Family owned & operated. Dan Netko Exteriors is a licensed and GAF certified contractor that has been in operation since 1979. Our commitment today is the same as it was in the beginning - to provide the best possible workmanship with the highest quality materials. Our goal at the end of each job is to have our customer glad they hired us and eager to recommend us to their friends. We give a 15 year warranty on our workmanship. Description of Work: Dan painted trim on exterior. He brought another person along and charged double what he quoted us. They were here forever, did trim we did. Not discuss and then added it to the bill. My husband was at work that day and I felt Dan took full advantage of that situation! We would never recommend him. I can't believe he's on Angie's list!! He's a crook!

The first time I painted for this member, I did the painting myself and we agreed to do it by the hour for the labor plus materials. I thoroughly scraped, caulked, and double coated some high windows and high fascia.that was way overdue for scraping and paint. It took a lot of very physical work to scrape all the old cracked and peeling paint off. The member was very happy with the work and apparently with how much time it took. He asked me to come back and do more of the same high work on other parts of the house. This time I brought a helper and we worked continuously. His wife was home but she left for a little while. While she was gone I was working up high on a 2 story window and could see that the fascia up there above the window really needed scaring and painting, so as long as I was already up on the ladder I did that area too. I didn't have her there to get permission to do that fascia near the peak, but I thought they would want it done. In the end after his wife indicated that she was not happy with how much time it took and how much money it was costing, I subtracted the time it took me to do that extra high work and I think I even reduced the hourly charge overall, but she was convinced I was being dishonest. (It was a year ago) I don't remember the other exact details. We did very thorough scraping and prep and put 2 heavy coats of Sherwin Williams Duration. Over the next 10 to 13 years, they will realize how good of work we did because this paint job will last a long time. Dan painted trim on exterior. I can understand the D for responsiveness because it was a very busy time and it took awhile to get her a quote and then a few delays beyond what I expected to start on the job. I don't understand the C for overall though. We tuckpointed some big cracks that had opened up in her brick walls, sidewalk and step repair, and broke out and replaced sections of a concrete patio in back. I looked at the job during progress and after it was finished and my mason did an excellent job on all of it. I took pictures of it all as good examples of what we could do with various concrete and brick repairs.

Description of Work: Bedroom and bath. We needed two guys to move four heavy dressers so Tom the painter brought his adult son to help. Tom did a great job and they were great moving the furniture away from walls and back again. His son missed some areas in the bathroom but Tom came back a couple days later and finished it up nicely.

Description of Work: Dan and his crew did a complete new roof for us, and we would defintely highly recommend him to anyone considering a new roof or roof repair! He was very professional from start to finish. Dan has many years of experience in roofing and siding. The estimate was very reasonably priced. Dan took photos of the existing roof to provide us with a detailed documentation of problem areas. He also explained how he would correct the problems. He explained the different types of roofing and we went to the distributor to look at the different selections. We opted for a heavy-duty one. The work was done on schedule, and the crew was very professional and considerate, and kept the job site clean thoughout the time they were here. We appreciated that there was absolutely no construction debris when they were finished. Our new roof is beautiful, and we look forward to having Dan do our siding and new stone and masonry front steps in the near future. Excellent job.
