No hitches. Easy to work with, did a great job. It was the second time we used them (needed to replace due to hail damage). No problems or unpleasant surprises. All top notch.

Work was done promptly. Crew was very diligent and concerned that, all was right. Cleaned up when done. No complaints on our part. I would use them again if a need arises.

This is my second experience with Sela and I came back to them because my first experience was a good one, we hoped for the same. This time around I had more items done on my property involving my roof replacement (which btw was installed in one day!!) Great workers, we also had siding, gutters and a new rain barrel installed and from the beginning to end My wife and I were very impressed with our salesman's knowledge and communication- this was important on our scale of interactions with a contractor, the crews did an outstanding job!! Pricing was not the lowest, but it was not the highest either- My salesman even came out over the weekend after my dog chased a chipmunk up the downspout and demolished the extension in the process- chipmunk and dog survived but my extension was destroyed, he came out and replaced it for me!! It pays to shop local- Now that is what customer service is all about - Thanks again Sela!

We had Sela out to replace our roof, soffit, fascia and gutters after we received storm damage. The salesman was friendly and took the time to go over each item that was to be done- I appreciated his helpfulness and he suggested some new colors for my soffit and fascia- which I agreed and could not be more happy with the results~ I have had other work done on my property but Sela blew them out of the water with how quick they got out there to do the work- they cleaned up and then followed up with me to make sure everything went well- I would totally hire them again! Thanks Sela- My property is back to looking amazing!

I hired Sela Roofing and Gutter Connection to install a roof saddle including stucco replacement, to install new gutters, downspouts and leaf guards. The service, communication, planning, execution and clean up were all below expectations. I hired them because I had heard the brand before and thought they had a good reputation; it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. These are the main reasons for my poor rating of Sela roofing and gutter connection: Poor Communication: -I was told by the salesman the installation sequence was to finish the roof saddle and stucco, install the gutters, downspouts and guards. -Before the roof saddle and stucco was complete, I received a call that the gutters were going to be installed. I asked for clarification and received no follow-up. -While the stucco was in progress, I received a call from the Sela salesman that the wrong stucco vendor was at my house; he asked me if I had scheduled the stucco vendor on my own. I communicated that I had nothing to do with scheduling and expected this to be resolved right away. It took another 2 weeks for the stucco to be completed. In addition, the gutter project manager told me he was frustrated with my communications with sales. -After the stucco was completed and before the gutters were installed (after many calls gaining clarification of the expected gutter install date), I received a call from a different project manager stating the project was complete. I had to explain to the manager the project was only partially complete. She did some research then acknowledged she was wrong and the gutters, downspouts and guards still needed to be installed. Poor planning: - It took another 2+ weeks to complete the stucco job, which they left scaffolding and sharp materials sitting in the front of my house with little communication of the expected completion date. - The gutter installation was partially completed when the Sela gutter installer communicated he was almost done with the project. My wife asked him if he was going to install the leaf guards upon completing the last part of the project. The installer said he had no documentation on installing guards.After looking into it, he acknowledged that the order got lost and had to come back later to install the guards. - I asked the salesman to verify if he had submitted the order. He said he did and was frustrated with the process. Poor execution and clean up: - I was very concerned when the ?wrong? stucco contractors left my house leaving disconnected downspouts and an exposed hole in my wall since it was expected to rain that evening. I called to clarify timing and expressed concern for these open items. I received a call back from the gutter project manager stating it was my fault that his team had been rescheduled. He eventually came by to reconnect the disconnected downspouts. It took many days for the stucco contractors to fill the gaps in the wall. - After the gutters, downspouts and guards were installed, I found a leak in a gutter. I called and they sent someone out 2 days later. It rained again and found another leak. They sent someone out again to fix the leak. I did not receive follow-up communication when the leaks were repaired (and I don?t know if they are repaired yet). - They left debris, sharp nails, screws, and leftover materials all over the exterior of my house. I communicated numerous times to ask them to clean up. I explained that this was unacceptable as I constantly have children in my yard and a 2 year old that would put anything in his mouth. Their response was they would pick up the materials after the project was complete (after 5 weeks). 2-3 days after my final call they sent someone out to pick up the nails, but by that time my wife and I ended up clearing most of the items for safety reasons. Overall this was a bad experience and would not recommend Sela for these services.

From the initial consultation all the way through the gutter installation, the crew was professional, polite, and experienced. They made sure that any initial questions we had were answered, and after installation we received another call to ensure the technicians completed the job to our satisfaction and expectation. The downspout color match was almost perfect and the sales staff made sure we were comfortable with the color before any last decisions were made. There was NO pressure to buy, unlike so many other companies that we received estimates from. We appreciated the staff allowing us time to make the decision and letting us know how long it might be before service could be scheduled. They receive an A+++ in our book. We would not hesitate to refer them (despite the cost being a little higher) because of their professionalism, quality of product, and overall great result! We received exactly what we asked and what we paid for. It's not often that a company has as much integrity as SELA Gutter Connection. We sincerely appreciate the great job with the gutters on our home.

Crew arrived on time, were efficient and clean, and professional.

We had used SELA as a contractor in 2009 to replace a roof and gutters on our previous residence. SELA's work there was excellent so we called on them again here in our new-to-us detached townhouse (built in 2003) here in Woodbury to replace some gutters that were not covered and to add new ones as well. Particularly noteworthy was the installation team who were so conscientious. The team leader brought to my attention that the covers we'd ordered were perhaps not the best color considering our roof color. It was especially interesting to me that he made this comment, as the SELA representative who came to our house tried to convince us that we should use white covers. Having had black in our previous installation and having been quite happy with them, I ordered the black once again in spite of the representative's urging me to install white. The installer brought top my attention the fact that there were multiple color choices from which to choose and he offered strong advice that a different color that he showed me would look best with our current roof. The installer convinced me that he was right. So he facilitated the change in color, necessitating a phone call to his supervisor and a re-schedule to come back and install the newly chosen color for the covers. I ws very thoroughly impressed with the thoughtfulness and attention to detail of the installer. Should I need more roofing or gutters, I would certainly head right back to SELA. (I should add here that the reason I chose them in the first place in 2009 was the recommendation from a neighbor who had been satisfied and happy with his new roof installed by SELA.)

It went super. They were very thorough. They did an awesome job. Everything was done above and beyond what we expected. They cleaned up my yard and left nothing behind. I would hire Sela again and again. I will be referring Sela o everybody I know that needs work done. We will be getting ahold of them in the spring to get a new deck.

Albert Benjohar met with me last year in regards to a Gutter estimate. I had also met with 4 other companies (Storm, Snap Construction, Tonka Gutters, and Home Depot) so I had seen every sale and presentation from Angie's List's top gutter companies. Albert made my decision very easy. He was detailed in his explanation of all the options I had before me. He walked me through the entire process, even demonstrated the Leafx with water, and made sure all my questions were answered. Not one time did he make me feel rushed or pressured to make any decisions. Their was no comparison in regards to his ability to educate me on gutters. Albert was the only sales person to leave me with a detailed project contract, nice SELA folder, detailed color brochures and personal business card. Not 1 other company came close to his service and thoroughness. On top of that, he returned to my home the next day and even explained to me in detail why some of my other estimates may have seemed lower in price. We compared apples to apples and SELA came out way ahead. I ended up purchasing the SELA Leafx Product and look forward to the installation team and lifetime warranty! Please make sure Albert knows that he made a lifelong customer. I would be happy to recommend him to my friends and family if they ever need gutters or roofing.

They seem to be misleading as they said they were about a week in a half out after the estimate. I chose them because of the time frame that they stated and it is in the contract for June 30th and they are not doing the work until next week. I would have went with a different company if I would have known the actual time frame.

Had a salesman come out for an estimate and he was extremely friendly and did pressure us at all to buy once he gave us the estimate. Once we did order new gutters they said they were about 2 weeks out at the moment but another job fell through in the area and they came and ended up doing ours that week. They were very fast and they look great! Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Servicemen were punctual, knowledgeable, very nice. Did the job quickly and efficiently. Did not leave any debris or garbage behind. Would highly recommend. Did a fantastic job.

Albert came out to give us a quote and was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He was able to provide us with the details at the initial meeting including the price with and without gutter covers. After receiving quotes from other vendors we decided to go with Sela. The original installation appointment was delayed a few times due to weather. When the installers came, they did a good job but didn't follow Albert's original plan for one section of our home. However, they were doing the modification to make the system work they way they felt would be best. We called because we weren't satisfied with how it looked and Albert promptly came back out to discuss. Since the installers didn't follow his plan for that section of the house, he advised that he would have them come back out to fix it and worked with us to understand exactly what we were thinking it should look like. Getting the installers to come back out was a bit of a challenge both due to weather and scheduling. However, when the timing finally worked out they did fix it to Albert's plan and our liking. We would definitely get quotes from Sela in the future. They know their products well and do a good and detailed job.

I thought they did a very good job. I thought their estimate was a good price so I went with them. They cleaned up after themselves. They were on time. They did a good job. I thought it was a fair price. They came out and did the job and that was it, I never had to call them back. I'm going to put gutter guards this year so I'm going to get some bids for that.

We were very pleased with Sela Gutter Connection. We contacted them upon a friend's recommendation after we had experienced a hail storm in the area. They were great to work with. They handled everything with the insurance company. While many of our neighbors were waiting for their contractors, our work was already completed. Everything seems to be in working order. We will see how the deck stain stands up to the winter, but I am confident that any concerns will be handled promptly.

Generally went well....The crew has done a great job so far. I liked the lifetime guarantee. Only complaint is that the covers were not installed at the same time as the gutters as they were on back order. Would have been nice if they would have let me know in advance. I placed my order over a month ago and so would have thought all materials should have been available at the time of the install, I wasn't notified by the office, but by the crew when they arrived. Salesperson was very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. The crew was very personable and professional. Appreciated the explanation of how they were doing the install. They came to install the gutter covers late on a friday afternoon. They did finish before dark, but they left several sheet metal screws and some "trimmings" in the driveway and on the sidewalk. Fortunately, I saw them before I ran over them. Would have been unhappy if they had punctured one of my tires. Other than these minor problems, they did a good job and I would definitely hire them again.

The process was easy and the results were great. I already had an uncovered gutter on the back high portion of my roof that was 15 years old and was constantly clogging with debris. It was too hard for me to safely get up there and clean it out, so I decided to get the existing gutter covered. I also decided to add a new gutter over the remaining portion of the back of my house above my deck. Sela installed a new gutter with the Leaf X cover there and the color matched the existing guttering very nicely. The whole process was less than two weeks from estimate to job completion. As promised, they contacted me the day prior to coming out. The crew showed up as expected and took care of the job. The install was straight-forward and they cleaned up after themselves. They forgot to install a new downspout extension and I did not notice until the next day. I called and Sela sent someone out immediately to take care of the issue. They called a couple of days later to make sure I was happy with the work.

Dave Perrault from SELA Gutter Connection came out to give me a proposal on fascia and drip edging Sept. 24,13 (Barnhouse exteriors, please leave name in for others, was paid to do the drip edging that is always done when finishing the edge of shingles and did only the back of the house leaving the rest of my roof undone undone when they did my roof and broke my porch roof). When I had 3 GAF certified contractors give me proposals on fascia they are the ones that told me that Barnhouse only did the back of the house and did not complete the job of doing all the drip edge that has to go on all the edges of the shingles and explained to me what damage it can cause not to have it. They also told me they did not know how Barnhouse could have not done it because it is a natural part of doing the process. You have to have drip edging to keep the elements from going under the shingles and cause damage. .But Dave was the only one that actually measured the edge of the shingles and showed me that the other way of putting a drip edge would not work because Barnhouse (PLEASE LEAVE NAME IN FOR OTHERS) did not leave enough shingle for the shingles to go over the drip edge as needed. So he explained a way they could do it. They had to make a special drip edge to fit. Dave gets an A rating all around for that, but he told me it would be only a couple weeks to get the guys out, it took a few weeks for them to be able to come out. He also said he would take care of the ins. process but I did not know he did not complete the process and had to do the rest myself. For that I give him a C rating but for the rest of what he did I give him an A rating as mentioned. Ivan and Nick who came out to do the job a few weeks later were wonderful. Very customer oriented answered any question I had with pleasure and explained how the drip edging needed to be done to protect the house from the elements. They did some extra for me on the fascia with pleasure and at no cost to me and showed me how the special bend was done when they created the drip edging that needed to be done to all the rest of the house. They were wonderful and did a great job. I would recommend Ivan and Nick to anyone and give them both all the A ratings. Thanks guys!

We had hail damage in August. Our insurance adjuster said they would pay for about 15% of the cost of the roof. Jon, from Sela said there was way more damage than insurance adjuster reported. I had a new insurance adjuster and Jon look at the roof at the same time. Twenty minutes later, the new insurance adjuster agreed to replace the whole roof. Jon was a good communicator and knowledgeable. The Sela crew did the roof in one day. Louis, the crew chief, explained the process. They covered up plants, chairs, etc., and did a good job of clean up. We are very pleased with the roof.

It went great. They came out the same day I called to give an estimate on gutters and then installed them within two weeks. I was very happy with the price and installation.

He came in, took a look and then explained the work to us pretty good but he did not call or showed up for 15 business days. Finally, I called him and asked for the estimate and told us he will give it to us next week. So we wait for another week. It makes no sense and it really upset me. Other than that, they are fine. He's knowledgeable and experienced. The price was fair.

Work went very well. The crew showed up promptly the next day after I signed the contract. I had expected a week or so before they would be able to start, so was pleasantly surprised and pleased since it was suppose to rain the next day. The foreman had me walk around the house and reconfirm all the specific detail. I had two downspouts that would be directed into rain barrels and would be getting diverters. One directed into an underground PVC pipe which empties into a rain garden and one downspout that need to be directed away from the front sidewalk. After the job was done, I decided one extension needed to be cut a little shorter so that the mailman would not trip on it. The workman very courteously made the adjustment. All the debris was hauled away. I didn't see any damage to any flower beds. The foreman had told me they would try to be very careful and they were. A representative from the company called next morning to check that everything met my expectations. I am definitely pleased with my gutters.

The entire process was handled well, from the well researched bid to installationand clean up to the follow up on minor items and final walk through. The entire company seems geared towards customer satisfaction.

Estimator arrived on time. Started off by saying he had not worked on any projects with built in gutters before. He would have to talk to someone else and get back to me. Never happened. I left two messages with him without a response except to leave a message to say someone was going to "swing by" to take a look at it. Apparently never happened. I finally called their offices and asked to speak to someone. I got shuffled around to a few people via voice mail and explained my problem. We played phone tag for several days and I finally left a message saying there was no need to call me any further as we certainly would not be working with them. We were repeat customers and were always pleased with the work they did for us. We will not be using their services in the future.
