Overall I was very pleased with the service from Richfield Plumbing. I received a callback a few days after posting an online request and was given a rough quote of about $750 for two exterior frost-proof faucet installs. One of the faucets was a simple replacement, while the other was moved about half-way down the house.The plumber who arrived was right on time and set about quickly to finish the work. I had to work while he was in the house, but I almost forgot he was there since it was so quiet! About 1.5 hours later he had completed the work and showed me how to care for the new frost-proof faucets.I would definitely recommend using them again and I'm planning to call them to estimate a basement bathroom rough-in in the future.

They came when I called them and they had professional guys. I thought they did a good job. They were expensive but not anymore than others. I paid them by the hour and the job entailed a few days of work so it added up. I got the job done and it works. I am back in business and it was worth it to get it done. It was $136 an hour.

He was here a total of seven times. He came right away. He also did a garbage disposal and a bathroom drain and that was $250. I would use them again.

The plumber that came out from Richfield Plumbing Co was a very nice person. He was prompt. Everything was excellent. Their prices were reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

They were fantastic and they are the best. They are very pleasant to deal with. They do excellent work. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future if needed.

It went very well. The installer was a little skeptical about getting the garbage disposal to fit with the new, deeper sink and warned me he might not be able to make it work, but in the end,was able to connect it all up. He did a great job, everything was cleaned up afterwards and it all works great.

They do a good job. They cleaned the drain and had some problem, so had to repair it. The guy who came was nice.

From the 1st contact, responded to be a "live" person to the completion of the job very professional and punctual. When I called to explain the problem the office person explained their services and the charges involved as well as satisfactorly explaining why my idea of a repair was not practical. It was also explained to me the time parameters and that the representative would call before arriving. Sure enough at 8.30AM the next day the call came that he would be there in 15 minutes and he arrived at that time. I explained that there was an additional problem, which I had not mentioned in my inital call and that was the frequency of both sink drains backing up. Our man, whose name I believe is Ross, proceeded to further collaborate the impracticality of repair and in a short time had replaced the disposal unit. He then further explained the p[ossibilities of the source of the backup and proceeded to go to work on that problem.Fortunatly, it didn't take long and we no longer have back-ups. Very, very satisfying service.

The plumber, Ross, removed the disposal, installed a new garbage disposal unit and replaced the laundry tub faucet with a new faucet. Not only is he a really nice guy, he is very professional, prompt and gets the job done in a timely manner. He also put slippers on over his shoes and cleaned up the work area when he completed the job. I would highly recommend Richfield Plumbing and this plumber.

Initial estimate sought for how to fix problem on a poorly installed garbage disposal and a reversed trap. Given two options, one at $150 and other over $800. Chose less expensive option: remove garbage disposal and return trap to original position. When the serviceman arrived (different person from estimator) he said that the trap couldn't be returned to its original state. I was a bit bothered because had been told one thing first and now another, but the gentleman seemed very knowledgable, so had no issue with the solution. Received bill for $202. Wasn't particularly upset since it was $50 dollars over, but when I called to ask about it the person on the line was downright rude. I have used these folks a few times before for drain cleaning and it was a much better experience. I will not use again. The entire experience was out of sync and strange. Following my call to verify the most recent work cost I received a bill from them for work done in January for an additional $200. They did come out and checked for a leak that I had and they couldn't find; regardless, I didn't receive a bill until now... very strange. I will pay it and cross them off my list. Too bad.

Prompt, quick response, and would use again

I went to my local hardware store and asked them for a recommendation on someone to repair it. They recommend a handyman service that came out and fixed it. Within a short period of time, 2 weeks, it was leaking again. I went on Angie's List. I found two companies in Richfield. I called Richfield Plumbing. They came out. They were on time. The man put little slippers over his shoes. He put a mat on the floor in front of the toilet and on top to keep it clean. He found that there was a 3/8 inch gap between the bottom of the toilet and the floor. He knew exactly how to fix it and he put in the proper repair. I have not had a problem since. He was very professional. He only charged me $158 dollars. I was very happy with that. It included travel time.

The female who answered the phone was friendly and said she would have someone return my call when he finished up on the phone call he was on. He phoned about 15 minutes later, and was very pleasant and asked questions. He said he was just leaving for an appt a few blocks away, so would stop by approx 1 hr from then to see the situation. Bill was at my home when promised, gave me an idea of another option to try before plumbers would have to take more drastic ($$) measures. He was very friendly and professional. Not only did he not even charge me to stop by, but he even called 2 days later to see what had happened! I was able to (at least temporarily) get the drain running, but if I do have to have anything more done to the plumbing, I will absolutely call them back for the job! This rather brief stop over, made a customer out of me. This small kindness and Bill's honesty, made me loyal to Richfield plumbing. Thank you.

They were fair with the price and I didn't feel like I was being ripped off, and they did a great job.

They came on time. They are very good. I have used them for a couple plugged toilets. My basement toilet has a special part which he ordered for me. He told me that he would call me when the part was ordered. It only took about two days. He came right out and fixed it quickly. He invoiced me and I didn't have to give him my credit card as a back up. He came out on a Sunday. Their prices are a little high. I don't mind paying a little more because they do a nice job. The two different guys who have come out are really nice. I felt comfortable with them in my house.

The Richfield Plumbing Company is very prompt. The plumber who came out was very nice and courteous. It was just one man who came out to do our job, but we were very happy with the results, and the price was very reasonable for the amount of work.

Their services were okay. They got here very quick, being as that they are 4 blocks away. They are very respective of privacy. They always clean up their messes, also.

He came and did the job, without fanfare. Went to work efficiently, effectively, cleaned up the residue and everything was done to my satisfaction.

They are quick when you call them. They are quick to come to the house to start the work. Their workers are very nice and easy to work with. They are the only plumbers I will call.

They were punctual, they did good work, and they worked within our budget.

I told them what I wanted over the phone and they came out the next day with the parts. It only took them an hour. They cleaned up after themselves.

Richfield Plumbing fit us into their schedule at the last minute. They came and unclogged a drain. They were very friendly and taking time to fit us into their schedule was greatly appreciated!

Excellent in all respects. The plumbers arrived on time and with the materials they needed to fix our problems. They worked efficiently and the work has held up well. We are new to this home, and they have found and corrected some difficulties left by the previous owners (the garbage disposal was never installed properly, for instance). We received a referral to them from our neighbor. We would recommend them to others.

I felt their price was reasonable. I was very pleased with their work. The gentleman was able to repair things verses replacing to help save me money. He was very nice to work with.
