Called to inquire about possible door panel replacement. Owner Matt was very straightforward, told me he didn't do panel replacements anymore but did give me the name of a company that does. I asked about replacing my existing with new. He gave me a ballpark figure (depending on door) and told me he deals with Clopay and North Central Door. Sent me a link to both so I could look at options. After doing some research I called Matt and made an appointment. He came, brought some samples and we finalized a selection. Took about three weeks before the door came and installation could be scheduled. Matt arrived on time and within 4 hours had the old door removed and the new door installed. Installation went perfectly and the door looks great and operates perfectly. One thing to note... Matt truly does care about a totally satisfied customer and so he pointed out to me the installed trim left a very small small sliver of the door edge exposed. This because the existing door opening was slightly wider than normal. I looked and agreed because I'm overly picky, that would bother me. He offered to come back with another piece of trim to cover that and ensure my satisfaction. Three days later he was back as promised and solved that problem. Again, the new door looks great. I'm very pleased with my new North Central Door insulated steel garage door and the quality installation Matt did. Matt arrives on time, does quality work, is very easy to work with, offers a great product at a fair price and does what he says he will. I highly recommend him and Apple Valley Garage Door.

Matt was available within days and showed up when he said he would. Finished ahead of schedule and then went over everything we needed to know. Friendly and helpful.

I called on a Friday afternoon and he came promptly on Monday morning as agreed. He replaced the broken garage door spring and also one of the rollers that was frozen. The garage door works great now.

Matt set an appointment and stuck to it - same day! He called ahead to let me know he was arriving in 20 minutes. Friendly. Worked quickly. Looked at the other garage and oiled it once he replaced our springs. Advised a future brace being added to the double door at the bottom panel. But was not pushy about it. Cleaned up and took the broken spring with him (didn't toss it in our trash). We plan to hire him again and will recommend him.

Wonderful. Pointed out last installer replaced with a smaller spring, was not big enough for door. Now works better than in years! Went above and beyond checking things out.

Fantastic!! Our garage door spring broke Friday when we got home from work and the door would not open at all, not even manually. We called Apple Valley Garage Door at 5:30pm and he arrived at 6:45pm to repair the springs.

They did good. He's a nice guy. It was one person. It took like one hour or so. It was good. He took care of what was the problem. He showed me how to take care of the same. It did not cross over, he just did it from his side.

Excellent work! We had a broken spring that prevented us from opening our garage door, and Matt arrived within within 3 hours of my initial call. He gave a quote over the phone ($200) to replace both springs, but honored an Angie's List coupon I presented when he arrived (for $175). I also asked him to replace the worn-out seal on the bottom of the garage door, since I purchased it a long time ago and haven't had a chance to replace it -- he did very thorough work, securing the metal track in several places and ensuring that the new seal closed snugly from edge-to-edge. He charged $200 for both the spring and the seal, which I was happy to pay for a job done well. Basically, the Angie's List coupon covered the cost for attaching the seal.

I was very impressed with Matt and his service. He arrived when he said he would, fixed the problem, and didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. (This is in contrast to an estimate we'd had with a bigger garage door company, who quoted us $400 for the same service Matt provided for $140 and also tried to convince us to buy another $1000 worth of upgrades.)

The gentlemen called me he was very courteous and acknowledged my time was important without me having to say anything. He did what worked best for my schedule, which was great, especially liked that I knew the time they were coming when I hung up not having to wait till day of is very important to me. When he (Matt) came he was very courteous and trustworthy, I got good vibes from him. He did the work, added an additional garage while he was here, I needed rollers replaced on the one that was added, he hadn’t realized he was out and asked when he could come back. I gave him a date and time and he was here at that time, finished the job, again being nice and courteous at all times. He even showed me how to lube my own garage so we don’t have to have someone out to do it, which to me is very trustworthy, he didn’t try to gouge us or add more things we didn’t need. Matt was very fair on his price for the new rollers and weather stripping on the added garage, I think I got a deal. He was awesome; we’d have him over for BBQ for sure if he was a new neighbor. I highly recommend him. The price listed was spent above the deal I purchased.
