LIBERTY COMFORT SYSTEMS

Great service.

Arrived on day and time arranged. Put cloth over carpet to protect carpet. They took out the old furnace and replaced it and we heard no noise. Was only without water for a few minutes because our water heater would not turn off. Installers were friendly and very courteous. Will recommend them to anyone that asks me about them.

Three days from start to finish. Install techs were on time every day. Every night they cleaned up the floors and there work site. Ran ducts and returns to each room and all joints we sealed on the trunks. They even put stubs in for feature remodeling jobs. Was willing to work with me on where to put the runs to make it easier to put the ceiling back together. It took a few weeks before the weather got hot enough to really put it though its paces but we had a week of 90+ weather. I have never been that comfortable in my house.

The service was smooth and professional, they let us watch and bother them with lots of questions which they happily answered during the installation process. The serviceman was friendly and professional. Liberty Comfort Systems has great follow-up, and even send invitations to yearly customer appreciation events which is totally cool and unexpected.

Jim Bonniwell did an excellent job of explaining AC and Heating to us. He took his time and came out a couple of time to adress our questions before we made a decision to go with Liberty Comfort Systems and the Lennox brand. We consulted with about 5 different brands/dealers before making our decision. We ended up going with a new Lennox system from Liberty... 2.5 Ton 16.7 SEER AC and a new 97% Efficient , 65 Stage Variable Speed Furance. I was thoroughly impressed with Jim knowledge and his ability to explain the different levels of products along with how they compared to the other brands. He was not high pressure and never once slammed the competition. The Liberty installation team was very professional, pleasant and thorough in their work. of installing the new ac and furnance system. They took their time to answer questions we had along the way. The cleaned up after the installation, leave me no extra clean-up to do. The Liberty office team made sure all the right information was gathered and then completed and submitted the rebate paperwork for us. This was an extra perk that other dealers did not offer. I really appreciated not having to tackle all kinds of forms, in hopes that I completed everything completely. The Liberty Offfice Team took care of it all. A couple of weeks after the installation, Jim stopped by the double check that the installation was completed to our satification. All was good and I would highly recommend Liberty Comform Systems for your heating and air conditioning needs.

They are very courteous, professional, and the price was comparable.

I bought a new furnace and air conditioner for my house. I shopped around and their bid was in the middle of the pack, but their product had better reviews in Consumer Reports and the owner was far more competent than the other installers I interviewed. Also, I had used them in the past to repair my old furnace and they did a good job then. They showed up on time and the install went off without a hitch. They do good work and recommend you use them. .We had done a home renovation and the City wanted the air conditioning unit to be placed in a different spot. So they came and moved it for us free of charge. They are very good. We will use them in the future. We were very pleased with this company.

Technician reported that compressor motor "run" winding was open (i.e. shorted) and provided estimate for new A/C unit including A coil in furnace (required because of change from R22 refrigerant). However, unit was under home warranty policy and that technician found dirty terminals causing short and blown capacitor on compressor motor. Instead of several thousands of dollars to replace unit, it was a simple repair.

Everything went great! I am very happy and would definitely use them again. The only reason I did not give straight "A's" down the line is because I requested a copy of his insurance before the work was done and did not receive it. I would have liked to have received that, but decided not to hold up the install over it. Everything else was perfect.

They responded very quickly and both the service man (Wade) and office staff (Karen) were very professional and personable. Very customer service oriented in their approach. Would definitely use them again.

Jim dropped by with his service technician to evaluate my needs (including the Manual-J evaluation) and promptly provided me with bid (with model and serial numbers) at the end of the day. VERY pleased by their walk-through of the house as they (and two other bidders) did notice a few issues not surfaced by plumbing work done 2 years ago. Liberty's bid was price competitive and in the end, I did select another bidder. Nonetheless, I rate Liberty highly for their participation and delivery of the replacement bid cost.

Very well! Great salesperson that followed the project from start almost to finish. I had a do-it-yourselfer install dryer venting totally not up to code. My furnace had been red flagged. Liberty quoted prices on replacing the chimney piping and bringing up to code as well as pricing on a power venting furnace and hot water heater. I upgraded on the furnace for energy efficiency. Liberty installed everything the day after I hired them! Awesome professional people that explain anything you ask them about. They caught a problem with rust forming on the A-coil for a/c, so had that replaced also. I was surprised that they didn't summarize care and maintenance of the equipment before they left, but that's probably not a concern for me since they included a year of maintenance as part of the purchase. To complete the job, Liberty will come back in the spring to close off old venting and bleed the lines for a/c. Liberty went above and beyond by taking my 8 year old furnace and will sell it for me. Wow. This company stands out!

Fall of 2009 I was restoring a home for a relative and needed to replace the heating and air conditioning system. I researched five different companies and received bids from each of these companies. These companies all emphasized the cost over the needs of the system and building and I decided not to act on any of them. Dissatisfied with the presentations I made the decision to limp along with the existing system. Six months later my personal air air conditioning system needed replacement and having had a Lennox system for the past thirty years, I wanted another. In researching Lennox I discovered Liberty Comfort Systems. Jim began by asking me my expectations and began an intensive learning system to discover what would satisfy my needs for long term comfort. Once the needs were disvovered he presented systems and costs. (As a side note the ultimate costs of the system installed was very comparable to the other five systems I had researched the previous fall.) I made my selection and planned for the installation. In the military I installed electronic equipment and rarely did an installation go as planned. Usually there were site requirments that required a change to the installation. I expected the same with the installation of my system and was interested to see how it would be accomplished. I was correct, changes needed to be made and the installation crew was excellent at making the adaptation. I discovered years ago that any dealer can sell you a system, but it is the talented technicians that really make all things work. These technicians were talented and did their job efficiently. My installation was completed and the system is so quiet I cannot tell if it is running. I kept checking for the first week and then just assumed it was running. I can stand next to the heat pump outside and cannot hear it running. My old system sounded like a diesel motor. After competion of the first sytem I needed to replace the systems in an office building. I replaced these with three more systems similar to the one I put in my house. When my relatives are ready to replace their heating system we will be replacing it with a similar system. I went from investigating five different dealers, all well respected in the Twin Cities, and selecting none of them to purchasing four, and eventually five, systems from Liberty Comfort Systems because they took the time to find out what I wanted in comfort. In business, I am a dentist. For thirty years I have helped people achieve the level and type of health they wanted. I always began by asking them what they wanted and what their expectations were. I then helped them achieve their expectations. I always emphasized value over cost and the patients who were proactive and participated in their own health always achieved the best outcomes for ultimately the lowest cost. I approached my heating and air conditioning system with the same philosophy. I'm satisfied. If you want: - a sytem that is predictable, -from a dealer that is knowledgeable and engaged in the process, -with a team of technicians that get the job done -at a price that is comparable to others but delivers value, then call Liberty Comfort Systems. The employee who came to our house was very pleasant to deal with. We met with the owner and his work crew and they were very prompt. They left the work area in a neat manner. They advertise that you can reach them after hours and at one point we did need them after hours and were able to get a hold of them. They did what they came to do and it was a pleasure to work with them. Overall, we were very pleased with the whole experience.

We had a wonderful experience and cannot recommend this company more highly. Jim, the owner, was very flexible and prompt about scheduling our first meeting. He spent a TON of time with us, educating, sharing his opinions/recommendations and multiple options, and answering questions. He then was able to draw up several price options and meet with us again without any pressure. He thoroughly investigated the best rebate and discount options there were at the time. His team was at our house bright and early, as planned, in only several days to install the products. They were very courteous and friendly, and careful not to make a mess of the place. Jim came back to inspect things after they had left, actually having them come back to tweak a couple small details. He had high expectations of his employees and their quality of work. We are completely happy, 1 or 2 months later.

Professional, prompt both before and after the system was installed. Great customer service.

Jim was able to do the estimate in the evening so I didn't need to take off time from work. He provided multiple options and recommended what would be the best fit for my house. There was no pressure to take his recommendation. I was able to schedule for a Friday and the furnace and AC was replaced in just a few hours. Wade reviewed everything with me after the installation including programming of the new thermostat. They also installed the humidifier I had recently put on my older furnace at no extra charge. Everything went smooth and I will definitely call Liberty for maintenance.

Not real good. He tried to charge us 350 until I said I was only paying 250 for an igniter. He had previously performed a system upkeep and cleaning. Then he tried selling us repairs to our system for 900. When I tried getting a second estimate, two contractors said I didn't really need that work done. So, I think Jim, tries to take advantage of the customers.

He had just undergone back surgery before he came out and he was even wearing a back brace. He spent a great deal of time in discomfort in order to give us a quotation and we were extremely happy with the work he did. Its not all that often that you can be happy with service people, but we were very happy with Jim. I have recommended them to several people including my son who used him and was also very happy with him.

Jim, owner, was very friendly and professional, as were the team who installed the system. A very positive experience! We had a number of delays due to the builders, which required Liberty to make revisits, which Liberty was very flexible working with. Again we are very pleased with this company!

EVERYTHING WAS DONE TO MY SATISFACTION. APPOINTMENTS WERE KEPT ON TIME, SHOWING UP EARLY ON ALL OCCASION. COMPANY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND BY INSTALLING ADDITIONAL VENTS. EMPLOYEES WERE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL.

THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND THEY EXPLAINED THE REPAIR BEFORE DOING IT. THEY LET US KNOW HOW MUCH IT WAS GOING TO COST BEFORE WE MADE THE PAYMENT. THEY CAME OUT ON SHORT NOTICE.
