Description of Work: Gave a quote for landscaping. But basically, it was a one time visit, I would have liked to discuss in person their recommendation. It took a long time for them to set up the appointment and to provide the recommendation.

Description of Work: I bought a deal on Angie's list to have my irrigation system checked. It had not been used in at least 12 years, as the previous owners of the house reported that they had not ever used it. A problem arose during the check due to the age of the system - the regulator did not work properly, nor did some of the valves. In addition a line needed repairing so the water pressure was not adequate to operate all of the regions and thus a full test of the system was not able to be completed without more work. I had not realized the extent of th investment that had to be made and so I had only the immediately necessary repairs made - the ones that had to be made so that the system could now be winterized (since water had to be run in the system in order for the test.) The work and the technician were both good but had I realized the cost for all of this - including the need to pay for the winterization, i would not have had the test done until spring, when I could have used the system for the season. I was surprised that the charges beyond the deal were so great, too - but when I talked with the company I was told that charges were typical of the industry. I have no frame of reference here on which to judge this myself so I paid the bill. I rated the company A because the technical work was good and the guy was professional and open in explaining what needed to ultimately be done. However, I was not pleased with the extra cost.

Description of Work: Did fall sprinkler system blowout. Angie's List said they would adjust heads but technician said they do not do this in the fall. Took 4 calls to get this sorted out.

Description of Work: Very responsive on the phone, however the technician was late which threw off our schedule. All in all though a good experience.

Description of Work: They blew out our sprinklers. The workman showed up on time and finished the job promptly. The only problem was he was not told this was an Angie's List deal and therefore was paid in advance. I offered to show him the online receipt but he said he would take my work for it which I appreciated. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I purchased $25 worth of landscape design services. I received one voicemail from them and then spent the next two months playing phone tag and waiting for a call back. I was continually transferred to one person's voicemail, and he never called me back I eventually gave up, cut my $25 loss, and moved on. I would definitely not recommend Advanced Irrigation Services.
