Old air conditioner and when initial repair was made worked for about a day and then shut off completely They were out within hours to repair. Trustworthy, stands behind their work.

I have had them do work at my house and not just maintain. They put in a large media filter for me. They put a third zone in for me. I keep calling them back. I like them. I thought the price was reasonable.

The price was reasonable. If it was horrible than I would have remembered, They installed a media filter. Usually you can go and buy a 1" thick filter that you can use for your air returns. It pulls the air in and removes the dust, dander and air particles. That is what filters are for. The average has a 1" filter things. A media filter is 3"-4" thick. They had to make room for it. So when I say they installed it, I mean they installed a media filter system. You go from a 1" filter to a 3"-4" filter so you need the room for it. When the owner came to explain, I also go a humidifier and air exchange. He explained those to me since I was unfamiliar. They took the time to explain everything.

Extremely well. Tech was very friendly and helpful. He performed diagnostics on the furnace, the furnace was shutting down because it was hitting the high limit, he offered suggestions and made adjustments to the furnace to keep it from hitting the high limit. I have a modulating furnace and he helped me connect the two stage thermostat that I had installed so that the furnace would recognize that the thermostat was controlling the second stage instead of running timed staging. He reset dip switches on furnace to recognize the two stage thermostat. I appreciated the fact that he didn't try to sell me a service contract as many HVAC contractors do.

Joel was here on time, performed the work in an acceptable amount of time and then explained and showed me what he did. I have used this company since I have owned my house (10 years) and have never been disappointed in the service and the work that was done.

We were pleased with Joel Smith Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. It seems to be working well- the work needed to be done, and they seem to do it fine. The price seemed reasonable. We want workers to have an honest wage and what they charged just made sense to us. It wasn't cheap but at the same time, I understand. I think I remember being a little bit shocked but at the same time, think of a plumber for example, they do a very important work and they need to be paid right. But the cost is high at the same time. I understand that everybody needs an honest wage. I think they came out quite soon. I will probably use this provider again.

They did a good job. It was $500 less than the other people wanted. I liked everything about them. They were polite, great on the telephone, and they knew what part I needed. They told me they would take care of me and would do it for the right price, and that's what they did. They did everything they said they were going to. I couldn't ask for anything more. My interaction with them was great. The work was wonderful. It was perfect.

They've actually done a couple of things for me. At this point in time, they're my primary heating guy. The very first time that I had them come out was shortly after purchasing the house and we got a down draft vent in our kitchen which is behind the range top. I was getting a lot of leaks through that and I didn't have a clue as to who to call. It's not really an air conditioner kind of thing and it's definitely not a plumber thing. I had them out there because I was also experiencing some water that was coming off the back of my furnace. I had somebody out there and the nice gentleman charged me for fixing the vent in the kitchen because it took some sheet metal work and bending some stiff, that was really complicated. What I really called them out there for was to check the drip. They actually fount that the previous owners, one of their little kids must have dropped a little plastic flower hair barrette thing in through the furnace system. There's a drip fan that's inside the furnace and it was overflowing. He just went in there, cleaned out the drip pan, got out the children's barrette that was blocking the hole that would have caused it to go ahead and drain it properly and then sealed everything back up. He didn't charge me a dime for the time he spent on that. The next time that they came out, I needed to have a humidifier which was attached to the furnace. The gentleman was absolutely wonderful. I walk with a cane. I'm a large lady so I'm not very mobile. Anytime they had any questions for me, they came to me, I didn't need to stay down there and hover to make sure. They were very understanding of my limited mobility as well. They also recommended a 4-inch blower.

Excellent. The technician was very friendly and only replaced what was needed. No upselling which was much appreciated. Work was done promptly and didn't even know he was around (cleaned up after himself). Highly recommend this company.

It is a joy to watch people who know what they are doing. All the work was done without problems. I chose them because they were local and seemed knowledgeable.

I have had Joel Smith Heating and Air Conditioning perform my furnace maintenance the past 4 years and have been very satisfied with the results. The furnace is working flawlessly and they even eliminated a rattle I had due to a loose intake pipe. Highly recommended.

There were no issues. They were good. They took time to walk me through the process and changed the humidifier filter. The price was about what I expected. They were here on time.

The provider was very professional and friendly. He explained the problem and the needed solution. The old furnace was back up and running within four hours even though they had to secure a part from another part of the metro area. It was great to have such a fast response on a cold day when heat was definitely needed! House call rate and labor rates were reasonable, the parts I don't have a frame of reference to judge.
