I contacted Dan right away after the tree fell on the house. He came right out, accessed the damage and gave me an estimate. Immediately thereafter, Dan himself had an accident and was laid up. So a number of weeks passed before someone actually did the work, but the situation was understandable. Other than that, I don't have a bad thing to report. It's all good and I highly recommend them.

We had received several estimates for the work (roof and gutter replacement) to be performed and Dan was the most thorough and came with good recommendations. No issues with the roof or gutters since Dan Netko Exteriors performed the work.

His work was above and beyond. We had an old style chimney, which he was able to replace perfectly.

From the beginning Dan was personable and knowledgeable. He did not try to and quot;up-selland quot; me on any of the materials purchased, but rather worked with me to chose good quality exterior products that fit in my budget. The end result looks fantastic. An old 1940's house with pealing paint and ravaged windows is transformed! With any large project there are wrinkles that occur. For example, some of the siding that was installed was too tightly fitted so that the sun made it buckle a bit as it warmed up. I called Dan and he had his siding subcontractors come out and fix the problems right away. Dan is a general contractor and appears to have a good working relationship with his subcontractors. He is old school in the best sense of the word. He's easy to reach and seems to take real pride in the work he and his people do. No flashy marketing and expensive office space here, which is why I think his bids are so reasonable. I would definitely consider Dan Netko Exteriors for additional home projects.

I originally contacted Dan to provide a roofing estimate for my home. As one of 3 estimates that we received, Dan's estimate was competitive with the others (perhaps even cheaper). However, Dan clearly has a advanced knowledge of roofing. He made several recommendations than his competitors didn't. Dan was able to schedule our roofing project as part of a larger home improvement project. His crew completed the job to our satisfaction and on schedule. Not only that, his roofing crew kept the worksite extremely throughout the entire project. I was so impressed with Dan, that I asked him to provide estimates for gutters and exterior painting as well. Again, his estimates came back at market rate and we were extremely pleased with the results. If we need similar work completed in the future, I am confident that we will contact Dan. I strongly recommend Dan to others considering similar work.

Dan really has provided us with excellent service. His bid was not the cheapest, but sometimes you get what you pay for and he really did provide us with great value with the quality of work that he performed. He was always very punctual in showing up for work and kept an extremely clean work site. He is not afraid to admit he doesn't know something, but he always knows someone that does know so that he can get the correct information.

Dan is willing to go the distance. He went a long way for an estimate. We felt comfortable with his pricing. He had done work for us previously, and we knew that he was going to do a great job. Since we have two homes, it was easier to speak with someone who knew what we wanted. Always willing to answer questions during and in between projects and gives good advice when needed.

The job was done in a timely and professional manner. I was very impressed with Dan's professionalism and honesty. I had 3 estimates, and he was the only one who didn't volunteer to inflate the hail damage estimate for insurance purposes!

The wind was tearing shingles off our previous roof, which was only 12 years old; this resulted in a leak into the attic. We called Dan and one other well-rated company. Dan and a guy from the other company each came and looked at our house, which is a difficult one to roof because of its height (3 storeys, gutters are 40 feet from the ground) and the fact that it's steeply pitched. We got two estimates and Dan's was the lower of the two, so we went with him. It was fall and too late in the season to do the whole roof, so Dan patched the roof where the shingles had come off and we agreed that he'd come back in the spring. By the way, both the insurance adjuster and Dan told us that the company that had put on the previous roof12 years ago had done a bad job; the shingles were all improperly nailed, hence the wind damage. In April, Dan's crew came back and completed the job in three or four days. They were courteous and professional, cleaned everything up at the end of each day, cleared away all debris, etc., very well. Our neighbors were impressed with the speed and quietness and minimal disruption of the whole project. The building inspector told us it was a first-rate job! (This roof should last about 30 years. Wish we'd known about Dan Netko Exteriors 12 years ago!) Dan himself monitored everything closely, and communicated his standards and wishes clearly to his crew. He inspected their work and approved it. He really knows his job and makes sure things are done right. He's thoroughly professional and a really nice guy, to boot. We highly recommend him and would hire him again any day!

They were very satisfactory, did good work, and I liked everything. They answered my questions and did honest work. They did what they said they were going to do, cleaned up after themselves, and as far as I can tell they did the job right.

From the start, he and his crew described exactly what steps they would be taking along the way, and how long they expected the work to take. They gave me choices and let me know whenever they ran into unforeseen problems. They were respectful of our tenants and very easy to work with. I would definitely call him back for future work.

He re-shingled my roof after a big storm came through and I thought he did the job pretty quickly, and 12 years have passed, and I have not had a problem with my roof yet.

Prompt, professional estimate. Poor coordination with crew and communication with customer caused several delays.

I got bids with 4 Angie's list roofers and he was the lowest. He did a good job as far as the roofing work is concerned, but the workers kept leaving the gate open even after being asked repeatedly to keep it closed. We had a dog that would run if he got out. The roof work was excellent but after a long lunch the workers were passing around a bottle in a paper bag in the car before they started work again. I assume it was alcohol and I wasn't too keen on having someone on the roof that had been drinking. I am assuming it was alcohol but I had no proof of it. I would probably use them if I have to go through the same process again but would insist on Dan being around to supervise. It so happened he was out of town when the roof was done.

They put new siding and new windows. He was very personable and answered all questions. The price was reasonable. He subcontracted lot of work so we couldn't contact him directly. The work was done very well. The workers who came out were good. They did good work. They knew what they were doing. There were no complications.

Did not use Dan Netko for roofing, but he was good to work with in getting the bid.

Dan Netko was recommended by my father-in-law. I gave him a call and was able to get an estimate right away. Unfortunately, winter was setting in, so we had to wait until spring before work could begin. Dan called personally during that time to check in periodically. Once the snow and ice melted, work began, and the crew was done in less than two days. They even found and repaired a leak we didn't know we had. We are very pleased with the results and will be calling Dan for an estimate on new siding.
