This company is all about the money. They care nothing about their customers. I had a shower installed. The installer Hasan was AWESOME! He is the ONLY reason I gave this company any stars. The people at the office are not helpful what so ever. After the installation was completed, the shower would not drain. I called and was told I had to call the plumber. It was not his (Brandon) job. After a few phone calls to the company and a WHOLE lot of run around from Brandon I finally gave up, called and PAID someone else to fix the problem. It has now been almost a month and I have NEVER HEARD BACK FROM BRANDON OR ANYONE ELSE FROM GREAT LAKES. Horrible customer service. Never again will I hire this company.

Great company. They showed up on time and finished on time. Mike and his crew did a great job and cleaned up the area as well as had great suggestions. They worked hard and rarely took breaks. Nice men to have around!

Work was done fairly well. A little disappointed by lack of communication by business as to what's going on. Took way too long for job to get done. But all is well.

Did a total bathroom remodel - took out tub and replaced with walk-in shower. Excellent job from ceiling to floor. Also added a new water softener and rust remover machine. Very dependable and very clean. Listened to my needs and added good advise. Will use him again.

The most important investment, is your house. Hire the right professionals

TL;DR version: We're satisfied and will hire them again. The whole process took a very long time. We signed the papers in May and weren't scheduled for demolition until September. One issue we encountered was the shower door I picked out wouldn't work on their sloped shower base. I must have been the first person to ever come across this problem because no one mentioned to watch out for that when I picked out the shower door. (They have you check with them before buying replacement parts so they can tell you whether it will work or not.) Of course the process takes long because of ordering materials and custom building others, I get that. But from the time I bought my shower doors to the time of install, we're talking over 90 days... well beyond any reasonable return policy at the big box home improvement stores. So I had to really grind to get the store to take back their door. I was able to return the shower door - to the tune of store credit and a sizeable re-stocking fee. Sometimes there's just times you just have to accept your fate. Other than that hiccup, everything else went smooth. The workers were always informing me every step of the way with what they're doing and what's coming next. From boots on the ground to clean up was four days, so you can't complain about that! The price was quite steep, as all remodeling projects are. With materials we purchased along with the labor, we're talking about $11,000 for a 4x9' bathroom.

We signed a contract with GLHR for a bathroom remodel, they came and measured everything and said the project would start in about 6-8 weeks. Nine weeks later we received a call saying they decided to drop our project because they undercharged us. So upset with this worthless company. Save yourself time and money and go with decent company who will actually fulfill their word.

Overall experience for our whole bathroom remodel was amazing. The professionalism all along was great and we loved the fact that the installer was so careful and cleaned up after himself at the end of every day. There was communication every day on where everything stood and what the goals were for that day.

The quality of workmanship was outstanding. They did what they said when they said it and were just outstanding. I give them my highest recommendation for bathroom remodeling!
