Matt was great to work with from start to finish. Installers worked fast and stayed late to complete the project. Price was better than other companies we spoke with and the product was better quality.

Completed as scheduled. Great communication. Matt and his crews were very thorough and prompt in all aspects.

Price was very competitive. The salesperson was knowledgeable and easy to deal with - no high pressure sales tactics. Everything was completed on time. I was a little worried about the plants/landscaping around the house, but they did a good job of protecting them as they did the work.Clean up after the job was very good - save a little debris under the mobile dumpster you wouldn't even know they were there. I would not hesitate to recommend them for either job.

Terrific job. Very friendly and patient throughout the process. Excellent communication. When a delay came up, he called right away, and the job was still finished in one day. Very thoughtful cleanup. Punctual trash and debris haul away. We were very surprised at the price because it was so reasonable compared to what we were expecting. Billing was very easy and the price, as promised, didn't change from quote to final bill. Would absolutely come back to this company again.

Crew was very professional to have on property. Dumpster was delivered early on the work day and collected by the end of the next day. Roof looks great. Matt was easy to work with and talked through the estimated work in detail prior to the project.

That went okay. We made an appointment. I'm a busy man, probably five times more than the person who called me. At first, when he called me back about the appointment he was suddenly busy because he had to do do something else and he wanted to change the appointment. I was like, "Dude, I'm a busy man too. Come on. I'm already on my way out there." All of a sudden he had to lend some tools out to one of his crew. I don't care. I wasn't really impressed with him. He didn't do any work. I paid for an inspection. It was just a waste of money. You don't hire a guy who is pissed off to show up on the time he set up to show up there. You don't hire a guy like that. I paid him to be there. I didn't think a lot of him. I thought he sucked. He is a busy man. I wasted $50 in the first place. They took my $50, gave me a bad attitude and left. We made a couple of appointments. Finally, I said, "Okay, be here this afternoon." It's a bit of drive. It's not my house. It's my daughter's house in Minneapolis. So I had to drive. It's takes me half an hour to get there. As I'm going, he wants to cancel because he is busy.

I called on Saturday (October 4th), scheduled an appointment for them to come fix a rain gutter. They said they could come by on Thursday (October 9th). They called me at 8PM on Wednesday night (tonight) and said, and I quote, "we're going to decline coming out to work on your gutter because we're just too busy with other stuff." Thanks for wasting 4 days of my time when i could have been trying to find a company who COULD help me!! This company deserves less than an "F" in my estimation.

Done in one day as expected. I had them do a house prior to this one, and can't think of anyone I'd have do it except Matt and his crew. I feel like Matt estimates out the work like he'd do his own house. I was very impressed with recommending to add the additional ice barrier due to the roof slope, and additional attic vents. Price is very competitive.

we called to setup a quote for a new roof to be installed on our house. Matt came out and was very professional and easy to talk to. He went through the entire process from start to finish with pictures on his iPad. we went though shingle types and color samples he brought with him. he left on a good note. We got 4 quotes for a roof and Matt's was the cheapest and we liked him the best so we called him to make it official, he asked us to pay a $1,000 retainer over the phone, then we setup a date for the install. Sept 19th the dumpster was placed in the driveway (will come back to this later) and the crew showed up in the morning and had the roof torn off by noon. the roof was on and they cleaned up and were gone around 7-8pm. They had to come back the next day to finish a couple things (install a roof vent and paint the furnace vent). After they left I inspected the roof and noticed a couple problems. 1. they didn't re-install the gutter guards I had on all the gutters and they through them away in the dumpster. 2.I had asked them to silicone some holes in the siding from where TV cable had gone through it. they did not I called and brought these items up to Matt and he sent someone out right away to install new gutter guards and silicone the holes. The Dumpster.. So we had the roof installed on a Friday so the dumpster sat in our driveway over the weekend. which was fine because it allowed me time to fill it with some junk we had in the attic. Monday rolled around and the dumpster was suppose to be picked up. It was not. So I called Matt and he called the dumpster company and they picked it up on Tuesday. After it was picked up I noticed the damage to the driveway. They had drug the dumpster off of the wood and onto the concrete making long scrape marks and cracking an edge off of one of the sections of concrete. not to mention all the debris left over. broken glass, nails, roofing granules, water stains etc. also the truck that was backed into the driveway to pick up the dumpster had leaked a lot of oil staining the white concrete driveway. I spent a couple hours cleaning the oil and sweeping all the debris up. that part is somewhat expected. the thing that p***** me off was the permanent damage to the concrete. (scrapes and cracks). I called Matt about this and he asked me to send pics of the damage. which I did. he sent the pics to the dumpster company (LIGHTNING DUMPSTER) and he had asked that they compensate me for the damages. as of now I haven't heard back from Matt or Lightning dumpster about any compensation for the damages. I know Roofs R US is not directly responsible for the damages but they are hiring Lightning dumpster to do a service for them. and if lightning dumpster does a bad job that reflects poorly on Roofs R US. But the dumpster problem aside. The Roof looks awesome and they did a great job on that. they showed up on time and got it installed in one day. clean up was pretty good. I still found nails and other small items. I recommend going over the grass and driveway with a fine tooth comb if you have kids or pets or if you walk bare foot outside. also to prevent flat tires because its hard for them to get every nail. I gave them an A on the roof. But I think they need to reconsider the dumpster company they use because Lightning dumpster did a horrible job. UPDATE: We received compensation for the driveway dumpster damage. Thanks Matt

Very happy with the overall service. Matt was very professional to deal with and did not try to upsell for things we did not need. The job took exactly the amount of time they said it was going to despite some early morning rain showers. Cleanup was excellent as well with essentially zero residual nails, shingles or staples. Roof looks great!

Matt was very professional is all his dealings with us. An issue arose during installation and Matt returned to the job-site within a couple of hours and resolved the situation. This is a top-notch contractor.

The. Crew placed tarps down all around the house, tore off all old roofing, cut new vents and put down new shingles. How ever it was discovered the vents were cut 10" too high for our roof line. Matt and his team were responsive and corrected the error the next day. The gutter crew did an excellent job.

Roofs Are Us did a great job on our new roof and seamless gutters. Adam was polite, easy to work with, and full of good information. The crew was fast and courteous. The only thing that could have been better was the clean up. There were a few nails, stapes and aluminum pieces left around. But overall, it was a good experience.

Good experience, I met with a few different roofing companies. Matt came and met me on a Saturday morning, gave me some really solid recommendations for the roof (including added ventilation and taking down a problem chimney). He seemed trustworthy and the price was very competitive. The work was done as scheduled and the cleanup was excellent. Would recommend and use them again.

We had a fantastic experience with Roofs R Us. They completed a full roof replacement, including tear-off, replacement of damaged decking boards, vents, and flashing. Afterwards they thoroughly cleaned the work area and re-installed pre-existing heating cables. The whole operation was completed in a single day and they took care not to disturb any of the garden beds that surround our house. The company provided a thorough quote and were very responsive in answering all of our questions. Pricing was comparable to other bids we received, but Roofs R Us offered superior customer service as they were more responsive and straight-forward in their explanations of the work to be performed. The company was very punctual for both the quoting appointment and the roof replacement. Highly recommend giving this company a call, we are very pleased with the both the results and the process.

The entire roof replacement project experience with Roofs-R-Us was easy and professional. I contacted Roofs-R- Us based on their positive Angie's List ratings and an appointment was scheduled within a few days. When Matt showed up, he was right on time and prepared. After Matt spent some time on the roof, we sat down to discuss the project, options, and to answer any questions I had. What set Roofs-R-Us apart was the care and thoroughness of the estimate and that it was provided on the spot. He provided 3 different options/products/price points. While Matt worked on the estimate, I watched a couple videos on the Owens Corning products and installation details. He answered all of my questions, and also looked at a pre-existing downspout problem I had and offered to fix it when they did the roof. Finally, Matt showed us samples of the different colors available that matched our siding and brick. We chose the Summer Harvest Owens Corning shingle. After receiving the other bids, I awarded the project to Roofs-R-Us and scheduled the installation about 2 weeks after my first contact with Matt. On the day of installation, the dumpster arrived at 7:30 AM, and materials and crew shortly after. The 10 person crew were professional, polite, and extremely hard working. The ground around the perimeter of the house, deck and porch was coverd with tarps. They had the old roof removed and ice/water guard laid by 11 am. Unfortunately, the wrong underlayment was delivered by the building supplies company, at no fault of Roofs-R-Us. Once I pointed out the problem, Matt had the right product delivered, although it was a few hours since it came from 40 miles away. The crew picked up where they left off and worked late into the day until the project was complete. They cleaned up everything and left our property looking like they were never there, except for the beautiful new roof. The next morning (Saturday), the project manager Moises showed up to make sure we were satisfied and finished off the downspout work. The quality of the shingles and installation are second to none, and I would enthusiastically recommend Roofs-R-Us to friends, family, and fellow Angies List subscribers.

We couldn't be more pleased with Roofs R US. Matt, the owner, came out for a roof consult the same day of the call. His professionalism and thoroughness with the roof inspection and options for replacement by far outmatched other contractors that we had give us a quote. The work was done exactly to plan and as how Matt described it to be. The roofers completed the roof in one day, including clean up. No debris was left in the yard and the landscaping remained fully intact. The roof looks awesome! We would definitely recommend Roofs R US!

Consultation and estimate: Matt from Roofs R Us was the first of 3 appointments I had for a roofing estimate. Had I known how much better his presentation and quote would be than the others, I would have stopped right there. He was the only one of 3 estimators/consultants that answered every one of my questions without me asking any of them. He has a very thorough and concise presentation and he offered me a quote that would end up beating anything else by 15% or better. He was able to offer me an install date less than 2 weeks from the date of the consultation. Install: The day of the install had a forecast showing an 80% chance of rain. I was skeptical that the install would happen, but at about 7:30 I heard the dumpster and supplies being dropped off in the backyard. There hadn't been any rain yet, so I figured we'll see what happens. The crew showed up shortly before 8am and started work right away. I would guess they had the house torn off in about an hour. They had just finished with the underlayment when I heard the rumbles of thunder getting closer. In no time at all, they had the exposed part of the roof completely tarped off about 10 minutes before the torrential downpour started. It rained really hard off and on (mostly on) for the better part of 2 hours. I was slightly worried that things could take a turn for the worse, but everything seemed to be in good hands. During a break in the rain, I heard the crew get back on the roof and get to work. I don't know which weatherperson they have working for them (or if they just got lucky), but that would end up being the end of the rain. They completed the house in no time and got to work on the garage. They had the entire house and garage (both are hip roofs) completed in approximately 6 hours of total work time. Amazing. The Aftermath: They ended up being short a few ridge shingles and a couple vents (but assured me the roof was watertight), and were back the next business day to complete the job. They certainly do quality work. The only negatives about the entire experience were: 1.) I was told the supplies would all be dropped off the morning of the job, but most of them were delivered the night before and dropped off in (what I feel was) a somewhat haphazard manner. My wife came home from an appointment and noticed a roll of underlayment rolling down the alley. My neighborhood is subject to the occasional petty theft and I thought it odd that they would drop $3K+ worth of roofing supplies right next to the alley. I felt the need to move them into my backyard within the confines of a fence (and to prevent any further rollaways). 2.) I expect there to be some minor debris around the job site even after cleanup, but I feel there were more nails left scattered around than there should have been. They insisted the dumpster be placed in my driveway and that's where the majority of the nails were left behind. I spent a good hour making sure the site was completely clean so I could safely return my vehicles to the garage without worrying about puncturing tires. In all, they do a bang up job. They are really efficient, do quality work and offer a very competitive price. I like that roofs are all they do and would highly recommend them for any roofing job.
