Sela Gutter Connection

I would highly recommend Sela Gutter Connection! They were excellent to work with on gutter project from estimate to install. They explained the work, the process and the install went great as well as any clean-up in the yard. I would definitely use them again!

We hired Sela in the fall and they were booked several weeks out, by which time it snowed. In the spring they worked with us on timing because we ended up selling our house in the spring. We appreciated their flexibility and responsiveness during the process.

I got several estimates for gutter replacement on my 130 year old house. This tough winter was all those old gutters could take. One of them actually ripped off the house due to icicles hanging from them. They were not properly installed in the first place and were sagging for several years. It was poorly designed and had a lot of long downspouts going the full length of the house at diagonal angles. The estimates I received were anywhere from $8000 to $2200. SELA was on the lower end. The sales guy came out and did a thorough measurement and designed a better, more efficient plan for downspouts and gutters. We had to wait for the thaw to start the work. They came out with a crew and tore off the old gutters and installed the new ones in a matter of several hours. The workers were friendly, professional, and polite. They asked for my opinion on a couple install issues they ran into. They offered multiple ideas for solutions and got the work done. The age of the house (130 years old) posed some challenges for some of the install but they were able to work around it and the new gutters look great. I had to leave the house before they had finished so I didn't get a chance to do a final walk around to check the work. When I got home I noticed that a couple of the downspouts were cut too long and were encroaching into the city sidewalk which is a no-no. I called and requested they come back and cut them shorter. They agreed to adjust them, no questions asked. They were out several days later to cut them down. It all came out great. I was very happy with my experience overall from sales/estimate to install to follow up. I would definitely recommend this company.

We don't have a large house, but we were in desperate need for new gutters and downspouts. Sela gave us a fair estimate, then we were scheduled. The crew came and went in about three hours and took all the old stuff with them, which was a huge relief. I highly recommend using Sela for gutter and downspout installation. They are very busy, but they do great work.

Quality of work was good and the project managers were good to deal with as well. There were a couple things I wanted changed and they came back and took care of it for no additional charge. I would go with Sela again.

Great. Sela was very responsive to our needs and timeline. They worked past 5:00 to get the job done vs coming back a second day -- we appreciate that efficiency and commitment. They were able to match to our existing gutters and came up with cost effective solutions to help divert water away from our basement (which has been wet in the past). Also appreciated working with Alice in the billing/scheduling area. She was timely, responsive, professional, courteous and fully engaged to get the job done. Overall, a very positive experience and we'd hire them again!

It was an excellent experience start to finish. The person who did the estimate was very nice. The materials he gave us helped us compare to subsequent bids. He answered our phone follow up questions promptly. The workers were very efficient and skilled. Even the office contact didn’t let on how pesky I was about scheduling around our vacation. I would recommend Sela to others.

The Sela inspector came to our house on time and was very thorough in explaining the problems with our roof and gutters to us. Sela's inspectors worked with our insurance company including pointing out further damage. Sela accepted the insurance companies estimate. We took Sela's advice and waited until this spring to have the work completed. The roofing crew started on time as scheduled, kept us apprised of their progress and completed the work within a few days. A large roofing crew worked quickly and efficiently. The cleanup was perfect. We have not found even a single nail or any other debris from the roofing job. The roofing crew even swept our sidewalk and driveway. Our gutters and gutter screen covers were replaced by Sela Gutters. Sela worked to find a matching gutter color that we had requested. The seamless gutters now drain perfectly. Downspouts and extensions were installed in the correct location and properly secured. The gutter crew worked a very long day to complete the job in a single day. I have considerable construct experience and can say that the workmanship on both the roof and gutters were beyond our expectation and I would not hesitate recommending Sela to anyone. All was great. Only negative was I was not called the day they came to do the work

Everything was positive about the job they did on our house. There was one thing i did not like about them and its a big concern. Part of the house was not finished as far as soffits and siding. I called them and they referred me to the salesman who had done it before the project and i never heard from them again. They are a big outfit and they do big jobs, we have a smaller job and i think they did not care about us and call us back. We did not request it in the beginning but when we saw how good the work was we requested them to come back and we did not hear back. The problem is they are a big outfit and doing a lot of stuff, they did not seem interested. If you are not interested in doing the project then just tell me. They have a full advertising campaign all the time.

Sela completed the work promptly, at a high level of quality workmanship, and for a fair price. We first met with Rick, who estimated our job and offered helpful suggestions and solutions. He was very experienced and knowledgeable. Our house is a 1926 stucco and we needed the work done in advance of a new stucco job, so keeping to our schedule was very important. After we signed the estimate, we were contacted promptly and put on the schedule. Michael, the gentleman who did the cladding, was highly skilled and did a wonderful job wrapping all the wooden surfaces in weatherproof aluminum: soffits, fascia, frieze boards, and installing the new vents (which we supplied). Next, Tony and crew arrived to install new 6" gutters with LeafX covers and new downspouts, which were reduced in number and moved to the side of the house for improved aesthetics. We are very pleased with the quality of the work Sela provided, the knowledge and skill of their employees, and the excellent communication throughout each stage of the project. We highly recommend them.

The service was prompt and professional. The salesperson reviewed the project and gave me an estimate on the spot. A time frame was negotiated and the project scheduled. The two man installation team did an excellent job and were very courteous and professional. I've used Sela Gutter Connection for previous projects and have been extremely satisfied.

Sela Gutter Connection did a fantastic job on installing new gutters on our home. They offered a discount up front and had comparable prices to others. They called me to follow up with the service which was great. They also installed before promised which was great! I recommend Sela and they have a great warranty as well! Also-they matched the color of the gutters and downspouts to the house and you can barely notice them!

My experience with SELA Gutter Connection has been truly outstanding. The gentleman who gave me the installation estimate was cordial and thorough in explaining the work that would be completed as per his estimate. The installation crew was here in a timely fashion and were all very personable and professional and even agreed to make a minor correction on one of the extensions on a downspout. As they progressed on the installation, it became very apparent they wanted to insure we would be totally satisfied and pleased with our new gutters. The salesperson came out to give us a bid and was very understanding that we were gathering multiple bids. He was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable about the products and options available. He did not give us the "hard sell" that I have gotten from some other companies, with an offer of a lower price if we commit on the spot, and gave us his best and final price up front. Sela was the first company of 4 to provide bids, but beat the next best price by 10%. The salesman even came back for a follow up visit to discuss additional ideas I had gotten from the other bids to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the plan and placement of all downspouts as our lot offers some challenges for drainage and our existing setup was not optimal. The project itself was completed within about 3-4 weeks from the signing of the contract (as expected) and the installation process was easy. We weren't even required to be home as it was all exterior work. The guys showed up at the time we were told they would be there and it didn't take them more than a few hours to remove the old ones and put up the new ones. They were quick, efficient, and didn't leave behind any mess. I was really quite impressed that 2 guys could knock the job out so quickly! I had met with 4 companies total while gathering bids and Sela was the best combination of price, knowledge, and customer service in my mind. The project even came with a lifetime warranty on labor and materials, which was not offered by the others. We've had a few rainstorms since the job was done and haven't had any issues. Overall, I highly recommend Sela Gutter Connection for your project.

Great! Our Sales rep, Gavin, was very responsive and answered all of our questions. We recommended him to our neighbor. Everyone I talked to at SELA was helpful and informative. The staff set my expectations for install and the installer did a wonderful job. Our gutters are seamless and look clean and professional. We are very happy with the results!

The work crew was able to get the work done about a week earlier than quoted. The basic installation went well despite very hot and humid weather conditions. One portion of the project required a custom design to appropriately drain water away from the house. Upon completion of the work, I returned home to see that it was not done according to the estimate. One call to the crew leader and a crew was onsite the next day to redo the portion to our satisfaction. They even said that if we didn't like the way the downspout worked in a few days, we should give them a call and they would come back with another solution. The gutter system works perfectly and our family room was dry after several summer rains!

I recently had an excellent experience with Sela Gutter. Earlier this spring the ladder slipped out from under me while I was cleaning out my gutters. Thankfully I wasn't hurt. I called Sela Gutter the next day and in less than 24 hours I had a custom inspection and quote waiting for me. Decided to install the LeafX clog free gutter system and I have been thoroughly impressed. The system has handled heavy rains with ease and no clogs yet. It has a full warranty. Throughout the process I was very impressed with the professionalism and expertise of everyone at Sela. Albert was very responsive and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Their workmanship is top notch and I expect this system to last a lifetime...best thing is I no longer have to get on a ladder to clean my gutters!
