1. It took Dan a long, long time to make arrangements to come to my house for the work. Then when he said he would be there (the first week of July) and I contacted him the Friday before, he said maybe could make it the second week. I told him I needed some notice since I would need to take time off work. So he sent me a text message on a Sunday asking if he could come on Monday. We finally arranged for Thursday 2. He did not tell me that the $200 I paid up front would only cover 4 hours for two people. So once he was there and had opened his supplies and all the switchplates were removed, and furniture moved, he told me. A little late. Then he said the cost would be $57/hr each for him and his partner. I asked how long it would take to do the room. He said he had no idea. 3. At about 3.5 hours, they had painted only the edges of the rooms. I questioned why they were not further along and Dan said it was because there were so many cutouts and that he was the best cutter in the business. He also said that because I was using two colors, he had to keep going to my laundry room to wash brushes. it didn't occur to him to have more brushes, I guess 4. He still couldn't estimate how much longer it would take. I thought about it and said and quot;No, I will not do extra time. It just isn't worth it and I can't understand why you aren't further alongand quot; He and his partner then tried to talk me into it, and knowing that it would take hiring another painter to finish the work, and since the room was unusable the way it was, I authorized two more hours. 5. When that time was up, they stopped painting and spent time on clean up and moving furniture back in. Then Dan asks and quot;well, how do you feel about paying for the extra time beyond the two hours.and quot; I did so. Then he said that since I made out the check already he woudn't charge me $15 for the brushes and rollers. 6. During the painting I had to point out that where the wall meets the ceiling the lines weren't straight. Then they went back to fix. The final work is good. and they put most of the room back together. There are better vendors, by far, on Angie's list. I dont' know why Dan handled the logistics and the work this way. No reasonable person would use his services again.

I purchased a $149 Big Deal to have Dan repair cracks and gaps in my flagstone retaining walls. I sent him pictures and he came out at the date and time we agreed on. I had many areas of wall needing attention and gave Dan a list of my order of priorities because I knew he could never finish it all. I am satisfied with the work that was done but was disappointed of the three things on my list the first two were ignored. Before Dan started I expressed that I had no idea how much would get done within the time I paid for and when he reached the end of his time to let me know and we could discuss me paying for additional work. Apparently we had a misunderstanding because when he finished, because it started pouring rain, I owed him an additional $60 cash.

Dan is a careful, detail-oriented contractor. He performs nice worksmanship. Previous chimney guys, plumber and roofer couldn't figure out what was causing the leak. We decided to hire Dan to open up the chimney where we found rotten panels and work his way down to the siding oustide our kitchen. This is the area closest to the leak. He was careful and made sound judgment to advise us once he determined chimney couldn't have been the cause. Instead, he suspected a leaking pipe hidden inside the wall. That is exactly what we found! It was a joyous moment. He replaced the leaked water tube and damaged insulation and beams, siding, patched up shingles on the roof, re-painted all. It took him about 30 hours in total to finish ($75/hr) plus materials. We worked well together solving issues that were raised. I'm very glad I found Dan. It's way over our budget but at least the problem was solved!! He also fixed a wobbly staircase on the deck which was not an easy job and did drywalls in a bathroom and laundry room. I had a smaller job so he worked me in around other jobs. That was fine since I was not in a hurry. You may need to clarify if travel charges are part of your Angies list coupon or an added expense. He was good at noticing things I did not notice on my trim.

I purchased the Big Deal Painter for a Day - $199. Dan worked 7/12 hours so we paid an extra half hour plus supplies (~$40, and we purchased our own paint). I know Dan was busy after offering such a great deal but I asked if he could squeeze us in before the due date of our third child, and he did come out on a Saturday. We have a new construction home and the the flat paint in the bathrooms was not very kid-friendly, so we hired him to paint the three bathrooms, same color, just a different type of more durable, washable paint. I was a little nervous about hiring a painter because the trim in the new house is perfect, but Dan did a great job taping and he didn't spill a drop of paint. Overall, the three bathrooms look fantastic, he was very careful of our property, and did a nice detailed job around all the edges. Splash away kids.

Dan Netko Exteriors sent a bricklayer to estimate. The bricklayer managed expectations by saying it might be a month before they could do, but was able to slot us in much earlier. Dan Netko is a good communicator and let us know of progress and estimates along the way. Dan also offered to make additional repairs to the house, after observing several issues on the sight. When the bricklayers removed the current layer of bricks, they discovered a rotted beam; Dan brought in a carpenter to quickly repair before the new bricks were installed. This delayed the brickwork by a day. The bricklayers showed us samples of the bricks before starting work, so we could sign off on the colors (which had to come close to matching old brick on the rest of the house). We are pleased with the look of the work. They even tinted the mortar so it would more closely match the rest of the 1922 house.

Dan was very quick and professional and did a great job. It was a job that was covered by our insurance and Dan was very helpful in working with the insurance company.

I emailed Dan about our project and Dan contacted us to get the job scheduled right away. Over the phone he asked questions about the project (size of rooms, any special requirements, etc) Dan also recommended what kind of paint to purchase for the work. Because we had an interior project, we agreed to plan it for a rainy day if possible and it was scheduled within the week. Dan said that 2 guys would come (2 men for 3.5 hours or 1 man for 7 hours) due to the ceilings and walls I wanted painted. On the day of the work, Corey came alone. The other painter had a family emergency. Since I had taken the day off work to stay home, Corey decided to get it done and after looking at the space, he jumped right in. Luckily the bedroom was cleared and ready to go, so I could clear the counters in the kitchen. Corey was able to spray both ceilings and did a great job protecting our carpet and walls in the bedroom, and everything in the kitchen. He took care to cover all the floors, even going up and down the stairs. He put plastic up to seal the rooms while he was doing the ceiling, and cleaned everything up before he left. He got the job done in less than 7 hours and it looks great! One unexpected benefit of this job, Corey pointed out that our light fixture in the bedroom had been on fire at some point in the past, and repair work had been done. We purchased this house 10 years ago and never noticed. Now we are taking care to evaluate the electricity and light fixture before we change it out.

He provided references and let us go look at work that was done where as other companies were hesitant. His prices were in the middle. The price totaled pretty close to the estimate. They were very friendly and helpful when I was speaking the lady in the office while gathering information. One of the things that is important to me is when I ask if he treats his employee wells she said that they have several employees that have been there for several years. Dan himself comes out to ensure the job goes as planned and inspects the work after. There was a storm a few weeks after the roof was installed and he came out to ensure the roof withheld and was in good standings. The work was completed quickly and efficiently being completed in one day. The whole area was cleaned up nicely as well leaving no nails or materials behind.

They did a great job. He helped me with the color and recommended a type of roof that was a better value for what I was paying. Having him take care of the chimney was extremely helpful, especially since they coordinated it for redoing the roofing.

The workers arrived on time, were careful about damage, cleaned up debris promptly, were careful about our pets, were polite, and worked long days to overcome weather delays. They explained what they were doing during each stage of the work. Mr. Netko himself closely monitored the work and assisted on some challenging retrofit issues with flashing. The job looks great.

Using Angie's List, I reached out to several painters for availability and pricing. Having a small window to accomplish the painting with our unseasonable weather, timing was off the essence. Dan was very responsive to my requests for information and quote, and was able to fit me in quickly. Dan does fantastic work-very thorough and quality driven. It's no surprise that he receives the reviews he does as he is very personable and honest, but the work speaks for itself. Though the job I had for him was small, I have no doubt he carries the same level of integrity regardless of job size. He also provides great, time saving advise for the do it yourselfers. Would have shaved hours off of some painting I was doing on my own had I heeded it earlier.

Dan Netco responded very quickly and professionally to our request for an estimate for a new roof, insulation and skylight replacement. Dan assessed and submitted an estimate that was very reasonable in comparison to the other bids. He also brought in an insulation expert to evaluate and make recommendations. Dan's organization skills and many years of experience were invaluable. His crew was punctual and hardworking and completed the the job within 2 1/2 days. Dan oversaw the entire operation, from the delivery of materials to the tear-off to the installation of the skylights to the completion of the project. The clean-up was thorough. Dan Netco did an excellent job. We highly recommend him!

Dan Netko Exteriors Inc did a wonderful job. What I liked about them is that we left the job for a little late in the year and they were able to work it out and squeeze us into their schedule. We had another estimate and they were cheaper and we were pleased with the work that they did.

It was a great experience. The company worked closely with my insurance company helping them understand what needed replaced due to storm damage. They worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves daily. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I used them because of a previous experience with the company and they exceeded my expectations once again. They came to the estimate with amazing references, several were neighbors. I checked the references and they were great. They worked with my insurance company to make sure that everything got covered included things that were not in the original quote from the insurance company. They cleaned up everyday when they were done. By the end of the project I had not found a single nail or shingle anywhere. They are friendly, helpful, neat and clean. Great Service!

They originally came out because the siding job they had done for me the previous fall caused some nail pops in the house due to the original home construction being poorly done. They sent a painter out to repair the damage and again they worked with the insurance company to make it so that it was covered under my previous storm damage. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. All the paint matched and they painted full walls when necessary to make sure everything matched. The finished result looks great.

The crew was polite, answered any questions I had-they were punctual, cleaned up each night before they left. They really tended to business.

The men who installed the windows were on time and really took the time to do a great job. Very gentlemen like.
