Tom Wilmes was very easy to work with, kept me informed as to what needed to be done, what he was working on, how inspections went and was very responsive to any questions I had. The existing floor was covered to protect the finish, doorways were covered in plastic to keep dust out of the rest of the house, and where some dust filtered through, he vacuumed it up. He was neat with his work, cleaning as he went. New light fixtures were installed exactly where I wanted them. The ceiling was installed with cedar and looks beautiful. All defects in the sheet rock were filled in before painting. The subcontractors he used were very professional and courteous. I'm very happy with the finished job. When building the new deck, he suggested several options in order to work around the sprinkler heads. All old materials were removed from the property when as he went along so I did not have piles of trash in the yard for long periods of time. I am extremely pleased with the finished room and deck!

They were very nice. It was a very pleasant experience speaking with them even though we couldn't afford to have it done at the moment. We were thinking about adding a bathroom on the main level. We had like 3 different quotes on the job and I don't recall what they said because we couldn't afford to do it and it wasn't important after that. I suppose it was reasonable except that I didn't realize that it was going to be that much. They were professional, prompt and very pleasant. They were very prompt and right on time.

It went exceptionally well. Tom was so professional and an excellent contractor. During our remodel we had a kitchen leak. It distroyed the kitchen flooring. We had a deadline and he was willing and able to not only finish the remodel but also take on the kitchen desastor. All were finished before our deadline. He suggested things we had not thought of which worked out well. He was neat and cleaned up before he left everyday which was very important for me! We got along so well, I think of him as a friend. I highly recommend him and his work .

Tom Wilmes was very pleasant to work with, very helpful with suggestions and recommendations, and produced a beautiful bathroom that I love using every day. The work started and was done ahead of schedule. He worked with me to find the right pieces for the size of my bathroom, and came through with a great tile replacement when my original decorative tile proved to be defective. I ended up really liking the replacement that he had in his truck - he and his wife were going to use the same kind in their house. He went to two home improvement stores to find it once I agreed that it would work. It actually may have even been a better choice than my original option. I enjoyed chatting with Tom and appreciated his strong work ethic - he is a very hard worker who wants to make sure he meets his clients' wants and needs. He cleaned up at the end of every day, vacuuming and make sure I could use my house when he wasn't there. I think he also now has a greater appreciation for the unique issuing facing people who are very short! The work was thorough, he addressed the unexpected problems that came up and worked with me on the budget to keep things within the estimate. I would definitely hire Wilmes Construction for future projects.

His service was real good. He was real helpful in helping us figure out what we had left to do. The project had already started and he joined in mid project. He finished everything up. He did everything that we had asked. He was always real clean, patient, and open with suggestions.

He came out and gave me an honest opinion of what needed to be done and identified possible issues where other companies did not. All the work was done within 3 days which was amazing. His contracted help did good work and asked questions when needed. When issues were identified we worked through them easily. He also fixed a few things that the builder did wrong or adjusted to make it work. He also helped us on questions we had on doing some of the work ourselves, or should I say educated us. Once that project was finished we had him back in September 2012 to do the bathroom tile floor and shower. He helped us with the design and again educated us on what we needed to do for the drywall/cement board. Tom was easy to work with and was always helpful.

Overall experience Tom was great. We had talked to about 10 other contractors and received bids for the job but went with Tom because his price was competitive and felt the most comfortable with him that he would do good quality work and be responsive to any issues that may arise during the project. From Start to Finish the project went pretty good. Tom was always on time every morning and would let us know each night of the progress and go over any issues that have come up. He gave us a date that the project would be completed by and he finished over a week ahead of time, There were a couple hiccups along the way but Tom went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with the results. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the work done in our basement and would hire Tom again should we have any more remodeling needs.

The entire project went very well. Tom Wilmes provided framing ideas, pricing options and assistance along the way on the "do-it-yourself" portions I was trying to do on my own. His flexibility and openess to changing direction based on my instruction was very helpful. He made his work schedule fit mine as much as possible. The end result was great and I without question will call Tom first when I need any future work. I've already given his phone number to friends looking for similar work in their homes.

Tom was very good and very professional. He was courteous and pretty easy to work with. I would use him again in the future.

I spent $1800 for the job. My experience with them was great. It was good. The guy who did the work was a nice guy. He worked till late at night and he worked on the weekends to get it done.
