They did a very good job! They were on time. They were polite. He showed me exactly what needed done and how much it would cost. That's exactly what they billed me for!

We decided to hire Citywide based on his quoted price and recent Angie's List reviews. We ended up having to pay a little more than the original quote. However, the extra cost was necessary once he actually saw our current set up and was a very fair, minimal additional price. Ryan was very efficient, professional and answered the many questions we had about the water heater and our plumbing in general. The area was spotless when he was done. We would not hesitate to recommend Ryan to others (and have already done so) and would contact him again for future plumbing issues.

We just got a new washer and gas dryer after tiling our laundry room. When I tried to install the gas line to the dryer I realized that the copper tubing was kinked near the floor. This was not something that I wanted to try and fix myself, so we called Citywide plumbing. I was surprised that Ryan was able to come out the next day. When he arrived he quickly gave me the quote and went rigt to work. Ryan finished in less time than he had originally estimated and the work was done well.

It was a very good experience. Price was reasonable and tech was very professional. I will use them again.

We have a 1921 bathtub with a drum trap drain. It was starting to drain very slowly. I had other plumbers tell me that they would not attempt to clean it as it would probably break. The bids I got to replace it were anywhere from $800-$1,500. That price didn't include what it would cost to repair my dining room ceiling which they would need to access to replace the drum trap. Ryan Sahlberg owner of Citywide Plumbing came out to give me a bid. He said he thought that it could probably be snaked out. He sent Marty out to do the job and he was able to snake it. Marty was great, he was very respectful of my property and really a nice guy. I am so grateful to Ryan for saving so much money and a big mess. Both guys were very positive which I love when people come to work at my house. I would absolutely recommend Citywide and I will be using them as my plumbers in the future.

Ryan came out the first time and of course, no sewer gas smell, so he arranged to have someone out with a drain camera to see if they could find the clog and the crack. The man came out with the special camera and found that there was a crack in our pipe, under our cement floor. This was a separate charge. After we found the clog we were ready to start digging up the concrete to fix it. Unfortunately and unknown to us, our floor had original tiles which were asbestos. Ryan made some phone calls and got an abatement company to come out and remove the tiles the next day. BTW, my house still smells from this removal, be sure and ask the abatement company about smells you could get from the tile removal. If it hadn't been nice that week and we could keep the windows open I don't think I could have stayed here until the smell went away. This was also a separate charge. Once the tiles were removed Ryan came back the next day and started in on the floor. He found the crack in the pipe and also found the rest of the pipe to be bad and had a 'dip' in the pipe, hence water would sit in pipe and over the years would corrode it. He did a lot of work and opened up a trench to replace the old pipe with new and confirmed it was sitting at the proper angle to drain. Then he arranged for a cement person to come in and cement the trench back up and make it all right again. This was included in his price. When he was done he cleaned up the area, which was a real mess, and put the old cement chunks out in the driveway for his cement guy to pick up when he came to do the cement work. I found Ryan to be very professional and knowledgeable, explained things to us as he went along so we knew more of what we could expect once he found the problems.

It went well. They arrived on time, did a thorough job, answered all questions and were finished up within 2 hours.

We replaced a 14 yr. old water heater that was running fine, but we were trying to avoid needing an "emergency" replacement down the road. Ryan ordered the water heater, came in the morning and prepped the old one for removal, then a few other gentleman came with the new one and helped Ryan removed the old one (which was full of sediment and quite heavy). Ryan efficiently installed the new heater and also made a change to keep us up to code. He handled the permit request, and we could pay him directly; gave us the contact info for the inspector so we could make an appointment, let us know we could get a rebate from Centerpoint Energy for the new energy efficient water heater, and gave us the necessary paperwork . This is the 2nd time we've used Ryan's services and couldn't be more pleased! He's professional, timely, courteous, conscientious, trustworthy, doesn't over inflate his prices, and cleans up everything when the work is done. We especially like that he performs the work himself. We'll definitely ask him to come again for future plumbing needs, and I just passed on his contact info today to a friend. In each instance, Ryan has been nothing short of professional, courteous, and efficient. He stated the cost up-front (which is quite reasonable, BTW), arrived promptly and did an outstanding job, with good materials and expert workmanship. I would highly recommend Citywide Plumbing to anyone.

First off, I can't believe I did not write a review for Citywide until now. Ryan has been great and very easy to work with on the work that we have had done starting in May 2012 and the last work was done the early part of November 2012. Ryan removed and installed a new shower, sink and shower head in our basement bathroom. It was a very difficult installation and the shower was in a horrible condition. We are grateful for the professional way Ryan dealt wih the removal and installation of the shower in that bathroom. We also used Citywide for a plugged line inside the house and Ryan referred us to a very pleasand young man that works for him. He finished the work in no time at all and thank goodness we have had no problems since then. Ryan installed grab bars in our main bathroom in the tub/shower area and by the toilet. A difficult installation making sure the bolts went into studs that were further apart than most homes built now. After a great trip to NM in October, we had to call on Ryan again to replace and install a new gas water heater and bring the installation to meet new code in our city. We have been so pleased with Ryan's work. The work that he has done would have been done by my husband, but due to health issues he can no longer do that work. Ryan made it easier for Larry to accept having someone else do the work that he used to do and it made my life much easier also.

Ryan and I talked price on the phone, set up a date to come make the repairs and then he arrived when he said he would. The job was done quickly but thoroughly, he was very knowledgeable, and gave estimates for future work.

Our 12-year-old house has a water shut-off valve for the sprinkle system that each year became more and more difficult to completely turn off. After having to make a second trip to our house last fall to blow out our sprinkler system again due to water still dripping from the outdoor faucet, our sprinkler company suggested we have our water shut-off valve replaced before blowing out the sprinkler system this year. After procrasting all summer long, I called Citywide Plumbing today and the plumber said that he could be out in 20 to 30 minutes. He completely the work in approximately one hour and everything looks fine. The shut-off valve is now easy to use!

It was good. It was a small job. They did a really great job.

Ryan cleared the toilet and made sure there was no other problem in the main line. He was finished very quickly - about half an hour from start to finish, I think. He was courteous, professional, and took care of the problem with no hassles. I'd recommend Citywide, and will keep the number handy for future reference.

I was having trouble with my toilets backing up. Called Ryan, who recommended new, higher quality toilets. He researched a few brands and gave me several options in different price ranges, based on the color and shape I needed. He offered to pick them up and install the the following day. He called when he was on the way (8:30 AM). Ryan was incredibly nice, professional and quick. He gave me an estimate. He had to replace 3 toilets and the plumbing lines to them. He also did some other plumbing troubleshooting for me. He removed old toilets and cleaned up. Work came in right on estimate. I would absolutely use Ryan for any plumbing needs I may have in future.

Everything was fine. My husband was the one who really worked with him, but I would say that he was real prompt and answered questions right away. He did it all nice and easy.

Ryan is a rock star!!. Our water heater (new house) sprung a leak. We've had such good experience with Ryan in the past, he was the first one we called. He came out very quickly and installed a better water heater for a better price than we paid at the big Home Improvement store in the past. He pays attention to detail, such as how it was situated in the basement, and improved on the old installation. I absolutely will call him for all our plumbing jobs in the future. He's great!!

Ryan was terrific! He responded quickly, came out that day, and replaced the shut-off valve. He did what we needed - and also provided an estimate for a water heater replacement, at my request - without trying to sell me work I didn't need done (as some plumbers do.) He was open to my questions and explaining what he was doing. Very professional. Will definitely use again!

Overall, the experience was good. The plumber only did what was necessary and didn’t do any extra work that I didn’t need, which I appreciated. He really knew what he was doing and I’d definitely call him back if needed.

They were very responsive and flexible. The water heater that I ordered was too big for the space that I had to put it in so the Citywide person came up with a smaller but similar water heater and he was able to install it at the same time.

Ryan showed up on time, listened to the problem, diagnosed the cause, estimated the job, explained what was needed to be done, and completed it on time. Very positive experience.
