MR RAIN IRRIGATION

After a very prompt and on-time visit to prepare an estimate, the crew arrived on the scheduled day 1/2 hour early. Sheryl had called the night before to confirm the time that they would arrive. After dealing with a very hot day, the hard packed clay and rocks, tunneling under the driveway and laying over 600' of drip irrigation line, they finished about 6:00 p.m and left everything clean, swept and working. They instructed us on the use of the controller and how to adjust the spray head. After about a week an area where they dug under the driveway was settling. We called and they came that day to fill in the area and reposition the spray head. Great job guys.

The quoting process was very smooth and handled in one visit. The installation was delayed one day from the original schedule, but it was completed in one day. The crew installing the equipment seemed proficient and knowledgeable. The disruption to the grass was more severe than I anticipated. A swing set was not returned to its original position and some extra parts were left in the yard. One correction was handled promptly.

They came on time and everything went well. I was happy with their happy work.

Fabulous! Shane arrived on time, did a great job, answered my questions and didn't complain about my 4 yr. old following him around!! He was very friendly and professional and I would definitely recommend them AND use them again!

A technician came and looked at our system after a scheduling error on their part had them missing the first appointment. The system needed some parts, so he said he would call us and come back another time. He never did. My husband called them and they set an appointment and the technician failed to show up again. Now our lawn is dead.

Mike Nagle (aka Mr. Rain) very nicely came by to review the situation. It turns out their normal appointments usually are billed their hourly rate but when I called I explained that we had never had a sprinkler system and could we simply get an estimate for the work. Mike came out and could not have been friendlier and helpful. His wife helped set-up the appointment which worked perfectly. I ended not being able to be at the house when they came over but I had reviewed the work with Mike, his wife, and left a note and they did a perfect job. And the job came in $60 under the estimate! I just received my bill and we'll pay it right away. I look forward to working with them again soon.

I called to schedule an appointment and it was set up in-line with my schedule. I drained in-house lines, though they had not asked me to. When Luke, the employee, arrived, I showed him where the timer and blow-out inlet were located. He asked if I had drained the in-house lines and closed the valve to avoid water damage to the basement. I confirmed I had, and he asked if I was sure (which I appreciated). About a half hour later, he knock on the door and told me he had finished. He also mentioned that I had a missing head in the back. I told Luke I was aware of that and that I'd call in spring to have it replaced.

We are very pleased with their work and professionalism. They are just plain kind people to work with.

From the initial phone message, which was returned within an hour, to the repeated visits by Mike Naegle and another colleague of his, the service from Mr. Rain is outstanding and remarkable. Mike, Sherrill, and I'm sorry I don't recall the name of the third individual, were very responsive and professional. I was in dire need of attention and was getting no where with the company who installed the irrigation system. The problem with our system is a difficult one and has not yet been resolved. However, due to the season (fall) we decided to have our system winterized without correcting the problem. Mike has assured us that he and his crew will attend to our problem in early spring. This experience was the most satisfying I've had in years with service, in spite of the fact that the problem was not corrected. I have no concern whatsoever that the situation will get resolved next spring. Mr. Rain provided outstanding, superb, professional, responsive customer attention!

Mr. Rain (Mike Nagle) provided excellent service and workmanship. I had two other estimates for this work and his was not only the best cost, but I felt he knew the most about these systems. He was clear and the installation was uncomplicated. He took care of pulling the work permit (he's a master plumber) and had he crew out when he said he would and finished on time. The installers missed one head in the system. Mike came back personally and installed it himself. They also forgot to clean up the sidewalk after their work, but Mike took care of it. Mike's wife, Sharrell, is his office and takes care of all appointments, scheduling, etc. She is very professional and prompt. Mike submits a firm bid, so even if he changes what gets installed in the field, the savings go to him. Had I not gotten two other estimates on this work, I would have been very uncomfortable with this approach. I think the savings should always be returned to the owner.

Performed work on time, excellent quality installation, reasonably priced and excellent follow-up service (e.g., winterization of system).

The appointment setter was also very kind and apologetic for having to reschedule.

Mr. Rain have been great to work with. We found recommendations for Mr. Rain a few years ago on Angie's List. Mike Nagle came out at that time and gave us a quote. Unfortunately, that did not turn out to be the right year for us to make the investment. We called this spring and Mike's wife found our old paper work, and Mike give us an updated quote. Mike Nagle and his wife are always very responsive and return calls promtly. The Mr. Rain team took a day and half to install and test our system. Mike stopped by after the system was installed to make sure that everything was ok. They happily moved a sprinkler head a few days later to accomodate for a deck and hot tub that are being installed. All of their work was scheduled for convenience to our availability.

He (Harold?) was on time, courteous, and walked through the problem areas with me. He took the time to diagnose each area and gave me his recommendations, which included him adjusting the sprinkler heads right there. He fixed the broken head. About a week later, I got my bill for $100, mainly for the service call. The other quote I received was to add a new controller, put in an additional zone, and would have cost $900. May be the most optimal route, but this certainly seems to be a more affordable option that could play out to be effective enough in the long haul. I will definitely call Mr. Rain again. Outstanding.

I called three times over two weeks to set up an appointment for someone to come out and look at my broken sprinkler system. Each time I was told that they were very busy, and that I would be called back to set up an appointment. I called three times because they were so highly rated. That's two more calls than I normally would have made. I did not receive a call back. Perhaps their popularity has outgrown their ability to provide good service?

It took a day for them to return my message because they were very busy (I called in the peak spring time). They were able to get us scheduled within a couple of days and said they could be out Tuesday after 5:30, my requested time. I was getting concerned that they weren't going to show, but just after 7:00 Luke arrived. He did a fantastic job and was very professional. I am 100% happy with this business, and I will definitely call them again. The price was fantastic for all the work they did, too!

We could not be happier with Mr. Rain, and the crew who installed the system. I had solicited two bids, and a neighbor who also had Mr. Rain install a system, had requested bids from 5 installers. Mr. Rain was very price competitive, and his company's experience (20+ years) and our gut instinct pushed us to go with him. The two crew members had a combined experience of 17 years (one 12 years, the other 5), which surprised me, I was expecting seasonal workers. They did an exceptional job with the installation, keeping me apprised of progress throughout the project. If I ever had a question or a concern, they bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. I couldn't be happier with the Mr. Rain.

They did a great job fixing & expanding our sprinkler system. They worked very quickly & our new sprinkler system works much better than it did in the past (another company had designed the old sprinkler system). I would highly recommend this company.

Called for an estimate, and they made an appointment the next day. He showed up on time (very important to us). He explained their system and the parts they chose to use in depth and was very receptive to our questions. We had an estimate in hand when he left. We chose to go with another vendor because they were a little cheaper and could perform the work a little sooner.

The team did everything they could to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the work. They use only top of the line materials, and their pricing is very competitive. Shane arrived on time and took care of my complete system in an hours' time. Compared to my past experience with another large lawn irrigation company, I was pleased with the quality and price of the job. While he was here, he suggested that I move sprinkler heads out from behind spruces which had grown large so that the lawn would be better covered. I thought that an excellent idea.

I did some research on lawn irrigation companies for a client, and from start to finish Mr. Rain was fabulous! I spoke with Sharrell on my very first call and she was so helpful. And I liked how they made time right away for an estimate. Mike, came out to give an estimate and he was actually there 1/2 an hour early, so that when I had arrived, I didn't have to stand in the cold while he looked at the yard. I was very impressed. They had an estimate to me in about a day, and their prices were reasonable. They guarantee their work and have been in business for a while. You can tell they know their stuff. I have been so pleased with them and their service mentality! I truly appreciate service companies like these.

I have a very hilly, irregular yard with lots of curb. He did a fabulous job setting up and has been very attentive. In terms of service, he's ahead of everyone and responds to calls right away.
