We had never replaced a roof. Since we were paying for the job out of our own pocket, we carefully interviewed multiple roofers. We liked the fact that Dan seemed like a straight shooter and lived not too far away. We were happy with the job, including the clean-up and used his services again in 2009.

It went well, and he did a good job. I am pleased with the work. He got in done in a reasonable time, and he charged a fair price.

After a major hailstorm, our community was swarmed by claims estimators due to the magnitude of the storm. Although we couldn't see any damage, we called Dan, who had roofed our house in New Hope about 15 years prior. He responded quickly and handled all of the claim work with State Farm. We were especially pleased that he was able to steer us to a better grade of shingles. It looked great after they cleaned up - no problems.

It was a really great experience. I'm the only one living here, and I felt like I could trust them with the job. They just did a great job. They showed up on time in hot weather and worked right through it, and the roof turned out gorgeous.

I contacted Dan about replacing all 11 windows in my home. He came to my home with window samples, brochure information and approximate pricing. I chose his company and he submitted a bid. We set a date to start the work. His crew was prompt in coming. They protected my landscaping and did an excellent job. They were prompt, careful, polite, friendly, efficient and, when the job was finished, cleaned up. I ordered vinyl exterior frames and wood interior frames. Dan had the company that was doing the wood come over with stain samples so the finish would match the rest of the woodwork. After the work was finished, I noticed 1 window with a defect. Dan notified the manufacturer and it was promptly replaced. Excellent customer service. I would recommend them without reservation.

They came and fixed my chimney from the old bricks that were flaking off of the chimney. They were timely, competitively priced, and the quality of the work was great. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We found Dan on Angie's List. He gave us a reasonable estimate and seemed to be personable and attentive. Dan worked with me to get just the right color of trim and gutter so they would match. Dan contacted me quickly when he found out the color trim I wanted would have cost more because of an order minimum, and then he worked with me to come up with a creative way to bring that cost down. The job was done in a timely manner, and the crew cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased with the customer service and results. Our garage looks great!

We are very, very pleased with our new roof. Dan Netko Exteriors was one of 3 bids for our work in 2012. We'd had his prior company (Netko Brothers) do the roof 18 years ago (1994) with excellent trouble-free results, so were glad to get in touch again. Dan's was the best and most thorough of the bids, addressing our concerns about attic venting by recommending more of the same style roof vents (at a great cost-savings over changing to ridge-venting), together with replacement of soffet vents. He verified with the manufacturer that this approach met their requirements for the 50-year warranty feature, which we wanted. At our request he also provided a separate quote for the addition of 2 appliance vents, which we chose to do. He also alerted us to a modest-cost roof edging product that will prevent shingle damage from painting ladders. The bid including coordination/arranging all services, including getting the construction permit, delivery and removal of the dumpster, delivery of the shingles, and final city inspection. Warranty from manufacturer was also handled. The 3-man crew was friendly, professional, and hard-working. We liked their usual mid-morning to early-evening hours that kept the early-morning peace and quietn our neighborhood. The crew Lead provided his phone number, and kept in touch during the work which extended across a weekend due to weather delays. Work was stalled by rainstorms during the project, but the crew always made sure the house was weather-tight before leaving for the day, working extra-late one nice evening until moonrise. They cleaned up construction debris daily. The crew took extra time and effort to ensure that the flashings and collar around the brick chimney looked great, as well as functioning properly. During the work, we found out most of the 40-year-old plywood under the shingles on the house was brittle and needed to be replaced this time, not just the 1 - 2 sheets that had been obvious from initial evaluation. This added a full day of labor, plus the costs of the plywood. Dan worked with us on the charges and we were very satisfied with his responsiveness. I highly recommend Dan Netko Exteriors.
