Just a note to say thanks to the entire staff at Glass and Mirror Inc, from the front desk to the installers. We received the quote from Ed Jr who explained everything and did the measurements of the windows and window grid inserts, which had to be exact as we live in a townhome and the HOA is very particular about everything matching up. Bill Voss set up the schedule and gave us an estimated time of window completion and installation date. Well, he actually got the windows done and installed faster than promised which these days is almost unheard of. The two installers who came did an excellent job, explained everything step by step what they were doing. It was very obvious they had done this many times before. They were very pleasant and cleaned up everything upon completion.

It was a real pleasure working with Jason and the G&M team! This was our first remodeling experience, so we had many questions. Jason was very professional and patient with us, as we made a few changes that required two re-quotes. The measuring process and installation were both flawless.

Description of Work: They installed a new glass shower enclosure in a recently remodeled bathroom. They first came out and measured the enclosure space to determine the size of the shower walls and door. They worked with me to determine my best option regarding mounting hardware, size of door, etc. | |There was one small hang up that caused a bit of a delay in the installation process, but ultimately was not a big deal. Shortly after measurement I was sent a mock-up of the proposed enclosure. It didn't look quite right to me based on our discussion, so I let them know and was informed that they would fix it and send me a new drawing. I never did get the drawing, and when they came to install the enclosure they had a door much larger than what was planned. They called the warehouse to determine if they had the other door in stock and had just picked up the wrong one, and they did. Unfortunately, they weren't able to come back to finish installation for another week, but I was not charged anything for the second door so wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. | |Overall, I was very happy with my experience working with Glass & Mirror, Inc. I believe they have a quality product and were very easy to work with throughout the process.

They sent out someone to do the measuring and he was helpful at getting us something that would suit us and would work in the space that we had. Then they brought out the finished shower and installed it. Everybody was on time and the price was what we expected.

I then decided to go with Glass and Mirror Inc, Barry then visited my home to take the measurements for the glass door. It was supposed to be around two weeks before installation but the glass was damaged in shipment so it took a little longer to get a good piece of glass in.
Description of Work: Purchase and installation of frame-less glass shower door. I purchased a 3/8 inch frame-less glass shower door for a 1950's era home that originally had a bathtub that I converted into a shower.

He had a question about a measurement and came back to double check to make sure the measurements were exact. The doors were installed two weeks later.

+ -1 moreBarry came out a few weeks ahead of time to measure for an estimate. At first he told us it might cost $300 - $400 to trim crown and pencil molding in the tile border, and that some edges may have to be non-square to fit tightly against the shower bench. The next day he emailed us and said that the borer cutting would only cost $50! Barry came back couple of weeks later to do the final, accurate measurement, and the glass was ready in the required time frame and that one off-square cut was not needed. The installers came out and did a wonderful job! The border cutting was great, the silicone caulking was awesome, and they did a complete cleanup. We love our new shower walls and door! They look and work great!

+ -1 moreBarry came out and measured and provided us with an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and guided us in adjusting our design to work with our space and the materials we had chosen. We paid half down. We received a phone call when our glass was done being manufactured and scheduled a delivery and installation date shortly after that, which was only 15 days after we'd ordered it. The two installers were prompt, clean and courteous. The installation was super. The clear caulk was very neatly applied. The enclosure works exactly as it should, no leaking anywhere. We love it! It's beautiful!

Description of Work: They replaced 10 smaller panes and 1 extra large sliding glass door pane. They took off plexiglass storms and all the caulk from before. They even rescreened one of the sliders too.
