Jen and Jeff are AMAZING!! I can't say enough wonderful things about them. I felt like I was their only client - they responded to my questions in a very timely manner. Jen even worked on an offer during her vacation time. When I first met them it was after having a bad experience with a different realtor. I explained the issues I had with the first realtor and they listened to me and took note of the things I thought went wrong the first time I tried to sell my house. Then they went through my house and gave me no-nonsense, honest ideas on how to stage the house, and told me what updates I needed to make. I loved the ideas they had and that they really knew what buyers were looking for. Jeff took beautiful photos, and the flyers they put together were very professional. Everything from beginning to end went so smoothly. Not to mention, Jen is an amazing negotiator and was able to sell my house for a great price.

The whirlwind of the move is finally over and in the past. We have been in our new "forever" home for 3 months now. Before we found a realtor I was already dreading the task of moving a whole household. I have 5 kids, a dog and 2 cats. Yikes! How the heck was I going to do it all: the showings, the cleaning and keeping up, and finding the right new house that fit our long list of needs? Before we found the Geisingers we had met with 2 other realtors. Neither were a good fit for us. We didn't see eye to eye on the big picture. After that is when I remembered that an old high school friend who I had recently reconnected with on Facebook had mentioned that he and his wife were a realtor team. So, I gave Jeff a call. Turned out to be the best call we could have made. Jen & Jeff Geisinger were with us through the whole buying and selling journey from beginning to end. They answered every single question and phone call. They were punctual and followed through with every word they said. After the walkthrough of the house we were selling, they helped us come up with a plan to get it ready and get the most we could for our home. When we were ready to look for our own new house, Jeff was able to get us into almost every single one within a day or two. When things started to go south after our buyers had problems with their own mortgage company, Jen fought tooth and nail and spent hours and hours calling and emailing everyone she could to help get the other peoples issues resolved. I can honestly say that I have never had any service provider work as hard for me and my family for anything ever as Jen & Jeff did for us. We could not have done it without them. With their help and expertise we were able to sell our home after only 4 days on the market! I believe this was ONLY possible because of the advice they gave us to get our house ready to sell. We took it to heart and followed through. They are an amazing team. They bring a wealth of knowledge, commitment, optimisum and energy. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, but I won't have to since they found us exactly what we were looking for in our new home. We couldn't be happier. I was referred to Jen Geisinger from a mortgage broker that I found on Angie's list. Since Jen was highly rated, I called her and asked her if she could show my husband and me some houses in the Wayzata school district. She said her husband, Jeff, was better qualified to show houses and we set up an appointment with him. Jeff was a nice enough guy, but we soon discovered that he was newer to the real estate business than Jen and that she "recruited" him to help her with her business. The focus of the Geisingers is to list and sell houses. They will show buyers houses, but it is more of an afterthought than a key part of their business. Jeff took us out looking many times. He often said 'bring your checkbook" and always inferred that we should just pick one of the houses we had seen that day rather than continuing to look. We asked him about comparable prices for a certain house and he just said, "That's tough to do because the various properties in this area can be so different". We ended up making an offer on a house after seeing it one time because we thought it would sell quickly. We felt like we were paying too much, but there was a lot of pressure from Jen and Jeff to offer very close to the asking price. They never said anything about whether the house was fairly priced. After the inspection, we ended up pulling out of the deal because we felt we were paying too much. That house ended up selling for $15,000 less than our offer, which proved to us that we were right about the price. After that, Jeff tried to refer us to his father who has been a realtor for many years. Jeff had already told us that he didn't want to work for his father, so we weren't sure why we would want him to be our realtor. We were really surprised that he referred us because we also had a house to sell so he was giving up two commissions. We ended up calling a different realtor, Julie Borgen, who was wonderful to work with. She never said "bring your checkbook" and she always found us comparable properties. She gave us honest feedback on the price of the houses we were looking at and any resale issues we should consider. We bought a house with Julie in August and are very happy with the purchase. We really tried to make the relationship with the Geisingers work, but in the end it just didn't. I thought about giving them a D, but the reality is that they Failed to find us a house that met our needs.

Jen and Jeff are amazing. We contacted them a few years ago when we were thinking of selling our house, and they met with us twice, and gave us lots of great information, but we ended up not being ready to sell yet. We contacted them again recently after being offered a job transfer out of state. We didn't have much time before we needed to move, and Jen and Jeff were extremely accommodating and were able to get our house listed right away. Jen gave us tips on how to stage our home, and Jeff spent a lot of time taking beautiful photos of the interior and exterior of our home. Jen and Jeff are very knowledgable about the current market, and we feel great about the entire process of working with them. Our experience with Jen and Jeff Geisinger was exceptional, including: NOTE: I could not electronically enter the cost of service above. It was not zero as shown there. They charged about 6-6.5% of asking price, which I thought was fair. - Initial meeting with them in Summer 2013, when we first considered listing our home. They listened to selling goals, gave advice on preparing home for listing, brought comparable sale price quotes on first visit, were friendly and easy to work with. I also interviewed one other agent at this time. - We decided not to sell our house last summer, but to defer to this summer. I notified both agents I'd contacted and the other agent did not respond to my email at all. Jen and Jeff sent a note supporting our decision not to sell, commenting that it seemed the best step for us to defer until we had more time to devote to sale. - They contacted me in February (as they said they would) to inquire if we still wanted to sell our home. We did. - They again visited with us, brought comparable sale prices, outlined their service, and again provided advice of what we should do to prepare our home for sale. They said most of their clients, if the price is right and if the home is prepared properly for sale, are able to sell within the first week of listing. - We did all the preparation they recommended to make the home walk-in ready for sale. . - Jeff took exceptional photos prior to listing that showed our house to good advantage. They also worked with us closely during the home listing preparation, including answering email, text, and phone messages promptly. I never had to wait for a call back and felt they were 100% available for all sorts of questions. - The house received an offer within 24 hours, which was for the full asking price. We accepted. - During preparation for closing, both Jen and Jeff remained in close contact, quickly returning text, email and phone messages within a few hours. I received clear advice on how to handle negotiations with the buyer prior to closing. - Our house closed 5 weeks after it was listed. I strongly recommend Jen and Jeff for your house sale. They are really exceptional. We were pleased with everything.

In February of 2014 my wife and I decided to sell our home we interviewed 3 real-estate firms. Jen and Jeff impressed us the most, they were very detailed in their presentation. We felt that other realtors were more mechanical in their approach. When they arrived at our home for the first time Jeff asked permission to take photo's of our home in its present condition. We interviewed them for about 30 minutes, we walked around our home as Jeff took pictures. My wife asked why he was taking pictures on their first visit. His response was that they wanted to compare our home to comparable sales apples to apples. On their first visit they did not quote us what they felt our home was worth. Instead they started looking up past sales, and with the pictures they were able to compare our market more accurately. On their next visit they had a quote for us, along with recommendations of upgrades. They priced our home with upgrades and without. After that meeting it did not take long for us to ask them to represent us in selling and buying a new home. We followed 90% of their recommendations for selling our home and boy we are glad we listened. WE SOLD OUR HOME IN 2 1/2 DAYS!!!! Fantastic. We were searching for our first home and we found Jen and Jeff here at Angie's list. Since they had good reviews, we tried to contact Jen and we got her response faster than we've anticipated. They met us and explained to us step-by-step on what to do. Although we had some issues on getting a loan from WellsFargo (not Jen's fault though), she calmed us down and helped us all the way. Jen and Jeff are a very great team and it's so much better having 2 people helping you than just one. Jeff is great during the house inspection while Jen is on the negotiation part. They worked hand-in-hand. We're so glad we've asked for their help! We strongly recommend them!

Several months before I even put my house on the market Jen and Jeff came out to the house to give us their advice on what to do to get the house ready for market. This was with no contract or guarantee that we would use them when we did list it. Throughout the whole process of getting ready to list, putting it on the market and, after we accepted an offer, Jen and Jeff were there with their help and support to guide us through the whole process.

I've put off writing this until our house sale was done and final, because I knew Jen would give us more positive things to say through the process. We recently decided to move after accepting a job out of state, which meant we wanted to sell the house quickly. We contacted Jen for a consultation to see if it was worth listing the house in late fall. She and Jeff showed up and took a quick tour of the house, noting little things that could be updated, asked us some questions and promised an estimate soon. A few days later we talked again and went through what she felt was the best price to list our house, based on the market. It was obvious she knew the area and market, and we trusted her judgement completely. She was very thorough in her explanations of the process and gave us tons of helpful information, which we definitely valued as first-time home sellers. We got our house listed the next week and had an offer within 48 hours (thanks to her pricing recommendation, no doubt.) She was able to negotiate it up to listing price and we signed an agreement. All went well until the night before our scheduled close, when the buyer asked to extend closing date. We agreed and packed up the house to move out of state, confident it'd close soon. Well, after a few more delays, we had a new closing date a few weeks later. The buyer's agent was less than responsive, and Jen was able to keep us sheltered from most of the hassle. She was fantastic at keeping us up-to-speed on the status of the sale, without involving us in all of the drama going on (of which I'm guessing there was plenty.) We always felt like our house and the sale was being well taken care of, which was invaluable as we were hours away. To our frustration, the first buyer walked away from the closing table in dramatic fashion, leaving us back at square one with an empty house to sell. Jen, again, was fantastic as she helped us navigate the mess of recouping our earnest money and the following relisting of the house. In less than 2 weeks, we ended up with 4 new offers (I'm confident this was due to Jen's pricing recommendation and her coordination of information to the potential buyers' agents.) Jen worked with the new buyer to negotiate a date for closing and went out of her way to reassure us that this buyer was serious about the house, following up with the lender and realtor. The house made it through inspection with a small renegotiation and eventually closed a few weeks ahead of schedule! I truly don't believe we would have been as confident with another Realtor. Jen responded very quickly to all of our emails, regardless of request and kept us at ease with the whole process. My only disappointment is that we couldn't bring her with us to Wisconsin for our next home-buying adventure!

Jen and Jeff were a joy to work with - especially gratifying as this was a very stressful and complicated move. They listened and were responsive to my wishes and always were prompt in answering questions and keeping me informed about anything related to the transaction. I felt I could contact them any time with any concern, no matter how trifling it might seem. Additionally, they are both very upbeat which was appreciated as the listing was in the fall and not a prime market time. The husband of this team is very good with technically questions which was extremely helpful being that most houses we looked at were older. Though their personalities are warm and engaging, they' didn't let the other side push us around. We were in good hands, are in our new home and we love it. The entire experience of working with Jen and Jeff Geisinger of Luke Team Realty was wonderful. They were responsive in communications, provided clear information and expectations, really listened and responded to our concerns and were very positive in tone. We wanted to work with agents who would go the extra mile because we were selling an owner-built custom home that was very unique. Even though it was an hour outside of their immediate geographical area Jen and Jeff were open to considering handling our sale. After meeting us and seeing our home they were very excited and interested and we felt very assured about their enthusiasm for the job. They even did some extra research into the special characteristics of our home to add to their knowledge base in order to properly describe and market our home (post and beam construction, slab on grade foundation, straw bale insulation). We completed the staging on our own with some great suggestions from Jen and Jeff. Upon our request some additional photos were taken after the first photo shoot that we felt better represented the home's look. The virtual walk through video was a fabulous piece of the marketing. The buyers told me that they really responded to that video and forwarded links to their friends and family. Even before they visited the house, the marketing materials gave them the feeling that this was their dream house. Jen knew what she was doing during the sale negotiations. We'd already lowered our listing price once before our buyers came onto the scene. She helped us to get the price that we wanted and needed by being firm about our asking price and using some personal property as bargaining chips. I believe this worked out great for both sides of the sale. The closing went very smoothly. There were no surprises. After the closing Jen was available when I had some questions about a post-sale concern of the buyers. We highly recommend the services of Jen and Jeff Geisinger of Luke Team Realty. Her strategy was to price it competitively so that it would sell very quickly. It did sell- our first offer came in 10 hours after it went on the market, and it was over asking price. We ended up accepting the offer. Unfortunately, due to unforseen family circumstances, we decided after the purchase agreement had been signed that we did not want to sell our house. We were originally planning to relocate but the plans changed and we decided that we wanted to stay in our house. Jen helped us deal with the situation to the best of her ability. The buyers of our house were very difficult to work with and their realtor was not only difficult but also employed some unethical practices during the sell. Jen fought hard for us and did her best to keep us in the house. Unfortunately, the buyers decided to proceed with the sale and we lost the house. Jen was very professional and did a fantastic job. We would absolutely hire her again.

Jen and Jeff were wonderful through out the whole process. Jen and Jeff compliment each other very well. They work together very well.They listened to us and gave us the right advise. Thee helped us stage our home really well. They made the home selling process less stressful There was a gap of 1 year between when we sold our old home and bought the new one. They kept in touch through out this time. We are now in our new home and Jen and Jeff still keep in touch. They are very professional when they work with you, but after the process you walk away with a great new home, experience and friends( Jen and Jeff).

I was extremely apprehensive about the whole home-buying process since I wasn?t sure what to expect and was concerned about approaching it alone. However, Jen and Jeff were amazing, and I?m so thankful I contacted them! From the first phone call with Jen, I knew she was the one I wanted to work with through this process. She was extremely patient with me and answered all of my questions thoroughly. She listened to what I was looking for and asked questions to clarify what was non-negotiable to me and what I was willing to settle on. I was looking to purchase sooner rather than later since my lease was up in a few weeks, and Jen really worked with me to ensure everything moved quickly. Immediately after talking to her, I was receiving listings that met my criteria and within a week, Jen had scheduled several showings for me. Luckily, I found the house for me that first day of showings, and from that point forward, Jen was an all-star at walking me through what I needed to do. She made an offer that day and pushed the seller?s agent for an answer when he initially said it would be a few days. I really appreciated her recommendation on which lender and home inspector to use ? I was thoroughly satisfied with both of them. It honestly was such a better experience than I had ever thought possible. Jen was so attentive and often called to check-in and update me on the process. And Jeff was great ? he came to the home inspection to ensure I understood everything, which really put me at ease. I?m so grateful I found Jen and Jeff on here. Jen helped my former wife and I purchase our second home, and it was a very good experience - especially compared to when we bought our first home with a different realtor. We interviewed four realtors that time before hiring Jen, and I'm sure you can find my previous review (2008) in the Angie's List archives. So when I needed a realtor earlier this year, I only made one call. Jen and I discussed my criteria at length, including the fact that I would not be making a purchase until two months down the road. But she got right to work anyway and provided me a good sampling of townhouses and single-family homes that met my criteria. Eventually I was ready to start seeing some homes and moving toward a purchase. Jen was always super responsive to my hectic schedule, and we viewed a few homes (I think just 4-5 before I made an offer). What I appreciate most about Jen is she remembered things from our first home buying experience (2008), and she seemed to understand from the outset what I was looking for. And her thoroughness during the showings is exceptional. She always catches things I would have missed had I been on my own, and she asks good questions both during and after the showing to be sure she's in sync with me. I met Jeff Geisinger in 2008 when Jen helped us buy our house, so it was a good experience to work with him during the post-offer phases this time around. Jeff was there when I met with the home inspector, and I truly appreciate how well Jeff understands things like construction, plumbing, electrical (especially for the surround sound I was planning to install later), etc. He's very knowledgeable and has a great attitude. Jen and Jeff stayed in touch while the closing date approached, and Jeff made the much-longer-than-it-had-to-be closing bearable. I have recommended Jen's services to others, and I will continue to do so. She and Jeff are my friends now, and I know I can count on them again if I ever buy another house. Meanwhile, I'm happy to highly recommend them to you!

Everything went very well. The owners of the house we were buying attempted to sit on our final offer after meeting them halfway. I had a lot of other things on my mind as it was mere days before Christmas so I was less than lucid in my response when asked what the next move should be. Jen picked up on my brain scramble and said plainly, "Look, if you pull your offer I can pretty much guarantee they'll go for it." For whatever reason, I wasn't nervous to pull the offer even though we really wanted this house. Jen called their realtor withdrawing our offer. Within 20 minutes, the seller's agent called her back and accepted the offer. Hiring Jen was a sound business decision. She really knows her stuff and can be a very shrewd negotiator without a scintilla of recklessness. Which brings me to the other head of this real estate hydra... her husband, Jeff. Jen's business is deservedly booming, and a lot of it is due to her partnership with Jeff. While Jen would often have an almost silly amount of clients to appease, nothing fell through the cracks. Jeff was her silent assassin. If Jen was inundated, we would never know it because Jeff was there, friendly yet iron-jawed and never afraid to ask an inspector questions about a property if he wasn't 100% sure. Jeff was a super-computer of home knowledge, programmed to accept additional data and store it accordingly should it not be present, rather than spewing 1s and 0s of hogwash if he was less than certain. I am usually very reluctant of the following, but my advice to any Angie's List user: If they refer you to someone--a mortgage broker, an inspector, etc.-- take it. We took their advice on the broker and inspector and... well... you'll just have to read my reviews of them when they go up. [All A's, I'm not even kidding.]

We met with Jennifer and her husband intitially to discuss the sale of our home. Jennifer and her husband took notes and a lot of photos. They left our initial meeting to do their market research and we met again a week later to discuss their findings. What they told us was we could expect to get about $240,000 for our home. We were shocked at this lowball price and Jennifer could obviously see our dismay. She then asked if we thought this price was too high? This comment added insult to injury and we couldn't end our conversation quickly enough. Fortunately we had been talking to another realtor at the same time and when we followed up with them two days later they had completely different findings from their market analysis. They told us we could expect about $100,000 more than what Jennifer said our home was worth. We ended up listing our home with the second realtor and our home sold for nearly our asking price in three days. What made Jennifer look even worse is the fact that our home sold to someone who attended an open house. When Jennifer and her husband met with us they made a point of stating that they do not hold open houses because homes no longer sell that way. An even funnier thing is that my wife and I found our new home by attending an open house. But for the open house we would have never seen the home we ended up buying. In summary, our experience with Jennifer was terrible and a waste of time.

This was the first house my husband and I have ever bought. We did not have the best experience with the realtor who helped us purchase it, so I specifically got an Angie's list account to find someone who would better fulfill our expectations. That's when I found Jen! :) From the very beginning, Jen was approachable and ultra friendly, yet professional. During one of our first conversations I informed Jen of my husband's severe anxieties about selling our home. She was receptive and non judgmental, and she clearly kept that in mind whenever she spoke business with my husband. Jen spoke with such finesse while making absolutely certain that he clearly understood the bottom line. She is an expert at saying it like it is without being nasty or negative, and for our situation, that was exactly what we needed. She explained every detail and reasoning behind everything from paperwork to pricing to showings and so on. Jen sweetly endured and answered all of our silly questions without so much as a hint of frustration, and she periodically called just to check in, say "hi", and see how we were doing. We were on a little bit of a time constraint because of the start date of my husband's new job. We ended up moving out of state a few weeks before the closing date, so we conducted business via phone, email, and UPS. As the date of closing snuck up on us, I had made a big mistake (well, at least I thought I did) with papers that needed to be notarized and signed by me and my husband. In tears and completely freaking out, I called Jen. She assured me that my "problem" would not even be a setback, and that everything would work out just fine. She even called my husband to help ease his anxiety since he was so worked up about it that he wouldn't even listen to me! Jen was the calming voice during one of the most stressful times in our lives, and that is something we will never forget. Thank you, Angie's List, for helping me find Jen Geisinger. Our experience with Jen and Jeff was very satisfactory. We interviewed three realtors from Angies List and decided to work with Jen and Jeff. They were fantastic!
