The Hammarlund Nursery has deep roots that take us back to 1957. Kenneth R. Hammarlund started in the landscaping business in 1957 as Hammarlund Landscaping. He began with a retail nursery and designing and implementing residential landscapes. Ken’s wife, Joyce, was the bookkeeper in these early years. Son Ken A. Hammarlund became increasingly involved. The business continued to prosper. Today, Hammarlund Nursery, under the leadership of Ken A. While you certainly can provide your landscaper with plants, keep in mind that some nurseries provide discounts to landscaping companies, therefore potentially lowering your materials cost. Beyond the cost of the plants themselves, you need to have additional materials like topsoil and mulch for the project. Most likely, your landscaper can get a discount on these materials as well, so it’s worth speaking with them before making any large purchases.
