Im sorry [removed member name]. We were no longer in your area. We should have gotten back to you. We are working to hire new HR employees at the moment and our company is undergoing a big transition. We will not be up and running in NY until this coming spring. Description of Work: Removed thick ice from the roof in a section of the house that was causing some water to come in by steaming chunks off. They did a good job and were polite and professional. It was quite expensive, although I knew because I asked before having them do the job that it would be $475.00 an hour, with a minimum of two hours, and probably take 2/12 to three hours to do the job, so that wasn't a surprise. Asked for and received the Senior discount.

Thank you for your business . Im sorry about the cost. Ice dam removal is not a cheap service when done correctly. We were on several roofs in your area that were severely damaged and needed to be replaced or extensive repairs to be made due to improper ice dam removal techniques. Description of Work: The removed ice dams from our roof that were causing water to get inside the house. They were very efficient and did a great job by using hot steam to remove the ice and clear snow from the ridge vents and lower parts of the roof. |They did a great job, but I found them to be expensive, although cheaper than costly repairs due to water damage. I will be checking to see if insurance will cover part of the cost.

Thanks for the review. I'm sorry about the price. This is an expensive operation with a lot of liability involved. Ice dam steaming is a fairly new service in most states. We send 2 technicians to every job when possible plus some very expensive delicate equipment. Their is a lot of training involved, hazard pay and maintenance costs are high. I'm pleased to hear you are leak free on the areas that we worked on. Again thank you for the review.

Description of Work: I called to get an estimate on work at my house he called back and said he looked at my house on google earth and then gave me abid over the phone on the cost to build soffits on my eaves i had two other projects to bid on but with a bid over the phone with out coming out i was done with him

Sometimes we do give a rough estimate over the phone if possible. This helps our customers to better understand what costs and job scope may be before someone comes out to meet with you and reduces any pressure to purchase a product or service from us. Truth be told, Most companies would have sent you a salesman and refused to give a quote over the phone. In fact the only people that have given me a hard time about this process is other contractors. They tell me if we want to sell more services and get more jobs than we have to get face to face with our clients, sit them down at the table and give them a sales pitch. Well not us. This is the first complaint we have had about this, all of the customers aside from yourself have appreciated this service. We apologise if you felt that you were not taken seriously. I assure you that you were. We take pride in our customer service, quality of our work and craftmanship throughout all of our projects.
