Reed Trafton was responsive and punctual. He explained things to me in a respectful way and made me feel confident about the choices I was making. He was also patient with me when I took forever to make up my mind. I felt I got a fair price (competitive). The roof looks great. The guys did a nice job cleaning up. I'm very happy with the experience.

Prompt, Great service and best prices around! I had 2 other quotes that were over $500 higher. I called Reed for an estimate, was amazed at the price and my gutters and downspouts were installed within the week. Just in time for a big storm! I couldn't be happier!!

Mike came out to look at the roof and REALLY knows roofs. A couple of significant things that other roofers missed were 1) vents were not placed evenly and should be re positioned 2) a portion of the roof that would be considered flat (off of our garage) did not need to be treated as such (with really ugly roofing options) as code only requires that the special treatment of flat roofs need be done above living spaces only and the garage is not a living space. These were 2 things that really set them apart from the other companies that I contacted. I asked for addresses of homes in my area with the roof colors that I was considering and had addresses within days of the request. The crew that came were great. It was a time consuming job as we had 2 layers of roofing to remove. They did a great job and any issues that were raised were addressed immediately. The company provides a great product with knowledgeable staff and competitively priced. Glad I went with them. I could not be more pleased with the experience.

The work proceeded exactly as was promised. The entire job took only three days around various rain events. Our project manager Matt was very responsive and gave us his undivided attention, and great attention to the details of the job. Unforeseen problems were handled in a very fair and democratic manner. Example 1: in combining a couple old stacks that were too close to each other to flash, the movement of the stacks caused an unintended leak inside a ceiling. Matt got the plumbers right back out to fix the leak and then cover the cost of the ceiling repair. This was all done within 24 hours. Example 2: We are very pleased with the quality of what is a very complex job with the various pitches of roof and multiple flat roofs. In the end the job was completed in 3 days’ time just as Matt had promised in our contracting phase. Overall we found Matt and the company to be very responsive and attentive to the job - the communication was absolutely outstanding! And Finally: We asked for about 7 bids from various roofing companies on this job and received 2, one of which was Roofs R Us. It appears the company is not afraid of difficult jobs and even enjoys taking on the challenge. The cost was high compared to any other roofing jobs we have had done at other properties, yet of the two bids we received Roofs R Us was the lowest by far, with 5 of the seven companies not even following through with a return call, a visit or a bid! We both recommend Roofs R Us without reservation for other's roofing jobs and will definitely be using them again as we need roofing work with other properties.

I appreciated Mike Eastman, the initial estimator?s meeting and professionalism. I also wanted to also acknowledge the foreman ?Moises? and the crew. They worked very hard and were professional. I recently bought a house that had no idea the importance of gutters until it RAINED. Reed came out to my home for an estimate and it was actually really reasonable compared to other quote. I called to schedule and had the gutters put on the following week. Eric and Moses came out to put on the gutters, they said it would take about 8 hrs just to be sure they had enough time. 4 hours later they were done. They were amazing and explained everything along the way. It can rain all it wants to now! :) One thing i would say that needs attention is the lady receptionists. All they can do is answer the phone and take down your number. I think they should be able to take payments and have access to the calendars. I would think it would make more work to have the sales reps and installers constantly returning phone calls. :)

Roofs R Us was very professional, organized, and had good communication throughout the process. The dumpster and materials arrived on the same day. The workers ripped off the roof and put the new one on in one day (roughly 13 hours). We have a large house so they needed to come back on Saturday morning to finish the clean-up. I was impressed with the final product and the speed at which they were able to accomplish the large job.

They worked with our timeline. They did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves as well.

We are very pleased with Roofs R US. We appreciated the professionalism and clarify of Matt's presentation when he gave us an estimate on our roof. Our roof has an unusual shape with two peaks and we wanted to make sure it was as waterproof as possible and designed to avoid ice dams. Once we agreed to the estimate the roof was installed promptly. Cleanup was thorough. There was a significant delay of a few weeks with replacing the gutters that we were told was due to a delay from the original supplier. In the interim Roofs R US directed the gutters away from the house to avoid water damage and communicated with us. Later they discounted the price of the roof by several hundred dollars as compensation for the delay. When it was finished Matt conducted a walk through which was also a professional finish to the job. Ours is 30s era home in St. Paul and he seemed very familiar with the problems of older houses and gave us helpful recommendations. We're pleased with the appearance of the roof and are glad we went with a company that has a strong guarantee on the material and labor.

Great job on a new roof with peak vents (best for cooling). It was a fairly large job, but they finished in one very long day. It was a hard working crew that was pleasant to work with and very professional. Also, this was the best (lowest) estimate of three top Angie's list outfits I got bids from.

We just had our house and garage and shop building completely re-roofed with top quality Owens Corning Duration Storm shingles with an excellent 50 year transferable warranty; seamless gutters, down spouts, and leaf guards installed; AND a 22 inch solar dome put in the roof to light up our windowless bathroom. One very hot day for the roof and another very hot day for the gutter team - WOW. Day after installation, we had a heavy downpour and to say I was ecstatic would be an understatement - - no water sheeting over the old gutters flooding my gardens and deck. And the roof looks wonderful. Best of all was the price for everything was very reasonable and from a local company. Special kudos for Dan our salesman and Moses the site supervisor (we had some minor issues and Moses went the extra mile to take care of them.) Very pleased and would refer them to anyone.

These guys did a fine job. The repair person even came late (7:00pm) to do the work. We had some miscommunication on the date and time we was to arrive but he come out the next day and repaired the flashing. I found Roofs R Us to be very professional and easy to work with. They provided an estimate right away that was accurate and they didn't try to sell me more.

Roofs R Us was punctual, and performed excellent work. They had two different crews - one for the fascia and one for the gutters. Both were absolutely excellent. They were friendly, professional, fast and the job was amazing

The whole process was pleasant from the initial meeting to the final roof. Their estimator had good ideas on how to improve the ventilation in our 1 1/2 story house and they where phenomenally fast! Inspection was no problem.

Roofs R Us installed a new roof on our house and we are very pleased with the experience. Mike was great to work with, he spent a lot of time with us answering questions and walking us through the process. We had some attic ventilation issues causing premature failure of the shingles. They installed additional venting and also installed new rafter baffles in our attic and also cleared insulation from the existing baffles. The crew was very professional and worked efficiently completing the tear off of the old roof and installation of the new in one day. The new roof looks great, the work site was cleaned up perfectly, and the dumpster was removed the following morning. Very highly recommended!

They were very efficient and go the job done in a very timely fashion. They got backed up due to weather; however, since this was a rental and I needed the roof done prior to the tenants moving in, they were very accomodating having a crew come in over the weekend to get the job done. The roof and gutters look good. As for my personal residence, they removed and installed new gutters. The house is very tall and they had no issues getting the job done fast. I wouldnt have even known they were there if I didnt run into them when I came home from work. Throughout both jobs, Matt Douhy with Roofs R US was very accomodating and responsive. I would likely use them in the future and recommend them to others.

My experience with Roofs R Us started out with Mike's sales pitch. Wow! He was very prepared, educational, and friendly. I had bids from 4 companies, but Mike really stood out with his knowledge and willingness to answer questions. Mike informed me it would probably be a 1-day job, depending on if a redeck was needed or not. My installation was originally scheduled for 5/31, but had to be rescheduled due to rain. We rescheduled for 6/9. Since I work from home, I was told it would be loud and Mike let me know I did not have to be onsite the day of the installation. I returned home at around 5pm, and the roof was well underway! I know the crew wouldn't clean continuously while working, but I was surprised at the state of my street, alley, and neighbors' yards. There was trash everywhere and I was worried I was going to get complaints. I tried to find someone to talk to to find out if the roof had needed a redeck, but could not get anyone's attention. After about an hour, I came out again and was able to ask one of the crew what was going on with the roof. He said they were set to finish that night but couldn't give me additional information. I left a few minutes later, and came home that night to realize they had not finished. I would have appreciated a quick phone call, email, or text with an update. The next morning, I got up at 6:30am to take my dog for a walk, and some of the crew was already back. I was able to find the Project Manager to ask him questions, but he didn't seem to know how much was left to do. I was told the Project Manager would be onsite all day, but it was clear he had not been there at the end of the evening before. The crew worked for a few hours, before leaving a little before 9:30am. I was not given any debriefing by the PM or crew, and although most of the mess had been cleaned up, there was still plenty of nails, shingles, and trash for me to clean up afterwards. Overall, my roof and skylights look great! My experience with Roofs R Us was okay, but I was expecting above and beyond customer service and communication based on Mike's pitch. No communication from start to finish of the job was just not acceptable to me... I did contact Mike and Matthew through email after the job and expressed my concerns. They said they would share the feedback I gave with their team and use it as a learning experience.

The appointment went great. Michael was the provider of the service. He called and let me know he would be a few minutes late due to traffic, which was great. He stayed on task and gave me an honest assessment of the quality of the roof, while conducting some minor caulking, etc. Prior to the inspection, he warned me there could be some hail damage based on storm reports, but he could not find any that impacted the roof. He indicated remaining lifespan on roof would be 3 years or so. He also indicated that some shingles that were damaged are still functional and that repair of these would likely result in greater problem. I appreciated his honesty and was glad he wasn't trying to push a replacement when not needed. I really appreciated Michael's candor and recommendations. I would definitely contact Roof R Us for a review of the roof in the future and would include them in an estimate for a replacement in the future.

Matt was very informative in giving us a run down of all the services we were looking at and also giving us a detailed quote for all the services we were considering. The job had to be delayed once due to rain but it was promptly rescheduled for later in the month, when 4 days were available. It was suppose to rain again the afternoon of the reschedule but Matt made sure that enough workers got here early and they worked in sections in case it did start raining. They got it complete before the rain even started! Even with a mishap at the supplier that caused a second delay with the facia and gutters, we were kept in the loop and communication was great. All of our plants were still standing and the yard was cleaned up wonderfully after each step. I think we only found about a dozen nails, which isn't much considering how many we found with our last roofing job! Our house looks amazing now and we would highly recommend Roofs R Us to anyone looking to get a new roof, facia, gutters or window/door wraps!
