MORK WELL CO INC

We woke up to a broken drain valve on our well tank. I called Mork at 7am, and they had someone here by 10am to fix the drain valve so we could have water again. They discovered we had a bad well tank, and had the parts to replace the whole thing. They were very efficient and explained everything they were doing and why. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs help with wells and well tanks! I will definitely use them in the future if needed!!! Thanks Mork Well for the great service!

Found that the wire further down in the well had been damaged, causing it to only work intermittently. Replaced wiring and got well working again. They were great in that they came to fix it over the weekend and I had no water.

I am an old man. :) I have dealt with hundreds, if not thousands, of vendors over the years in various professional and personal capacities. Mork Well is among the very best I have ever encountered They quickly diagnosed my well difficulty [most of the problem centered around a failed capacitor in the control unit that had given up the ghost], and restored the flow of water after replacing the capacitor, a valve, and getting air into the system. These people are competent, knowledgeable, responsive, personable and honest. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I don't think I will seek out problems with my well, but I now know where to turn.

Our water stopped running, and we had no idea what the source of the problem was but figured it must be something to do with the well. Mork prioritized our house since we had no running water, and two or three guys they spent an entire day in the cold weather trying to pull out our pump, which had "frozen up" due to corrosion (past homeowners may have put bleach in the well). If they hadn't been able to pull it out, we would probably have needed a new well - and the old well would have to be capped off, a pricey and laborious project all around. They gave it their all and did a super job - and finally got the pump out so they could replace it with a new one. They never gave up, and we were extremely happy.

They could easily have told me that it needs a new pump or a new tank something which would end up more than a $1000. Actually it was something about a pressure switch or something along that line. The bottom line is they could have told me that it was $1500 and I would not have known the difference and they fixed it for less than a $100. They were very prompt and courteous.

We had been noticing a foul smell coming from our tap water. After ruling out the water heater, (coming from the cold water side). Then ruling out the holding tank inside the house, (because it was fairly new and pump was not cycling on all the time). We knew it had to be the Well. So we called Mork Well Company. We used them when our Well Pump went out a couple of years ago. They sent Billy out to shock our well. I remembered him from the last time we had work done. Like the first time, he was on time, and got right to work. He explained to me what was happening with the well, shocked it with a chlorine solution, put a new well cap on, then we went inside to run all the water lines to make sure there was no remaining bacteria. After a few days the chlorine smell had disapated and our water is back to normal. Awesome job Billy, can't thank you enough. I would definately use Mork Well Company again. They are family owned, and care about their customers.

Our well pump was going off every 9 minutes and I couldn't figure out why. I had checked all the toilets and faucets for drips but couldn't find anything. So called to have them check it out. Very professional, very informative service call. He spent about 30-45 minutes total trying to diagnose the problem. Turned out it was a problem with our irrigation system; one of the faucets wasn't turned off all the way. He was kind enough to not make me feel too terribly stupid and dropped the price of the service call by $30. It was a costly lesson to learn though. In a way, I guess it turned out well because if we ever do have a problem with our well, I know I will call Mork to come back out to help.

Ron was very professional. The problem was the switch which had corroded and stopped working. I also decided to replace the control box which was the same age and showing signs of corrosion. The system had performed flawlessly for 18 years, so I think I got off lightly. I was afraid the pump itself had failed, which would have been a much bigger deal.

They responded really quickly and came out the same day. They were able to diagnose the problem and complete the repair. The man who came was fantastic! Their customer service was really good and I would hire them again.

I found them on Angie’s List. The work turned out great! There were two technicians who completed the work. They were very thorough, explained everything they were doing, and answered all of my questions.

They did a really good job. We thought there was something much more extreme wrong with well. There were two technicians that were able to come out quickly within a matter of hours. They told us that nothing was wrong with the pump and that the tank only needed to be recharged. This was the first time we have ever lived in a home with a well. They took the time to show us how to maintenance the well and also charge it ourselves in case this were to ever happen again. They only charged us a minimal service call. I highly recommend them to others.

They made a good faith estimate. They came and did the work well and there were no problems with the work. Two guys showed up for the work. Ron and Billy were both good guys. Ron did an excellent job at explaining all of the technical things that they were doing. He described how the Sandpoint was built, how it was extracted, and what problems, if any, could arise. Their written bid they provided totaled $1164. The bid in writing was larger than the bid over the phone. I was surprised at the cost as their competition would have cost less. To ease my angst, they dropped the $50 fee they would have charged for recycling. They were on time, on schedule, and they were neat. They explained the work that they were doing and arranged for the well inspection that had to be done by an inspector. I thought that it was a good job.

Our sprinkler system wasn't working, we weren't getting enough pressure. They were awesome. I can't say enough good things about them. I think they run their company with great integrity. They were prompt and they were thorough. The gentleman explained more to me about wells than I ever even wanted to know but it was a good thing because wells are a mysterious critter. He was just very helpful and very patient. I was just impressed with how thorough and prompt they were. Other well diggers and people that repair wells, given the situation at our house, they could have easily just broken the pump in the well and told us that we needed a new well and a new well pump. Somebody could have done that. They didn't. They told us it could happen because they tried to get the pump out of the well. There was seal on the pump that wasn't giving put in by the original well digger. They were so patient, and so slow, and so careful removing the pump out of the well, which they had to do to be able to service the well, they never broke it. Somebody that didn't have their integrity and ethics could have easily broke it.

Very informative and professional. I will definitely use Mork Well in the future.

We really did not know what to expect, but knew the well was under the concrete back steps. It was one of the 100 degree days, and Ron and Collin backed their truck into the back yard, figured where the well was exactly in the basement under the steps and then explained to my husband and I what had to happen. They drilled through the concrete steps into the basement! It was amazing to watch their precision and the drill's power. Ron and Collin were very professional, personable and obviously pros at doing this. And whenever I needed to talk to Jodi and Jacque in the office they were so nice and could answer each of my questions (and answered the phone, instead of having it go to an answering machine the way another well company did). We feel very lucky that Mork Well capped our well, and I would encourage anyone to use them. Thank you to everyone there! Thank you Angie's list for helping me find Mork Well!

I had cancelled last minute the day before & called them again in the morning, deciding the pressure was indeed insufficient. When they arrived and checked it out, one of the guys said it was probably a cracked head. He had pulled the records, new what pump we had, and told me about that kind of pump - including how after about 20 years, they tend to develop a cracked head, causing low pressure. They made quick work of pulling out the old pump. He showed me the cracked head - just as he had explained. They replaced it quickly and cleanly, sanitized the system, and checked & flushed the well. It works great and I feel their regular price was very reasonable (based on my research). With the 10% Angie's discount, it was a good deal. Hopefully I don't need to for quite some time, but I would definitely do business with Mork again.

Came on a Saturday for an extra charge which we expected. Very thorough in discussing possible scenarios about the problem. Good job.

It went well. Both techs arrived on time and took the time to explain how the system worked. They were both knowledgeable, polite and I would definetly use them again.

They came out the same day, which was great for us with a house full of company and no water pressure. They were very professional and explained thing about our system that we were unaware of, since our home had been a foreclosure. It ended up being a blessing in the end and there are not too many times that you can say that about a well repair... :-)

Stellar! is my oneword review. The person answering the phone (Jody) knows what she is doing. The two gentlemen that came to my house were knowledgeable and described what they were doing and why it needed to be done as they worked on my well. They took care to minimize wear and tear on the back yard. Unfortunately my pump was stuck in the well. They needed the truck to pull my pump. Normally they do pull the pump by hand to save wear and tear on the yard. It is now 6:45 in the evening. They are on their way to fix a problem with water in a church. Long day. This is my first A+ recommendation on Angie's List. Mork exceeded my expectations

My home water just didn't seem to be working right! The well was put in by Mork way back in 1984 and hadn't been checked since. I called Mork, they came right out. Within a few minutes they determined that the pressure tank was shot. That was on a Friday. Parts were ordered and they came again early Monday morning. After a couple hours of work everything was done. I have more water pressure and a better working water system than I've ever had in the 21 years I've lived here. Meeting and working with the people at Mork was actually a delight. Very professional, very courteous and very efficient! Ron, the owner, was there on the job. He explained everything to me about how the system should work. They even had all the original paper work with them from the 1984 installation. Very impressive! Billy, the other installer, and Ron worked very hard and wasted no time at all. They let me ask all kinds of questions and explained everything clearly. Mork well has my highest recommendation and I'll gladly call them again if anything goes wrong. They left everything clean, picked up and neat. I would say they are a very honest and hard working company.

We called at 7:30 am to let them know our water was not working. They were here by the afternoon and had it fixed within 20 minutes.

Ron and Bill from Mork Well came out to my home today after I called about the fact that I had no running water in the house. Not only did they replace the motor switch that had failed, but they gave me a thorough explanation of how my well pump worked, what problems I should be on the lookout for, and how often I should charge the system with air [turns out twice a year is the recommendation, rather than once a year, as I have been doing.] They were personable, helpful, expert and quick in their work. They provided outstanding service, and reflect well on Mork Well. Excellent.

Overall it went very good. Took a little time for them to get me scheduled but it was worth the wait. No surprises as far as cost was concerned and they finised in a day.
