The process went very smoothly. They removed the old windows and took them away. Installing the windows took only a day, and Dave came back to finish the wrapping. The windows look great and they have made a difference in my electric and gas bills for heating and air conditioning. I got 4 estimates and Daves came in the lowest. I would and will probably hire them again.

George came out and measured the windows and made some great suggestions on what windows would look good in our living room and kitchen. A couple weeks later the installer came and installed the windows. One window was incorrect so we had to wait a couple more weeks for them to order another. The wrapping was unacceptable on all windows and Dave agreed and promptly had them redone. We are very happy w/the windows and thought Dave and George were extremely responsive to any problems or concerns we had.

It went well. I selected this contractor based on prior entries and he delivered as expected.

Received several bids and reduced to 2 groups - weighed the pros and cons and went with George. Measuring was completed by George and windows ordered. 2 Staff were involved in the tear out and installment. An error was made in the order for two windows, they took immediate responsibility and corrected this to our satisfaction.

Came to look, said he'd fax over an estimate but never did. Repeated phone calls were not returned, and calls to the office dead-ended into an indifferent receptionist that couldn't care less whether I received help or not.

Excellent from beginning to end. George had many good suggestions. I am so pleased with the end results. The workmen were very professional and efficient. The disruption was minimal. The job took a bit longer than anticipated due to supplier issues, but all was handled to my satisfaction.

It went very well. They did the job on time and did a good job cleaning up afterwards.

Subs are used for installation - we would have appreciated a little more communication about how long the installation was going to take. Otherwise, it went well.

Our home has distinctive arches at the roofline. We wanted those wrapped (in character with the other fascia on the house). Contractor stated during the sales call that he would not be able to custom-form and metal-wrap those pre-existing arches. He was also most interested in quoting on vinyl siding, although willing to quote on metal siding as well. When the bid arrived, it had a 2-year warranty on labor.

Contractor's roofing estimator arrived unexpectedly on a weekend, knowing the street, but not the specific address he was to come to. He knew the character of the roof he was looking for, though, and since there were only two like it on the block, managed to locate our house by process of elimination. (The estimator was relieved to know we were acquainted with contractor. We think he was competent enough as far as the estimation went.)

When he would describe things he would talk down to you. Does not have good manners kept bringing up and wanting to know more on a family death. Not very sensitive there.

Overall it went well and they did a good job. We ran into some hitches that they did not catch that ended up costing more money and taking more time, but I believe they handled it well. Some HVAC piping had to be rerouted, but they split the cost with us.

They were very good. There was one particular man that came and did most of the work. They were about half of the price of the other companies I checked.

It went pretty good. They made a mistake, it didn't pass inspection but they came right back out and fixed it. The pricing was very competitive. The workers were very neat and didn't leave a mess. Also they showed up on time. They were friendly and easy to schedule appointments with.

Our siding was damaged from one of the past storms. We had aluminum siding that was 15 years old and a color match and quality match could not be found so we decided to switch to vinyl. George Fitzenberger discussed our options and gave us his recommendations for a quality product that would have a long endurance. The work was started in the spring when weather was still a factor. Once everything got started, the work progressed well. A few of our screens were torn during the tear off of the old siding because of the sharp edges of the aluminum. The screens were replaced by the time the work was complete. There was careful attention to detail and the head of the crew was an experienced professional with years of experience for the company. This is the third job I have had done by this company and they have consistently earned an A rating.

It went great. George came over and helped us decide on what to do since we had some quirky windows that were not standard. He recommended combining two windows into one large window to save money (and it improved the appearance too). His workers were on time, cleaned up when they left. The only thing I wish we had done differently is to have all the windows be new construction. The replacement windows (while they look great) are a bit smaller and when you have windows that seem small.

Great from start to finish. George, one of the owners, made the sales call painless and informative. Both he and the installer were friendly, professional, and down to earth, a real breath of fresh air compared to the high pressure sales of some other companies. The project grew a little from estimate to final, but always with full disclosure and full consent. Even with that they went over and above, dealing with many of the small unexpected things that always come up in a renovation project without tacking on to the bill. Quality and features of their window vendor (VISTA) are great; all the bells and whistles without the price tag. Finding Exterior Enhancements is why I subscribe to Angie's List.

This is such a great company to work with! Exterior Enhancements is in the process of replacing all of our windows but I called them for two more jobs due to some hail and wind damage last summer. This job was for roof replacement and George came out to explain what products he recommended. He also brought out the siding samples so I could pick the color I wanted and make sure it would work well with the new roof. As soon as weather permitted the crew came out exactly when they said they would. They worked two long days and completed the project. The roof looks amazing. The crew was courteous and professional. In the last couple of years I have had sprinklers put in and sod laid and I had another contractor look at the roof. In two of these cases I had very bad experiences with the contractors not keeping their word (or not being properly licensed and treating me rudely because I asked for the information). For old fashioned service and quality work, call this company!

Great. It took a while for the work to start, but once it did was finished quickly. They did great work, and were professional and courteous. Overall a very positive experience. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again if we decide to replace gutters or do some other type of project.

No real problems - deadlines slipped a bit, but kept us informed and it wasn't a time critical project.

Everything (estimate & installation & cleanup) went perfectly. Great price, great window quality and installation!

We obtained bids from 3 siding companies, both vinyl and steel. We selected Exterior Enhancements based on the quality of the products offered, color/style choices, rep's knowledge of the product and that the rep (George) was very nice to work with. George provided the bid when he promised and answered all of our questions. (Some of the other companies we looked at didn't follow through and didn't even come back to pick up their sample books. We figured they didn't need the business!) There was a slight delay in starting the project due to a previous job, but once they got rolling, they still finished on time. The crew worked diligently every day and kept the yard clean. Dave was on-site several times inspecting all that was going on and making sure we were happy. On the last day, they walked through everything with us and put back all the fixtures. They even came back months later to tidy up a few items we couldn't finalize in the Winter weather.

The whole project went smooth from start to finish. George, the owner, came on time and gave me an estimate, which was in line or less than other estimates I had received. Two of the windows were in a bedroom, and because of the St. Paul building code, could not be fitted with replacement windows and needed the new construction windows (for egress). A second appointment was made with someone to measure, he also showed up on time. And the installation went very well---the trim around the bedroom windows had to be replaced, and it matches the trim in the rest of the house, very nice. I had done a lot of research, and the windows installed were from Simonton, which has a very good reputation for quality for the price. I am very satisfied with the windows and the installation, and will have this firm replace the rest of my windows, hopefully next year.

I checked all the references for this company. All people that have used them were enthusiastic about their services. Checked with BBB & commerce dept. and they came out on top. Work was excellent, house looks like a new residence, I am delighted with their services. Dave is an excellent judge of color and has good advice.

I accepted the set back without blaming anyone. However I would think that the manufacture would have some sort of quality controls in place to prevent these things. Arrangements to do at certain times were never kept. One day Dave made arrangements to arrive and start work "mid-morning, definitely before noon." Showed up at 2:15, no call to say he wouldn't be arriving on time. Next day was to show up at 8:00, he showed up at 9:45, worker showed up at 10:15. Contractor stated that clean up would be done each day at the end of work, never done. The first day of tear off, worker hauled all old siding from back yard through garage and piled on side of house. Worker hauled all old siding from front of house, across driveway and piled on side of house. Garage and driveway were never swept. Both days of tear off I had to go out and sweep the area. I was told that after they "clean up" we would have to be careful of the stray screws, nails. I swept up dozens from the drive and garage.
