Jen and Jeff were amazing to work with! Our first contact was me calling and wondering if it was possible to sell our home in this market. Jen and Jeff made an appointment to come to our home and treated us with the utmost respect. We told them we were interested in possibly selling, and considering the possibility of purchasing a lot through our builder. We were clear with them that we were not going to use their real estate services to purchase a home. Despite that, they sat for quite a while with us and answered all our questions, took photos of our home, and came back to present the market analysis. It was a very thorough, professional document indicating we would not be able to sell for what we owed. At this point, Jen knew we weren't going to be using them to buy or sell, and she was still courteous and respectful and seemed genuinely interested in helping us determine what was best for us. We eventually shifted away from the building idea and I sent her lots of MLS numbers to get information about. She was always prompt in responding. We rather quickly found a home we fell in love with, but we didn't think we'd be able to purchase because of the home we already owned. She and Jeff were once again helpful and supportive in helping us sift through our options. With their support and information, we are now renting our previous home and living in our dream home! I highly recommend their service to anyone. Even if you are unsure of your options, Jen and Jeff will listen to you, respect you, and help you determine the best path for you.

My husband found Jen here on Angie's List when we were getting ready to buy our first home here in Minnesota. It was very important to us to work with someone who got good reviews from people who had been through the same experience that we were about to embark on. We sent Jen an initial email and received a response within a day, even though she was on vacation in Arizona. She set us up to get MLS listings and we set to work picking out houses that we wanted to look at once Jen got back from vacation. About a week later, we met Jen and her husband Jeff at a coffee shop and went over paperwork and then went to see several houses that we had been watching on various real estate websites for a few weeks. It was nice to work with Jen and Jeff as a team...we really enjoyed that Jeff had a strong background in real estate as well and was very knowledgeable about structural issues, etc. They also gave their opinions about the houses that we went to see and were honest with us they saw something that was concerning to them. After seeing the first day of houses, we knew that we hadn't found "The One" and scheduled time to see a few more the next day that weren't available for showings when we were out looking on day one. We had to bring our 7-year old daughter along because we didn't have anyone to watch her. Jen and Jeff were really nice to her and she really liked riding in the back of their SUV.:-) One of the houses that we went to see on Day 2 happened to be a home that we had gone to an open house a week or so earlier on our own that we wanted to take another look at because we really liked it. After walking through the rest of the houses, we decided that we wanted to make an offer on the one that we were seeing for a second time. Jen wrote up the offer after advising us to put in an agressive offer. After a little back and forth, our offer was accepted. Jen and Jeff recommended a Home Inspector who was great and were there for us every step of the way when we had questions. We closed on 5/15/13 and everything went very smoothly, thanks to Jen and Jeff's follow through. They even were thoughtful enough to get us a return address stamp with our new home's address on it. That was a nice touch. You can't go wrong if you hire Jen and Jeff to either help find you a new home or sell your existing one. They really know their stuff and are nice people to boot. We really enjoyed the time we wpent with them and felt very well taken care of during what can be quite a stressful experience. There is a reason that they have gotten so many positive reviews on Angie's List....they are just that GOOD! Thanks Jen and Jeff! :-)

All I can say is AMAZING!! From the very start Jen and her husband were attentive, understanding and patient with my lack of knowledge and questions. They helped with wonderful suggestions of staging my home and walked me through every step of the way. Her husband took wonderful pictures to present the home and the flyers were very nicely done. She answered all my numerous emails promptly and even followed up with a phone call when she sensed I was apprehensive and not understanding what was happening. My house went on the market on a Friday, WE GOT 17 OFFERS IN 48 HOURS AND OFFER ACCEPTED SATURDAY NIGHT AT A HIGHER PRICE THEN LISTED!!! As I said AMAZING!!! Even now, as we draw closer to the signing date, she calls me once a week to touch base and give updates. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND JEN! Her kind and understanding heart was a joy to work with. This whole experience was totally stress-free. HIRE HER, YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT :)

I found Jen on Angie's List when my husband and I decided to buy our first house. We only knew two realtors, neither of which we wanted to help us find our new home or did we trust to do so. After looking at the reviews on Angie's List I sent off an email to Jen and a few others. Jen called me within minutes of emailing her and started a portal for us with homes to look at within a day. She was patient and helpful while we were waiting to hear back about our loan pre-approval. Once pre-approved we set up a time to look at houses and meet in person for the first time. My husband had been a little unsure when he found out Jen worked with her husband Jeff as well but he found that he really liked having both of them there for a male and female opinion as we were walking through different houses. It was great to have both Jen and Jeff because if one of them was busy, the other was available which worked out as we were in somewhat of a time crunch to find and buy a house. Jeff came along with us to our home inspection and they were both available at our closing. They provided helpful information along the way and Jen was always there by email or phone whenever there was something we didn't understand as well as for any bumps along the way. As much stress that goes along with the home buying process especially when you're first time home buyers, it was great having Jen and Jeff to make everything go more smoothly and help with anything we had questions about. Both my husband and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend both Jen and Jeff to anyone looking to buy a home in the Twin Cities area and would definitely use them again!

As was the experience with the first transaction, this went very smooth. Jen and Jeff did a very thorough market analysis of our home and walked through it with us suggesting things to fix, change, and paint. Also staging suggestions were brought up but the only staging we did was to leave artwork on the walls as we had already moved our furniture to our new home. After going through the market analysis, Jen and Jeff suggested a price that I was concerned was too high. We were very motivated to sell quickly as we were uncomfortable with two mortgages. We went along with their recommendation and it turned out to be perfect! We had an accepted offer within 24 hours of listing our home, and ended up with three offers. Jen was very good about helping us understand the pluses and minuses of the offers. Our first offer ended up backing out, but Jen effortlessly guided the second offer in and that was the one that we ended up selling to. Jen kept us informed every step of the way, and Jeff's great eye for technical and building detail helped us to make sure that any fix pit issues were cleared up. During the process, Jen and Jeff were on vacation for a week and you wouldn't have even known they were gone as their communication is stellar and timely. We ended up closing on time with no problems. I've never had such a smooth real estate transaction.

My husband and I were in a one bedroom apartment when we met Jen, and Jeff and we told them that we wanted to find a house that would be affordable for us (a young couple working through school debt) yet would still be a house that we could grow into as a family (in other words, we wanted to skip the "starter house"). We started the search in August and the houses that matched our criteria were showing up slowly, with only 1-2 houses available for showings at a time. Jen and Jeff were very clear with us from the beginning that what we were looking for could be difficult to come by since we had some specific ideas and a lower budget. Still, they were incredibly supportive of what we were looking for and never once implied that we needed to increase our budget or that we were wasting their time by having such a narrow field. Any and all questions that we had for Jen were answered usually within an hour or two. When they were out of town at a real estate conference, they made arrangements for another realtor to come to our aide if a house came up that we wanted to see while they were away. In January, my husband and I had a chat and decided that we were going to be a little less picky about our "needs," and the very same night we had that discussion with Jen and Jeff, we found the house we had been praying for! Jeff was able to book a showing right away and everything went very quickly and smoothly after that. We were able to put in an offer online which was nice so that we didn't have to find another meeting time that worked for the four of us during a busy week. The inspection of the house went well, and I should say here that Jeff is very helpful and honest during showings. He has had a lot of experience with houses and inspections, and while not an inspector himself, has a sense of what to look for. Throughout our time spent with him he never hesitated to point out the pros AND cons of each house we looked at, especially concerning safety issues. So when the house was inspected, we weren't too surprised with what they told us and were comfortable to move forward with the closing. Jen and Jeff made buying a house a lot simpler than I was anticipating because they handle the paperwork so well and explain everything in a way that made sense to us. My overall take away experience of working with Jen and Jeff is that they respected and cared about us as clients even though we were inexperienced home-buyers and had some particular ideas within a smaller budget.

Jen and Jeff were both fantastic to work with. we were hoping fir the best and that's exactly what we got! Their explanation and advice was stellar. We were able to understand each step of the process fully. I'm a skeptical person by nature but I trusted Jen's advice entirely. She's a seasoned pro and knows what she's doing. The photos both she and Jeff took of our home turned out beautifully. They re-arranged our furniture to make our home look much more open and welcoming. The quality of each photo was great-we were very impressed! Our house sold within a DAY of being listed and we received four offers. We were nervous about selling and Jen graciously guided us through, giving us her input and insight. On a added note, I can't say enough about how personable Jen & Jeff are. We ended up felling like we had made two new friends! In fact, I was disappointed we didn't get a chance to grab a drink sometime! They really are a fantastic team and deserve all their success and then some.

We contacted Jen Geisinger on October 15th, as she had very good reviews on Angie's List. The following week we started to look at homes based on our criteria. Jen and her husband Jeff work as a team, most times showing us homes together. This worked out very well as Jen is a strong realtor and was able to understand our taste in homes immediately. Jeff has a great eye for details and understands the technical systems in homes (for example, he was able to explain how different unique heating systems worked in homes we visited). My wife and I are pretty good at finding what we want to see using several different MLS-based websites, however, Jen was able to also locate homes for us to see that we hadn't found online. We looked at quite a few homes, at least a few dozen or so. We also searched in several areas from Minneapolis to Minnetrista. I can't say enough good things about these people! They were very quick to answer emails and calls, always happy to spend time looking at homes, and are also excellent negotiators. Once we did get an accepted offer, they were also great with helping with the inspection, and skillfully guiding the closing process to a conclusion with no drama and on time. What more could you want in an agent?! Plus, they are great people and fun to work with. If you work with them, you will be happy you did and will recommend them to all your friends. I've bought and sold several homes, and they were by far the best realtors ever!

My husband and I didn't, necessarily, have the same ideas in mind when we went in to the home search process. Jen Geisinger really listened to our individual needs and helped us find the perfect home that fit the needs and desires of both of us. She was very willing to show us homes until we found the right one. She was always patient, positive and helpful and gave useful advice. I could really tell she was the right person for the job because she was very knowledgeable and confident in the field. She followed up with us even after closing, making sure we were able to connect all utilities and followed up on the lock box removal. I felt very at ease with my situation in her hands and I would highly recommend Jen if you're thinking of buying or selling a home.

Jen was fantastic -- then added with her helpful husband, Jeff, the purchase of my first home went so smoothly! Here are some disjointed comments for you to consider: 1. She purposefully and continually supported me to purchase within my means and never pressured me to buy closer to my limit 2. She is fantastic at adapting to varying personalities. I'm opinionated and a control freak about everything, and my house-shopping partner is a practical, bull-headed, money-concious handyman. It was impressive that she could adapt to such varying personalities with perfect ease. 3. Item #2 probably goes hand-in-hand with my next point. I believe she is an expert at negotiating. She negotiated the purchase price down twice. She also forwarded me a few emails to communicate about a topic and when reading what she had emailed the sellers, her emails were very tactifully written -- better than we would have ever done alone. 4. She was always early to every meeting, very organized for my organized mind, and had great strategies for the confused home buyer to stay focused. 5. She loves to work with first time home buyers! Her costs were part of the closing costs which she was able to negotiate the sellers to pay for, so there was no cost to me to utilize her services. I was so satisfied with the experience, I plan to work with her when I plan to sell. 6. I've already recommended her to 2 of my close friends. 7. She knew the St Paul and Como park area well -- I was concerned that if she was based in Maple Grove that it would be difficult to work with her since I lived and worked in Woodbury. I contacted her and within 2 days we had an appointment where she drove out to Woodbury and we had our first meeting. Every other time we met, she met me where it was convenient for me. 8 . What I loved most was when we were visiting houses -- we would meet at the first house, jump in her car while Jeff drove and navigated, and then she and I were free to discuss questions, etc from one house to the next. It was enjoyable instead of stressful when you don't know the neighborhood yet. 9. I was learning every moment through each house we visited and each step of the process because of Jen and Jeff. They pointed about good and bad qualities in each home, areas of concern, and areas that are unique to the Como Park area. I never felt like they were trying to convince me to buy a house, nor to only buy the most expensive one. Thank you so much! We have been super happy with our home and our experience for the last 10 months!

Jen and Jeff helped me both sell my home and buy a new home. Jen is quite experienced, knowledgeable, ethical, thorough, and efficient related to the real estate process. Since I was both ready to sell and buy, Jen and Jeff were quick in getting the process up and going. With Jen and Jeff you really get two for the price of one I think. I have worked with 4 different real estate agents in the past and never had this high quality of professionalism and assistance as I got from Jen and Jeff. We had a complicated situation due to a planned relocation from the East Coast and the fact that we had to bring along our twins while home shopping. Although in the end we did not move to Minnesota, Jen was terrific and a huge help every step of the way. If we were going to buy a home in the Twin Cities, we absolutely would choose to work with her again. She's terrific.

Thanks to Jen we had a lot of showings and sold our house within 4 months. She followed up on each showing and told us what the people liked and didn't like about our house. She guided us on how to price our house and we were happy with the final sale. The closing went smooth except for the big snow storm that day. When we were building our new house she was always available if we had questions. Jen is thorough and pays attention to the details. She is tireless and really cares.

We were going to relocate from Minnesota to East Coast and plan to sell our house. Our parent in-law live close by and they need to sell their house as well. We first found an agent who is associate with another agent we worked with before. We used her to list our in-law's house first. However, due to some different opinions. We have decided not to continue with her service. We then found Jen on Angie's List as one of the top Real Estate Agent. Given our past experience with Angie's list, we have decided to give a try. On the day she shows up for the first meeting, she has shown professionalism and attention to details for collecting information. She is also very pleasant to work with and willing to go extra milage to achieve our goal. You will see why next. During the time of listing, because we already moved away, the house was not attended to and has shown signs of lack of tidiness. Jen and her partner actually went to my in-law's house and helped us clean up the mess. We later have our house listed by her as well. Two months later, we had both houses sold in a very competitive market. Thanks to Jen and her partner Jeff's efforts. One last comment is that Jen made several suggestion on both houses to make them more attractive and presentable. We worked hard to accommodate most of the suggestions. I think the result reflects our combine efforts. So if anyone want to sell their house in today's market, you will have to put some works to it.

I picked Jen from Angies List since she has the best rating of any Agent listed. Jen is very professional (and a nice/fun person) and knows everything about real estate so we hired her immediately upon meeting her. She told us everything we needed to update/fix and hooked us up with a Stager in our area. Once listed, we had immediate showings and our house sold for almost full price in 1 WEEK! Jen makes this very stressful process easy. We were out of town the week before closing (honeymoon) and had some issues with the inspection, but Jen took care of lining up the work and got everything fixed. You can't ask for anything more from an agent. The closing went without issues. If you want to sell your house - Jen is your agent.

We bought a house before beginning to think about selling our existing house so we were in need of finding an agent that was ready to work for us to make a quick sale. We interviewed a few candidates and felt that Jen was a good personality fit for us. We really liked how upfront she was about everything throughout the process. She explained to us why open houses don't work, why staging does and why she charges a refundable upfront fee. She markets like crazy (though not in newspapers) and designs a beautiful brochure. Jen was great with our kids and was easy to get a hold of. Jen paid for a staging consultant to come assess our house. Hands down this was the service that added the most value to our home. We took the majority of the stager's advice (decluttering, painting, rearranging) and rented a few pieces of artwork and furniture to really make the home pop. This wasn't easy as we have 3 kids under 3 but it was worth it as we only had two showings before we got our first offer (and ultimately a sale) - in 2.5 weeks! We were absolutely thrilled, especially since no other houses had sold on our street in months. Obviously, we did the work with making our house a showpiece and we were realistic in what we could expect price-wise so those things make a huge difference but Jen met or exceeded our expectations in every way as a real estate agent and we would use her again in a second. This was an A+ experience from beginning to end.

Jen is highly professional, provides high quality service, and is a fun person to work with. She gave us good advice on some needed updates and staging for our old house and it paid off in that our house sold after being on the market only 38 days. She worked on our behalf in negotiations with the buyers and there never was a doubt that Jen was in our corner. She again ably assisted us in negotiations on our new house and helped us gain a good price and a number of fix up items from the seller. I was a real pleasure working with Jen and we would highly recommend her to anyone needing a Realtor.

I starting working with Jen in August, 2009 and we looked at ALOT of homes together. There were unusual circumstances on some and we continued to search. I closed on my new home on 4/15/10, and as of this writing Jen has continued to follow up with me to see how things are going. Now that is great!
