Of the 4 buisnesses I called, they are the only ones who responded promptly and consistantly. Not only were they responsive, BUT they were very flexible and accomodating with regard to meeting times, pricing. Comparatively, the communication via email was very good. Pricing is difficult to gauge, but I suspect in this business- a good working relationship is worth what I paid. If I have more landscaping, yard work or tree triming to do- I will be calling them again.

Rainy weather problems delayed them beginning the project for a good bit, but when staff arrived they worked at warp speed! :-) I expected the project might take 2 days, but they finished in 1, despite brutal heat. All the workers were professional and friendly. I have never seen such a diligent and hard working crew., and I've seen a few :-) When they departed, they left everything tidy and pristine. High praises for Garrett Landscaping. They are the BEST.

After 48 hours no one returned my phone call. I find this very unprofessional and wouldn't do business with a company that won't return phone calls to prospective customers.

My garden beds all have English edging which needed to be re-dug. I needed mulch and clean up. 2 men from Garrett came and worked the entire day edging my beds, cleaning out all leftover leaves etc and spreading mulch. They also repositioned all of my stepping stones which was sorely needed! The workers were beyond amazing.I have a lot of spring bulbs out and a lot of spring wildflowers. They worked carefully around them all.They are real perfectionists, making sure every bit of mulch was perfect. I have a ton of garden beds so although the price was steep, I am satisfied with the work. The 2 men who worked in my yard should be on HGTV!!

They gave me a quote, they stuck to it, and they didn't charge me extra for anything. They really did a good and nice job. They cleaned up after themselves and they showed up when they said they should.

I started working with Steve at Garrett's about 6 months in advance of our planting. He was easy to work with and listened to my ideas about layout, plant types and design. I had some specific thoughts on what I wanted to accomplish for screening and visually and he listened. When they came out to plant we had a good idea of what we were getting. On planting day it took his team just hours to do the work and have everything in place. We did have one tree that did not thrive and after some attempts to save it, Garrett's honored their warranty and replaced it. We have gotten many compliments from neighbors as far as two blocks away. It has not only improved the look of our yard more than we expected, it also added to the appeal of our street. And it does the job of providing a nice screen.

I would highly recommend them for both simple and highly detailed landscaping work.

Company did a decent job on the pavers, with a couple of notable exceptions requiring rework. The owner was very responsive to the need for rework, repairing an area of the walk subject to erosion (due, I'm told to poor hillside prep), securing the steps for a stairway through one of the retaining walls and addressing a design flaw with a finishing section of a retaining wall.Sod application was poor, as no attention was paid to the underlying surface which turned out to be hard clay, virtually impenetrable to sod roots for years. Tree planting was not professional as many trees were planted too low, stunting growth. Irrigation system was not mapped out well to ensure coverage as the landscape evolved. This was our first (and hopefully last) home build project and we were a bit naive and too trusting on this aspect of the build. It has cost us a lot of money over the past decade fixing the mistakes. In retrospect, Scott Garrett was, I believe at the time, a "doer" capable of marshaling a crew and grinding out the work, but his inexperience in landscape design and some of the basic (or, so we thought) functions we hired him for became apparent.

It took awhile to get to the job because they do all the work themselves, but that is one reason we hired them. Once started, the work went exactly as planned and corrected all the problems. They even came back at no charge and added extra gravel on our driveway even though that was not part of the original quote.

They were very thorough but a little expensive. He is a very high end landscaper. He was very knowledgeable and I really learned a lot from him and the bid he gave. I would highly recommend him for extensive work.

They were neat and clean. The job done was fine. I would use them in the future.

Scott was great throughout the whole process. Helped me choose the best concrete pavers from a local vendor (Fendt) and offered great advice for a layout footprint that would look attractive as well as fit into my budget. When I chose a pattern he hadn't worked with previously, he adapted well and did a great job. His team worked fast and diligently. I would highly recommend this group to anyone!

They did not show up, and they did not call to cancel.

The project went extremely well. We had to depend on the weather being that it was early spring. The workmen were NEAT. Scott closely supervised the project along with his head crew chief. The company is HONEST and they do quality work. I have received tons of compliments in regards to my project. I am sure the company has pictures of what they did.

They did an excellent job for me. They were very courteous and professional. They cleaned up behind themselves as well.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY WERE ON TIME AND GOT THE JOB DONE. I LIKED THEM A LOT BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO, AND TOLD ME HOW TO BE SAFE UNTIL THE ASPHALT COOLED.
