From the beginning they were professional, friendly and answered all questions in detail. They made suggestions that made sense, and didn't throw any hard-sell at us. I watched them do the installation and was glad I chose them. They know their business and had no problems with anything. Their follow-ups and keeping contact with us over the years has been very reassuring.

They were on-time and got the job done quickly. In addition to moving the furnace to a different location, they also addressed some issues with the original installation by a different company so that the HVAC system would operate more efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves and got the job done in a day. Price not too out of line for the work done. We have had no subsequent issues with the furnace.

They are very throrough, consult about any anomalies they might find, gave us the name and number of someone to repair some Hardie board damage from the air exchanger, and also took photos of the damage for us to use in taking it to the builder. Very courteous, professional, They also sent a reminder this spring about putting in a clean filter for the furnace. They're the ONLY heating/AC outfit that we would use.

I had actually met with Joel Smith a little over a year ago to get an estimate on a new furnace and central air conditioner. He promptly came to my house, explained what types of equipment would be suitable for my townhouse and gave me estimates of two different options of Ruud furnaces/ACs. His prices were competitive with two other bids received, but I decided against replacing my furnace/AC at that time. When my furnace started making loud noises and at the advice of the CenterPoint technician who performed a tune-up, I decided it was time to replace that 27-year-old furnace and the air conditioner too. I reached out to Joel Smith, who was able to locate the quote he had given me last year. He updated the prices for inflation and emailed the new proposal to me. I decided to hire him on Monday and he was able to schedule the installation for Wednesday, just two days later. The installers arrived on time, were very professional, and had the installation completed within about five hours. They took the time to walk me through the features of the new equipment, explain what maintenance I would need to do, and answer any other questions I had. An electrician had to come the next day to complete the wiring for the air conditioner and that also went smoothly. The furnace installer said they will also come back in the spring to start up the air conditioner to make sure it is running properly. After the installation was complete, the installer even asked if he could use my vacuum to vacuum up the carpet downstairs to make sure everything was left clean. They were careful to put down drop cloths to make sure they didn't track any dirt into my house. The furnace is working great and I was very pleased with the overall outcome.

He arrived on time, was very pleasant and professional. Explained in detail what was done to complete the repairs and told us to call if we had any additional questions.

They are always on-time and they are helpful. They are a pretty small company, so we've always had very personable service from them. They know who I am and where I live right away when I call.

My furnace was red-tagged (shut down as hazardous and inoperable) two days before Thanksgiving. I scarmbled the next day to get three quotes on a new one. Joel came right out in the morning and gave me a very competitive bid. He was the only one to follow up on that bid right away. I was already leaning in his direction but the prompt communication and ability to schedule an installation quickly swayed my judgment. I am pleased with my new furnace, but still waiting for final inspection. I gave them a mark off for communication because I haven't heard about inspection yet and they still need to change the drain line (they left the old one in) at that time. But overall I am very pleased with their service.

Joel and his employees were wonderful to do business with. They performed all work with excellence. They were professional and knowledgeable in the process. They were prompt to schedule and perform the work. They were present for city inspections and responsive to help with a slight gas leak in furnace area. They set up the fireplace and instructed me how to use it. Joel's friendly personality and positive attitude made doing business with him enjoyable. His two employees who performed the work also made the experience positive through their accurate workmanship and overall professionalism. I would contact them again for any future HVAC needs.

Joel and his team were doing wonderful job from the time for estimate until the process of installation. Dustin and Brian were great, and know what they are doing. Can't thank Joel and his crew enough. Curt steered us into great replacement choices for our old furnace and A/C unit. He answered all our "what ifs" and explained everything about the replacement system's features and improvements over our defunct systems. He was also able to provide us with a portable A/C unit to help take the edge off of the 95+ degree weather!! Then Dusty, Brian and Rick did an equally impressive installation job. They cut no corners and consistent with what we've seen from you and Curt, they went beyond the basics and bent over backwards with their attention to detail during the installation phase. I can sum up the experience by saying if I didn't know better, I would think this was all for one of their own homes. This morning, I had to walk to the furnace area to even tell whether the fan was running. We just couldn't be more pleased with your service and products.

My air conditioner stopped working during a massive heat wave. I called on Monday and they were not able to come out until Wednesday afternoon. The tech was very thorough and explained my. Predicament.. I bought the air conditioner - Rudd and it was installed on Thursday afternoon. My only criticism is that I believe they should have waved the $74 for the inspection especially since I was buying a unit. But I would use them again. Maria

Provider came out same day of call during a holiday week. They supplied anit-fireeze to my AC unit because it had a leak in the pipe and was low on anti-freeze. The guy explained everything in detail, was friendly, and gave me options for fixing the problem. He fixed the problem and everything is working great! thanks

My AC went out on 7/3 and I called Joel Smith Heating and AC at approx 10am. They said they couldnt get out to me til next week due to their full schedule and the holiday weekend. So I decided to call around and find someone who could get here sooner. Within an hour, they called me back and said they had a cancellation and Kurt could be out between 1:30 and 2pm. Kurt was awesome. He showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired the unit (everyone i spoke with on the phone was preparing me for a new AC unit - fortunately it ended up being a simple fix). I'm pretty technical (engineer) and quasi handy, and Kurt was more than willing to explain to me what he was doing to diagnose and fix, showed me how he was checking the pressures and temperatures, etc. I gave a B for price because the part was marked up pretty significantly. I know thats how everyone runs their business, so its not a huge deal, but its just a pet peeve of mine. The service call and labor was less than other companies that I called. I will definitely call them back for all my HVAC needs in the future. Thanks!

Called Joel Smith's office to set appointment and had a tech sent out within a day or two. They arrived in a fully equipped truck and did all the maintenance on the system needed, and changed the filters as well. They answered all questions as they always do. Our system runs well and is trouble-free due to their fine installation and maintenance work.

I have had them for a few years and they are good. I have usually had Joel, who owns the business, and Seth out here. They are professional and responsive. They do good work. They are good with the diagnostic aspects of the furnace.

Called them at 3 in the afternoon on a hot day after our A/C stopped working. He showed up within an hour of my call and replaced a capacitor that had gone bad. Plus he did a quick inspection of the system. Very happy with the service and highly recommend them!
