third significant rainstorm (June 18-21) and no additional water has come into the kitchen. Also, an LG service agent determined that while water had seeped into the microwave due to the leak, this had only caused a temporary issue which resolved itself once the moisture inside evaporated. Within a week the appliance was working without issue.

This was the third roofing company I contacted for an estimate. It was the lowest estimate I received (and I hadn't mentioned the other estimates.) The owner, Joe, who gave me the estimate seemed knowledgeable and straightforward. (The other 2 estimators also did...all were highly rated on Angies List). I went with Joe at TD Roofing for the price and he could do the job fairly soon. He also brings his own dumpster so I figured it wouldn't be sitting around too long. The job was started on a Friday morning...worked a long day. My roof isn't big but has some unusual angles to it due to an add on with some dormers. They came back Saturday to finish the garage and worked at the most half a day. Cleaned up well when done. Dumpster removed that afternoon. Workers were very courteous as was Joe. He also was good at responding to my questions...I had no trouble reaching him by phone. The roof looks great and passed inspection. I also had applied for a rebate from the city of Robbinsdale and Joe was fine with doing a couple of forms for that.

Joe and his crew came out and put new shingles and gutters on our house for 30% cheaper than any other big I received. We had a slight cutter issue but he came out right away to fix it.

I reached out to TD Roofing and remodeling when I experienced some roof leaking during recent rainy weather. I purchased the roof inspection to be sure there were no other issues. Joe came out the following day, despite the rainy weather inspected the roof and had a bid/recommendation for the leaky area caused by vents in the roof. Despite being delayed due to all the bad weather he came out the following week, completed the repair, took pictures so I knew it had been completed and took time to tell what we could do IF it should reoccur due to how the vents we installed. He was professional, courteous and efficient. A positive first experience!

I researched available contractors on Angies List that could address a small problem such as mine. I found TD Roofing which had good reviews. They offered an inspection service at a reasonable price. They came out within 24 hours to perform the inspection (I might add in the rain). They diagnosed the problem as a deteriorated septic vent that needed to be replaced. They came out and made the repairs in two days. Excellent service and very professional.
